My kids love Champions. They are learning discipline and techniques in TKD. Master Chung is really engaging, and the kids love him.
This is second year my son attending this taekwondo. And we just signed him up for additional 30 months. He loves the place. He learned so much from the master and staffs. Master Chung is very nice and respectful. Highly recommend!!
My son Samuel has been going to Champions Martial Arts for almost a year and he’s been loving it since he stated. Master Chung has a high positive energy to help and guide kids to be more confident and disciplined, other stuffs also are very friendly and patient. It is a good place to start the Taekwondo class for kids!
Best Tae Kwon Do in Long Island! My daughter loves this place since day 1. She has been with this school since 1st grade and now going to 8th grade this September. Master Chung is patient and professional. They have new instructors who are caring as well. My daughter not only has been a black belt student learning all the new forms and lessons for herself, but also has an opportunity to assist in teaching/leading in the little tiger classes which help her learn how to lead, be more patient and caring and having confidence. They have a new headquarter for test and tournaments, becoming more organized than before. Highly recommend!
Both my sons are learning Taekwondo for more than 3 years in this location. Both are black belt and continue to stay in this sport. They are also being more self discipline. They love the Master and staff.
Great taekwondo school! My kids have been coming here for over 2 years. Master Chung and the staff are fun, strict, patient, and polite. The kids really look up to Master Chung and the staff. They enjoy coming to class. Not only do the kids physically become stronger, they learn to meditate and focus, they build confidence, and are respectful to one another and to the elders. Highly recommend!
My two youngest children have been learning under Master Chung and his amazing team of instructors/leaders for a short 5 months and I am very happy with their positive progression in their overall attitude and confidence. Their programs reinforce good behavior, respect, and kindness towards others as well as motivating them to work hard toward their goals of earning (stars/stripes) or advancing to the next belt rank. I am glad that I chose this dojang specifically over the others in the area and am excited to see how my children further in their own personal growth and TKD training. The teachers are conscientious and responsible. They often hold various interesting activities, and the children like them very much.
Our son has been going here for 2 years. He looks forward to the classes. The instructors are patient and encouraging. The space is a bit small if you want to stay and watch, but fine for the kids in the class.

We moved last yearfrom Forest Hills and my kids switched CMA locations to Syosset. Master Chung and his staff have been amazing and helpful with the transition to CMA Syosset. Helping the kids learn about respect, become more disciplined and more importantly building self confidence in all his students. In less than a year my kids are now part of leadership club program and look forward to helping lead lower belts during class. Highly recommended!

My daughter has attended happily Champions Martial Arts Syosset for almost two years. From knowing nothing about TKD to purple tip belt now, she has learned a lot and grown a lot not only physically but also mentally. I highly recommend this dojang. The instructors are great. They offer opportunities to compete in tournaments, which really helps to test the various forms and sparring techniques that are taught and also helps the students to gain confidence and pride in their progress.

Both of my kids have been attending Champions Martial Arts for almost a year now, and they are still loving it. They are currently orange belt holders. Classes have been motivating and engaging that they haven't lost interest yet. I love that the Master not only teach them form and skills but they teach the kids respect and confidence. Kids enjoyed the classes that I signed them up for the Martial art summer camp.
The instructor here has high positive energy helping children here to be more confident and disciplined. We started at another location prior to this place, but this location has always been clean. My 6 year old daughter has grown from a green belt to almost a second degree black beck in a couple of years due to the guidance of the instructor. He focuses on proper forms and techniques rather than handing out belts like candy and also has adapted to teaching multiple belts at a time. We also had a few birthday parties for her at this location with a party of 30 kids and everyone had a great time.
My daughter has been going here for last 5 years and was able to achieve a black belt. She is working on her higher degrees now and love it. This is the best place for your kid to learn tae kwan do.
Master Chung is truly a master in inspiring his students. My children have been studying here since 2020 and it’s become like a second home for them- the values, the discipline, the encouragement- this is the best extra curricular decision I’ve ever made. They are committed to getting black belts and were so excited to recently earn their brown belts!

Seriously the best martial arts school you can look for in your local area. I've been looking for a place to learn basic self-defense and to get more active, and Syosset Champions was the perfect place to achieve both. Instructor Chung is very understanding, patient and caring—you can tell that he genuinely wants to help you become better and he does so much more than what you expect of him. I was really hesitant to start taekwondo at my age because most people start at much earlier stages of their lives. But I now think starting taekwondo was one of the best decisions that I've ever made in my life, thanks to Instructor Chung. I feel much healthier both physically and mentally ever since starting taekwondo!
Our girls have taken classes here and have also done private camps at the studio. Instructor Chung is amazing with the kids (ours were 5-7 yo) and makes the class enjoyable. But they also learned about discipline and self - defense. As someone who grew up in a Taekwondo family as well, this is such a gem in Syosset!!

My kids have been taking Taekwondo at CMA Syosset for 3 years now and they love it. Instructor Chung is very attentive to the students and genuinely wants them to succeed. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Instructor Chung has taken extra measures to keep the kids safe while offering online and in-person classes with extra safety precautions like cleaning in-between every session, small class sizes, protective barriers, social distance, mask wearing and more. I highly recommend this school.
My 2 boys started learning Taekwondo at Champions Martial Arts Syosset about a year ago and they love it! Instructor Chung is very professional and patient with kids (especially young kids like my younger son). He doesn't only teach them Taekwondo, but also morals and disciplines. During the pandemic, although the center is closed, he offered free online zoom classes to all the students. Now the center is opened, Instructor Chung puts in all the necessary safety protocols to provide a safe learning place for all the students. Highly recommended!
My daughter have been practicing at this Dojang for almost 3 years now and gone from a green belt to Bodan belt. The instructor has positive energy in helping the students be more confident and discipline. He focuses on proper forms and techniques and adapted to teaching multiple belts at a time. During the pandemic, the school offered zoom classes to keep the students active and continue to practice their curriculum. Now the school is opened again, Instructor Chung puts a lot of effort in place to keep the students safe by checking temperature and sanitizing hands upon entering the school. In between each class, the instructor would clean the mats and there are barriers added to keep students at a safe distance apart.
The center is very well run. Instructor Joseph Chung provides a positive environment that focuses on learning, respect, discipline, and fun. He is an exceptional human who knows how to connect with children of any age. My son has improved tremendous and loves the class. We are very happy and feel great about the decision to bring our son there.
Excellent! Our son loves coming to Tae Kwon Do. The instructor is very welcoming and is great with kids! It has helped our son a lot with confidence and I highly recommend champions martial arts in syosset!
One of the reasons why I put a five star rating is because he is very nice like he treats his students well. Another reason is because he has a great motivation to motivate his taekwondo students. Another reason is because it's in Syosset and it is although far away from my home (31 min), I have the motivation to walk all the way there to make my legs work harder and harder and taekwondo as a martial art motivates me to walk all the way there!

I signed up my 2 kids(Sam/Sar) for a free trial at this place around 4 months ago. Now, they are a member with white belt and ready/excited for another belt test this coming Saturday. They loved there because the instructor is patient, kid friendly, and knows how to help the kids enjoy each practices/class. We also like there because the price & class size is reasonable and the schedule is flexible. I recommend this school.

1 Too expensive to afford. 2 bad system very cheap services. 3 discrimination for kids . 4 Don’t care about customers feeling. 5 nothing special for the loyal customers. No matter how loyal you are.
