  I can’t say enough good things about this place! First off, the parking situation is fantastic—plenty of great and safe parking available, which is a huge relief. They have a dedicated kids' playroom, so while parents focus on their Jiu Jitsu classes, their kids are happily occupied, allowing for peace of mind. This gym is the cleanest place I’ve ever seen; it’s evident that the owners take pride in maintaining an immaculate environment. The classes offered are exceptional, catering to all skill levels, and I particularly appreciate the women’s open mats and classes that foster a supportive community. What truly sets this place apart is their commitment to giving back. They actively work with the community to collect used gear for underprivileged families, which speaks volumes about their values. The owners are personable and respectful, making everyone feel welcome and part of the family. If you’re looking for a gym that combines quality training with a strong sense of community, I highly recommend training here.

  Fell in love with the gym and the overall team here. Great spot for anyone looking to enter competitive BJJ or for those looking for a more general hobby BJJ experience. Combate offers both and also sells some pretty sweet Gis as well. Many folks here have their entire families doing bjj and it's a wonderful culture to be a part of.

  “The culture and community here is what keeps me coming back.” I’ve been training at Combate Academy for over a year, and while BJJ is tough, the culture and community here make all the difference. From the very beginning, I’ve felt supported — not just by the instructors, but by every teammate on the mat. There’s no ego here.   I put off trying BJJ for years because I could never find a gym that felt right. That changed when I found Combate Academy. From day one, the vibe was super welcoming. No egos, just a bunch of good people trying to get better together. The coaches and professors are knowledgeable and down to earth. They actually care about your progress. The members are friendly and supportive, whether you’re brand new or more experienced. If you’re thinking about trying BJJ, this place makes it easy to jump right in.

  I can't recommend Combate Academy enough! Super welcoming vibe from the second you walk in. Everyone from the coaches to the students was friendly, down-to-earth, and helpful. No ego, just a bunch of people who love jiu-jitsu and want to help each other get better. The gym itself is really clean. Mats were spotless, and the whole place just felt well taken care of. They have lockers rooms for women/men separate from bathrooms. Can tell they put effort into creating a good training environment. Whether you're brand new or have some experience, this place makes you feel like you belong. I love Combate Academy, definitely recommend!
