My son has been attending Championship Martial Arts Mcdonough for the past 4 years and it continues to be a wonderful experience for him. He has learned with hard work and dedication he can accomplish his goals and heart desires. I am proud to say on 11/16/24 he accomplished his goal of becoming a 1st degree black belt! A special thanks to his instructor Mr. Colmenero who has been with my son from the very beginning. He is an awesome instructor and truly cares for each and every kid. I would like to thank all the other instructors as well for staying dedicated to all the kids. If you are looking to enroll your child into karate I can ensure you CMA will not disappoint.
How is anyone even able to enroll? No one returns calls or responds to online inquiries! I’ve even stopped in TWICE and was told I’d get a callback. UPDATE, I received a callback and an invitation to come on in. My son went for his second class today and loves it. I am very pleased. They seem to be pretty busy and I can understand how the call slipped thru the cracks. It’s a great place!
Do your kids need structure and discipline? Mr. C knows how to reach them! He has a way with kids that makes them think about their choices. He helped me with my daughter when she was getting a little out of hand. He helped her see that choices have consequences! She started thinking and making better choices. He is a great instructor and is very patient! This karate studio is also involved with helping the community and sponsors families at thanksgiving and Christmas. Ms. Clair keeps the office organized and on a forward track. I can’t say enough nice and uplifting things about this particular studio!!! They are truly on a quest to molding your children to be their best.

Great school for karate. The instructors really know how to teach kids of all ages from toddlers to teens. My family has been in the CMA family for the past two years and we have never had a bad experience. My 10 year old has learned a lot and my 16 year old just started a few months ago and she is loving it too!
My son has been with CMA for about 2 years now, and has loved it! He has learned a lot and grown from being with them. Mr. Colmenero and the whole staff is awesome! They are patient with the kids and have helped my son gain more confidence! I 100% recommend enrolling your kid(s) here!!

This place is awesome! The instructors are sweet, caring, and great with even young kids. Our daughter has been going here since she turned 4. She'll be 5 soon. These classes have reiterated and driven home values that we have taught her such as self-discipline, respect, and persistence. I recommend this place 100%. If you're thinking about signing your kid up, do it! At least ask about the introductory deal to see if your kids likes it.
CMA has been a great growing opportunity for both musicians children. The instructors are caring and supportive of all students. They really groom student leaders!

CMA McDonough is a fantastic place for your child to learn karate. The instructors are amazing and really care about the kids. Although not an easy task, several students have earned their black belts in the 4 years we have been attending classes here. I highly recommend CMA McDonough.
Our family has been using CMA for nearly 6 years! The instructors are phenomenal and patient with the kids. I have four boys in karate here, our instructors have not just taught them great skills, but courtesy, patience, respect and focus. I recommend this studio to everyone!!
