This is an amazing place. It is hard for me to put into words how great it is but I will try. I have two children who I bring here and I pass several other dojos on my way, with good reason. The instructors here are amazing with the kids. This place is focused on turning children into good adults through martial arts, nothing more and nothing less. The owners are not in this for money - they go out of their way to keep it affordable. All instructors are very humble, there is not a drop of ego in the building, it is about learning together, not showing off.
My son loves going to his Karate class, he really really really enjoys it. The sensei’s and all the staff are very profesional. It’s safe place and a they have a lot of fun.
We love bringing our children to CMA. The kids have a great relationship with the sensei's and other instructors. They are very supportive and helpful! They keep things fun with community we events give the kids a variety of things to do.

My son Sebastian has been there in the dojo for a while, and we have enjoyed every minute. There's always all kinds of fun activities. They help the students not only with the karate but also with confidence, leadership and discipline. Highly recommended.
Our first sports steps began in this school. When you are 4 years old, everything happens like a game. Over time, the games moved to the level of competitions where we proudly represent our academy. Many prize places in various prestigious BJJ competitions such as NAGA, NEWBREED, AGF, IBJJF and others, more than 30 victories mainly by submissions. Yes, yes, yes... this academy prepares champions! Out of 5 stars for the academy, I will give it 10 stars! See you on the mats!

My grandson just recently started Jiu-jitsu here. The instructors are terrific. They are helping him learn the moves the others already know. They make the lessons fun and worthwhile. Whenever possible, they give one-on-one attention to each student. They bring in extra help for large classes. They emphasize leadership and respect to the students. The students are told to focus on techniue. It is a welcoming place for those who have no martial arts experience and for those with years of training. You could not find a better place for you or your child to learn and grow.

I only have amazing things to say about this facility and the group of instructors and helpers. I feel safe with my son in their afterschool and summer program. Al principio no estaba segura de inscribir a mi niño en este deporte pero mi esposo insistió. y a sido la mejor decisión que hemos tomado. Esta academia es la mejor que hay en la zona, el sensei julius es super especial con los niños les enseña disciplina , técnicas y a la misma vez los niños se divierten. a mi niño le encanta al principio no quería mucho pero luego de 2 o 3 clases le agarro el ritmo. ya lleva 2 años y disfruta mucho sus clases. adicional a las clases, de acuerdo a la ocasión, les preparan actividades como el día de la madres, dia del padre, hallowen en fin todo el año tienen divertidas sorpresas. lo recomiendo 1000 %

I honestly can’t rate the team here higher! My son was having difficulty in his after school program (due to lack of structure) and Sensei Michelle reassured me and walked me through the discipline and coaching they employ with their students. Needless to say he has been loving it for 2 semesters now and his behavior is better at school and home. Great outlet for kids and great leaders at CMA!!

My 4yr old son has been going here for about 3 months now and I have seen a huge improvement not only in his behavior but also in his listening skills. This place teaches kids so much more than just self defense. It teaches them respect and gives them self confidence!
Our son who has autism has been coming here for a couple years now they don’t just focus on the whole group they help individuals as well they’ve gone above and beyond to help my family and my son here at championship martial arts they truly are a family oriented Second home. I can’t truly express in words how grateful we are to them. Check them out you will not regret it.
Covid has been a tough time for us all and I highly recommend taking classes here to help get yourself back on track. I've done martial arts for years (8 or so total across three different styles), and I must say the instructors here are some of the best I've had the pleasure of working with! They're not only patient and kind, but they truly want to help get you to your goals. So far in the new year I've lost 8 pounds and can see many positive changes already. Their cage class is also really fun and I highly recommend that if you're interested in gaining some really good muscle strength!

We signed up for the trial run to see if my daughters would like it enough to stick around, we knew from day two it was sticking! We’ve been going here a few weeks now, and it has been great for the entire family. My girls have a blast learning and I enjoy watching! You can tell the instructors are very passionate and they have a knack for teaching kiddos. Great place all around!
My son has been taking karate and jiu jitsu the last several months and it’s has been a great experience for the whole family. My son is doing better in school, more attentive at home, and he is much happier in general. Every instructor is great with kids and very knowledgeable of martial arts. I can not suggest championship martial arts more highly!

My daughter learned about Championship Martial Arts Conway through a festival at her elementary school several years ago. Later our Girl Scout Troop earned a badge about safety (or something) by learning about self defense at CMA. Shortly after this second experience she wanted to try martial arts. We’ve been part of the CMA family for about 4 years now. We’ve made great friends and had wonderful influences in her life.

All ages and all walks of life! This is an amazing school for jiu jitsu! All of the instructors are passionate about helping the students learn. You have 4,5,6 instructors teaching during every class. We could not be happier and are thrilled to watch our children grow. They do offer a competitive team if your children raises to the challenge.
We have more than 6 years on this academy and it's the The Best!!! We moved 4 years ago and tried in a different academy but my son said No mom please, I want my clases with Sensei Julius, he is my Sesei! Now I have 2 kids there, we need to run 35minutes to go to every class and 35 more to return home buy we do more than happy. My kiddos are growing and learning with the best team in the best place. CMA has been a part of our family for the last 2 years. All the sensei are wonderful. They all are great with the kids and treat EVEVERYONE like family. It has boosted my children self-esteem and confidence along with reinforcing good values and morals. One of the best decisions I have made.
There are other martial arts studios closer to our home, but we choose Championship Martial Arts Conway. Not only do they do a great job teaching martial arts, but they also teach respect, confidence, and discipline... and my daughter LOVES it.
I highly recommend for kids and adults. Julius, Michelle and their staff do an awesome job helping parents reinforce discipline, hard work, determination and confidence through their programs while having fun and learning martial arts during the weekly programs. Best value and experience for summer camp in the area by far. Their adult classes are also great and I can personally attest to the great exercise and camaraderie you experience each evening.

My son started lessons at 4yo and almost 4 years later he's still going strong and has learned so much, physically and mentally. The instructors are so caring and do a great job keeping so many kids focused, giving them one-on-one attention, while keeping it fun. The after school and camp programs are also really high quality and very affordable. My kid loves it. The whole place feels like family.

I can't say enough about all the Senseis here! My son has been training at CMA for almost two years now. They are amazing with the kids. There is always a lesson of the month. They teach respect, confidence, and discipline. The Senseis and other students are always quick to help someone out. CMA is like a big family.

The instructors are passionate and consistent with teaching. CMA Brazilian Jiu Jitsu of Conway helps with respect, dedication, confidence. A variety of classes and times are available to work with most families schedules. I am getting in a great work out with Cage fitness. I highly recommend them for adults or children of any age! Their Jiu Jitsu program for kids has been everything for my son, it has literally changed him and I no longer worry about him getting bullied at school for being so quiet....he loves it here.
They are all aspects of great! They have a teach values and respect. They care for the families that attend and are always willing to help. Not to mention a very clean facility. Highly recommend!
Family owned and operated for over a decade in the Conway community. The Sensei's (teacher in Japanese) are top notch and really take time to learn each of their students. Safe, fun, and extremely well done. I highly recommend checking them out and seeing for yourself.
We love CMA Conway. My son has been there for over two years and an is over halfway to his black belt. He is proud each day he has class, whether it is in person or on Zoom. He has grown in character as well as in strength. We are so glad to have found CMA Conway!
We’ve been going here a long time. Both of our kids are now black belts because of the great leadership the senseis provide. They will teach your kids physical fitness, discipline, respect, and provide them the confidence to be successful. Great family atmosphere.

Hands down one of the best choices we made for our son and family. Sensi Julius... There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this man is with kids and adults. One of the best teachers i have ever met. The whole staff at CMA is wonderful. My son went there for almost 4 years and i took classes as well and not one bad word to say about the place in all of that time. If i had to do it all over again i would in a heart beat. Still hope to get back in there some day once the kids are out of the house.

Can't say enough wonderful things about the Conway dojo. My family have been coming here for over 3 years now and my two kids are hooked on Ju Jitsu. The sensei's are wonderful role models who provide a safe, fun and disciplined environment for kids to learn at their own pace.

We love our new CMA family. We like how the staff pays attention to each child’s needs. Even in the bigger sized classes there always seems to be the feeling of one on one attention. We come from a previous dojo who believed that humiliation was a motivator, I assure you that this is not the case at CMA. They have help my kids grow stronger and have more endurance through encouragement and positive reinforcements. We are so please we finally found a place to train without fear.
CMA Conway is AMAZING! Our daughter has taken karate classes here for nearly 3 years and we have nothing but positive things to say about our experience. We initially enrolled her as a means to work on her self confidence. She's made huge strides, and has made so many wonderful friends. The Senseis really care about each individual child's growth and show unwavering enthusiasm each and every class. I don't know how they don't get tired, lol. We also have her enrolled in their After School program. They pick her up from school and have a structured schedule upon arrival: homework time, snack time, mini lesson, play time, regular classes. You definitely get what you pay for at CMA Conway, and so much more. Michelle and Julius are incredible people and excellent role models who truly enjoy working with children. Their passion really shows. Our family HIGHLY recommends CMA Conway!!!!
We came to CMA Conway after spending several years at another dojo. Our biggest regret is not coming sooner. We have been overwhelmed by the true feeling of family and support. The atmosphere is one of encouragement, and the training itself is top notch. We recommend CMA to all of our friends who are interested in martial arts.
Best after school program and summer day camp in the neighborhood. My son is been going there for almost 3 years and the discipline that he learns transcends to his behavior in the classroom as well as his other extracurricular activities. I highly recommend this place.

I transferred my 2 boys from another karate after school program to here and it was the best thing I could have ever done. They are more patient, caring and understanding. And you can tell the instructors enjoy their job and working with kids. It makes me smile watching my babies getting so excited to come here they really treat you like family and I couldn't be any happier to write a great review about this place. I highly recommend bringing your children here we love it!!!
I have to say that this is by far one of the best Martial Arts Academy in Orlando. The instructor Julius and Michele are amazing, they know what team work really means. They are on top of the students, they know how to build their confidence but most of all they know that all of the students are different and they learn different... I am 100% satisfied with the progress of my daughter. Who is now a yellow belt. They have accessible payment plans and also free pick up at your school. And of course they also have other services and programs. Update: their schedule has recently changed and added more slots ... pleas3 check according to your needs.
I registered my then 4 year-old for classes here a few years ago for recreational purposes and to help build his self-esteem. We were with the little dragons for just under a year, but the treatment he received from the head instructor left a lot to be desired. On a couple of occasions the instructor brushed my son aside, which struck me as strange especially with how he seemed to get on with the rest of the kids. The assisting instructors were wonderful. We selected this location because it has such great reviews, but it just wasn’t a pleasant experience having my son approach our seats during water breaks with tears in his eyes over feeling rejected.
Classes where cancelled at school due to Covid19. then they decided to due online class. I am very upset at the fact that not only the zoom class never seemed to work for my 4 year old and I didn't waste time doing a second session cause first one was a failure. I have called and e-mailed and in 4 days no one ever contacted me back. I received a package on the mail yesterday which was insulting! they provided a yellow/white belt that can make 3 loops on my 4 y/o boy! is huge size and they printed a certificate that came "all wrinkled" because it was literally tossed on the envelope without any care!I am questioning, certificate for what? he only went to 2 maybe 3 classes at school and never again, so they charged me a course training cost just to receive an extra large adult belt and a wrinkled certificate? unbelievable! what a bad experience and customer service provided
