My son has been going here for a few years now and has developed his confidence, social skills and fitness fantastically. Sifu Lee (the boss) and the other instructors are great with kids. My other half has recently joined in the adult classes. The club also helps out with lots of charity events around Cheltenham including marshaling the Sue Ryder Starlight Hike.
Posted 1 year agoMy son has training at chi wai for 2 years and he loves it. The facilities are great and all the instructors are friendly and knowledgable. It’s lovely to seeing my son grow in confidence and progress through the belts whilst being part of a really welcoming and supportive martial arts community.
Posted 1 year agoMy son has been going to Chi Wai for nearly 4 years now and I am happy with the progress he has made. Before he started he lacked confidence and would not have know how to defend himself. His confidence has grown and would quite happily defend himself if he needed to. Lee, Mel and anyone he has dealings with are fab and continue to help him grow with these important life skills.
Posted 1 year agoKids have been learning Kung Fu with this exceptional club for almost a year now. It's not just martial arts they are learning but also leadership skills and respect. They have a large windows so you can see all the action inside the Dojo from the adjacent waiting room or you can watch the proceedings on a monitor.
Posted 3 years agoMy son has been coming to Chi Wai for almost 2 years, starting just before he turned 5. We absolutely love it here and he looks forward to his lessons every week. The instructors are amazing, they are brilliant with all the children - especially if they are nervous. My son is quite shy and lacks confidence in himself but joking Chi Wai has helped him such a lot. He is always incredibly proud of himself when he gets a new belt and the monthly challenges really inspire him to do his best and have a fantastic mindset. In short, this isn't just a place to come once a week for martial arts, it's a community that inspires children to be the best they can be and teaches them incredibly valuable life lessons on the way - the importance of practicing, the value of hard work, good manners, self discipline and more.
