Great traditional Kung Fu school. I trained here for a few years when I lived in NYC. The training and atmosphere is great. The instructors are very detail oriented and have a genuine interest in seeing the students progress. I always appreciated how balanced the workouts were between developing strength and flexibility as well the techniques. Aside from that there was always a lot of focus on developing an overall healthy life style through the Kung Fu training. Training here is one of the things I miss most about living in NYC. I'd recommend this school to anyone interested in martial arts training.
I began training at the Chinese Kung Fu Wu Association in the early 90`s and still keep connections with many of my contemporaries and Grand Master Lee himself. He is a truly what a person of Kung Fu should work to attain.
Studied there for close to 30 years. Still practice what I know so let's make that 34 years. Always felt like home. We are a true family.
I have actively studied with the school for 18 years. I have been part of the association for 20 years. The school has history and has been around a long time. There are many classes to choose from and many great instructors. This is helpful when finding an instructor you feel you can connect with as a student and learn from. I know being here during my time as a teenager and young adult has helped me in more ways than I can write in a single post.
