A-Force is a great place, my son fell in love after the first class of BJJ. A few months later, he tried Muay Thai and was hooked as well. He now does both back to back classes. I think Professors and coaches makes all the difference in the world. Alex, Eric, Boris and others are amazing with kids.

Last night, while attending my son’s training session at Syosset, I was so focused on capturing memorable moments of him on camera that I accidentally dropped $200 from my pocket. To my surprise and relief, someone found the money and returned it to the gym. Great place for anyone who wants to learn or advance their knowledge of Jui Jitsu! Ability to visit every location is a great advantage because you get to roll with different people, learn something new and make new friends. Syosset location in particular made me feel welcome and comfortable despite me not knowing anything about Jui Jitsu (and if you are brand new to this you know how overwhelming it could be!), thanks to the great professors and people who train there! Highly recommend A-Force!!!

My two sons started training here a little over 6 months ago and I didn’t expect much since they were 4 and 6 when they started. It has been incredible to watch them grow and translate their lessons into action especially when they had an in house competition last week. The instructors have all been friendly and really know how to work well with children (esp Prof Alex). Would definitely recommend Aforce for BJJ. They also have multiple locations to choose from and you can attend any academy that works for your schedule.
The professors are simply amazing with the kids! My daughter loves going to train and has developed a passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The facilities are great and safe for kids and they really go above and beyond to make sure each student is recognized and is progressing.

We have tried A-Force at both the Great Neck and Syosset locations. Both locations have great instructor who can really connect with my two energetic boys (ages 5 and 8). Classes and schedules work well for us and its been great meeting other parents in the community.
My 6-year old son has been enrolled in the Syosset location since it opened and he loves it. All the instructors are excellent and are great with my son. In addition to his improvement in jiu-jitsu, he more importantly has also matured and become more disciplined during this past year. Thanks A-Force!
My boys have been at this A-Force in Syosset for about a year now and they love it. The environment is warm and welcoming. All the professors and instructors are amazing! They are patient with all the kids regardless of their skill level, really care about the kids and encourage them to do their best, but also pushing them when they need to. In addition to learning techniques for self defense, fighting, etc. they are also taught discipline, respect, persistence and the list goes on. I see my boys training with A-Force for a long time coming!

Originally we did a trial in their Great Neck location and really liked the professors, but Great Neck was too far for us. When they opened the Syosset school, we were there for their opening day and haven't left. Both my son and daughter attend A-Force. We've tried other BJJ schools and why A-Force was a good fit for us was because of professor Alex and Andre's teaching methods and personalities. The kids have a good time while learning self control and respect. The school is bright, big, and clean. They have an area for siblings to sit and do homework or play. The environment is welcoming for both students and parents. Also they have ample parking. Thank goodness.
