A rare school that teaches not only taekwondo but Hapkido as well! Fair price with daily sessions for the whole family to train in. GrandMaster Steve is knowledgeable and his many years of teaching truly shows.

This place is awesome! Has taught my kid discipline, providing confidence over the years. Master Steve is a wonderful instructor and others that fill in when he is absent. This place is top notch for all ages.

Master Steve is an amazing teacher! They are so kind and patient with the children, after the first class my son was hooked. He has gained so much confidence and social skills from coming here, I would definitely recommend taking classes. They also have so much extra activities for the kids it’s a blessing we found this place.

Champions Martial Arts Center is outstanding. Grand Master Steve Weidenman is one of the most skilled martial artists in the country, but what is exceptional is his ability to teach people of all ages. He varies the classes between traditional skills, forms, self defense, grappling, olympic sparring, point sparring, etc... and keeps his students motivated and excited to learn. Unlike most strip mall studios, the Champions is large and open with plenty of room for training, and an observation deck on the second floor for spectators. Whether you are looking to change your exercise routine, learn self defense, get in shape, learn new skills, or find a new sport for your kids, Champions is worth a try.

I enrolled my 10 yr. old daughter here and liked the class structure so much that I started taking too. It is a very inclusive school, and a family friendly atmosphere. Master Steve tries to make every class a little different, and adds alot of variety from Hapkido, practical self defense, and conditioning. We do not spar every class due to the time limitation, which is probably the only downside, but he compensates with offering a sparring only class on saturday mornings. For one price you can take as many classes of what ever martial arts you want per week, or just come once a week. Up to you. You can go at your pace and don't have to worry about getting knocked out when we do spar, cause it's about learning, practice, and control.

You will not be disappointed whatsoever in Champions Martial Arts Center on 103rd Street and I-69HWY in OP and its owner Grandmaster Steve Widenmann. I know, because my son and I have been going there for over 3 years. He is an 8th degree black belt. You will be lucky to find anyone with that level of training. He is extremely knowledgeable (the BEST in the area for this), very HUMBLE, compassionate,(has two boys of his own) has humor, is family oriented, honest, and above all---- a SUPERB instructor....challenging, (physically and mentally), FLEXIBLE, Affordable CONVENIENT and FUN! What's not to love...???? The only way you will know is to come on in and try it for yourself! And the first class or week is FREE! I cannot say enough amazing things about this place...I am AMAZED not more reviews are on here. Grandmaster Steve is the BEST
