By far the best sport I have enrolled my kids in. They teach discipline, confidence, defending yourself, strength, agility, and respect just to name a few. Prior to enrolling my son into Jujitsu he was shy, did not self advocate, and had no confidence. He has completely made a 180 and is now confident, speaks up for himself, and loves going to class. My daughter is also thriving and has learned so much in this first year. The facility is very clean, the coaches are super positive and encouraging with so much knowledge of jujitsu,. Do your kids a favor and sign them up!

I've been practicing jiu-jitsu out of state for a year or two and signed up to train at CEV for a few weeks while here visiting family. I had a great experience! The staff was welcoming and knew what they were doing. I even managed to pick up a few new techniques to take home with me. I'll definitely train here again the next time I'm in town.
The Coaches here at CEV have influenced and have become a place where my children have felt comfortable to progress through their own learning journey with jujitsu. They have learned discipline throughout the entire course of their time being here along with respect for the art. Their motivation really is influenced by each and every single Coaches ability to engage with the students. Seeing a positive change within my children's transformation and structure even throughout our lives obstacles that we have endured. I would absolutely recommend for your children to try it and see the positive energy for themselves.
The instructors are very nice, help the kids when they see they need more help. They cheer the kids on so much and I love that for them. When my daughter gets sick and misses they will call or text me to check on my daughter and that shows me they really care and that’s awesome. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! I am so happy I decided to sign up my kids to jiu-jitsu class, big part of what makes it so fantastic is the incredible coaching staff. I have nothing but great things to say about CEV. The coaches are positive and encouraging. They push the students to do their best and be their best on and off the mats. They have high expectations for the students and model respect and kindness. The class is structured so the class time is utilized to the fullest. My son loves training at CEV. He holds his head high when he wears his gi and has the utmost respect for the coaches and fellow students. My son is autistic and has ADHD. His coaches are phenomenal at meeting his needs. I would recommend CEV over and over again. To the parents of anyone with young kids I can assure you, your child will be so loved, protected, and safe here. I have never felt so sure about the people around my kids with me not around. They are strong in communication, safety, and respect for your family. My son has learned daily from them and has grown in so many ways. They offer many extra activities, fields trips, pizza parties and much more! The place is also very clean and well kept. We have enjoyed coming here for the last two years and will continue to do so.

CEV is THE BEST! They NEVER GIVE UP! Marshall and his crew are world class. I am a brown belt, moved from Florida to Texas, scouted a few BJJ gyms, and I can certainly say CEV provides the best experience. Jeremiah, Dakota and the other instructors work 1% harder every day to provide everyone their best program. Everyone is super welcoming and made me feel right at home. There is a diverse range of student levels. Good mix of White belts through Black belts; 5 year olds to 40+. There is an uplifting and motivating attitude/atmosphere in the gym. Beginners and experienced jujiteiros will find something to appreciate.

This is a fantastic environment for learning Jiu-Jitsu! I’ve never felt out of place here and have loved watching more people join the adults classes. It’s also a great place for kids to get out of their comfort zone and learn practical skills!
I started training here almost a year ago, and already I have found a second family. I don't feel like I am just a student. I feel as though I am a part of something bigger than myself. This school was my very first choice as far as a martial arts school, especially going in fresh, having never trained before. And I couldn't have made a better choice! Great place for BJJ and MMA training. Family enviroment. Great for your kids and even great for us older guys who want to keep fit. I love that I am able to train with my daughter everynight. It gives us some time to do something together that we both love. If your looking to start a new adventure in life or build on what you already know the leadership here will teach you at any level.

I can not rave enough about CEV! In my opinion there is no better review than sharing your experience, there are just not enough words to express my gratitude to the CEV Family. So I apologize in advanced for this long review. So both Dad and I work all day & We didn’t want our son to spend another summer stuck inside on his phone, eating junk and just over all being lazy. So we decided to enroll our son in their fantastic Summer Camp this past summer…. Best decision I have ever made. I chose CEV because it was close to home, perfect hours for working parents, great reviews and over all seemed like a great fit for my son. We scheduled a phone call to get a better understanding and an over all feel of the leaders at this establishment. After speaking to the owner coach Marshall I knew it was the right fit. Not only did he tell me about the great stuff they have like another “salesman”but he specifically asked me questions about my sons personality and what my expectations where out of the program… I thought this was fantastic and was sold, to me it showed characteristics of great leadership in my opinion. We were ready for the first day, we were all excited and nervous at the same time as this was the first time I had ever let anyone outside my family watch my son. That’s where I met coach Yousef and coach Katlin, they greeted me and my son with the biggest smile and good morning you could possibly imagine, they even still greets us the same way til this day. Coach Yousef assured me that my son was in great hands and answered all my question and made it a point to explain to me that no just anyone can check out my son. Which Made me feel at ease. (Big Shout out to coach Yousef & coach Katlin!!) The day i knew my son safety was taken seriously was the 1st time I pick him up, Dad was usually the one picking him up. As I was checking out my son for the day and there was a lot of people coming in and out. My son comes out and we are making our way out through the crowd to leave when Coach Dakota politely stops me, introduces himself and starts questioning who I am since this had been the first time I had ever picked up my son. I kindly tell him who I am and explained that it was my first time picking him up and I followed the pick up procedure with coach Yousef, he looks at Coach Yousef and nods and signals the Okay to coach Dakota, Coach Dakota proceeds to tell us bye and how he can’t wait to see us tomorrow. That day I walked out of CEV with a different piece of mind knowing my son was truly safe. A huge thank you to all the coaches during summer camp that had a great impact to my sons summer. It went so well in enrolled him in their after school and training program. My son is now a white belt with 4 stripes. We are about 6-7months with CEV and we just love it. Professor Jeremiah is astounding at teaching and guiding in the art of BJJ, he is able to connect and establish a trustworthy relationship in every age group of his students and even greets them and speaks to them by their name (which is a lot to remember). He consistently expresses his leadership by showing integrity, accountability, empathy, passion, courage and much much more. All Great qualities any parent would want their child to build. I am forever thankful and appreciative to all the coaches and Professor for all your invested time. I can only imagine how much sacrifice y’all to had to give in order to build a cohesive team/family. It makes me trust the process even more!! My son to this day can not tell me he has a favorite coach because he loves them all the same. Thank you CEV for your exceptional Team; highly recommended!! Hard work pays off!
My son has gone here for over a year now for after school care and summer camps. I can not speak highly enough of the program Coach Marshall and his crew are running here. My son has grown so much in a year with his confidence and focus. He looks forward to spending time with the coaches and they not only keep them busy but teach them fundamental life skills. I joined Cev on July 11th, 2019. That was the day my life was never the same. Since joining I have grown so much as a person and martial artist. My son joined the CEV team alittle over 2 years ago. What a blessing this has been. Our shy, quiet 6 year old has evolved tremendously. My son has always been an introvert and shy. He started Jui-Jitsu at CEV in June of 2019, and his confidence has benefited greatly. The coaches are amazing. They train the students in a positive way by acknowledging and celebrating successes. They know how to give feedback on moves in a way that builds the students up. After watching how much my son loved the program, my oldest daughter also wanted to sign up. This is an amazing well rounded program suitable for boys, girls, and young students through adult. We love being apart of the CEV family.
My son goes here and they have done great with him. He is very shy and quiet and doesn't like to try new things, but coaches Jeremiah and Dakota have broken him in and made him feel comfortable. If he has trouble with something they will stop and show him how to do it correctly one on one. The owner Marshall, though, he is so personable... he shows passion for the kids, and is very dedicated to CEV. He, his coaches and his family make this a very family oriented place.

We've been a part of the CEV family for over a year now. Both of my sons (5 & 10 year olds) and I take Brazilian Jiu-jitsu classes and absolutely love it! I know this sounds cliche but this place has become more of a home than just a training center.
Excellent family owned and operated after school program and martial arts center. Coach Marshall and family work great with the kids, helping them build confidence and strength. Our kids enjoy going so much we signed up for the summer program as well.
Coming up on a year anniversary with my son joining the CEV team at the end of Nov 2019. Marshall and his team have really taken him to new levels. He started off super excited but lacked a bit of direction. The discipline learned through BJJ has sharpened his laser focus, which is a godsend when he plays his other sports. Not only does he train in the evening classes, he is also a member of CEV’s amazing after-school program where he gets supplemental training to only make him that much better at his skill. If you’re questioning to join, I would have to say just do it. You’re joining a tight group of dedicated parents who love their kids and want nothing but the best from their students!

Been training over a year here. Very welcoming environment. Coaching staff are excellent at holding you accountable to the goals you have set out to accomplish while equipping you with the tools to do so. Great training partners at all levels of Jujitsu from beginners to Professors. Highly recommend anyone who is looking to get active, lose a little weight, or just has a desire for competition.

Right from the beginning entering the place we were greeted professionally, and were acknowledge by the instructors. To me that shows a lot about the place, it felt genuine. Then talking to Marshall he made you feel right at home and felt like I knew him for along time. The reason we came into this place was for day care for my daughter and she loved it great people and great environment.

CEV has been my 7 year old daughters after school getaway for about a year now. She attends class 2-3 times a week. I can’t find more wonderful things to say about the staff, who genuinely invests in your child. They have always been so encouraging to the students in their teaching efforts. They have doubled in class size since we started, which definitely speaks volumes about their program. I highly recommend CEV to anyone considering Jujitsu and MMA. You won’t be disappointed.

Marshall & Ruben are the most welcoming and inspirational coaches to have in any childs life. They have helped work with my kid whom has serious behavioral challenges. They dont make him feel different and never single him out in his meltdowns. They have gained his trust as big brothers and. This place feels like home! My son has really come out of his shell and toughened up a lot since joining CEV last summer (2017). He got his first stripe and recently just moved up to his grey & white belt and enjoys it more and more everyday. Coach Marshall and Coach Rueben are great with the kids. A major plus it’s only a few minutes from the house!!

I have had a very positive experience during my time at CEV, unfortunately I've recently had to move and can no longer attend. But I still feel like I'm apart of the family there. The instruction was topnotch and the workout was always great. Coach Ruben and Marshall were very professional and welcoming and my time there will stay with me the rest of my life. Coaches Ruben and Marshall have treated me like family since Day 1 at CEV. I always had a bit of a martial arts itch that my parents would never let me scratch as a kid, and so I walked in here one day on a whim and found a great environment to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I wanted to supplement my workout routine with something a little more interesting than logging miles on a treadmill, and Coach Ruben has cultivated an atmosphere of fun, respect for your fellow students, and a drive to always get better. Overall it's been an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone looking to get into bjj. Make no mistake, it is an extremely nuanced and complicated martial art, but if you put in the time, you will find it very rewarding (and you might even lose a few pounds along the way).

Love this Place!! When my daughter came to me about a year ago telling me she wanted to do Jiu Jitsu, I thought she was crazy and went in to the consultation a little hesitant but after meeting them and I watched them do class it all eased my mind. My Daughter fell in love and then soon my son wanted to try it out as well and I can now proudly say I am a Proud parent of two CEV students
As a mom I’ve worried about so many things while allowing my child to explore his interests... with this place I can say with complete honesty that I have no worries with leaving him in the care of the CEV coaches and staff... they love each one of the kids and work with the parents to reach goals! I’ve never been more comfortable with a coaching staff as this one, even when comparing it to my own childhood! It’s one of our 2nd homes and we’re proud to be part of the CEV family! I am so thankful we found them! Not only do we feel like we’ve found a place where our son can grow, we found a safe nurturing place where he can be himself and learn wonderful skills that he will carry into adulthood!
CEV Athletics has a strong work ethic emphasizing a fun and positive family atmosphere. The coaches are very encouraging and push you to be the best version of yourself. They help kids build their confidence and character as well as teaching respect and discipline. These days it takes a village to raise our kids and CEV Athletics is making all the difference.
Hands down the best experience I've ever had! I've been going to their adult classes for 6 months now; the coaches live and breath BJJ and know how to transfer their knowledge to the students. I've learned so much, gained lean muscle and lost 17 pounds of fat. I never would have been able to accomplish this without my coaches at CEV. Thank you guys!!!
Marshall and his staff were very welcoming when I came in to inquire about CEV Athletics. The first thing I noticed was the after school program. It was really cute to see the kids "Wrestling" as they called it, but above that I was blown away by the manners and respect that was taught. After that Marshall took the time to get to know me and my fitness goals and we moved on to the complimentary first class. I jumped straight into the warm up and felt like I fit right in with everyone! It was a great and positive atmosphere, with everyone's mindset on getting better and pushing one another. Being someone that has never tried BJJ it can be a little intimidating but right off the bat I felt comfortable and at home. Once the class was over Marshall sat down with me to discuss my options. He took the time to make sure the plan I picked was a good fit and would meet my needs to reach my fitness goals :) I highly recommend CEV Athletics if you or your kids are looking for a new workout home! Great staff and a great group of members!
Marshall and Ruben are some of the most honest and sincere men I know. Their passion for the sport of Juijitsu and teaching Juijitsu to others is unparalleled. These men are great role models for our children and the community. My son has fell in love with the sport and has learned so much from these guys. They've helped build my son's Confidence, Educated him in the sport and the life skills he has learned will help guide him to Victory. (CEV) They treat everyone that walks thru the door like family and I would recommend anyone, child or adult to come try it out.
5 Stars does not do this academy justice. I could go on and on about the facility and all the amenities but the best part is the staff. Coach Marshal has assembled a great team and partner to make his vision come to life while creating leaders in every area thru their love of jiujitsu. Coach Ruben is able to break down difficult positions in a way someone on their 1st day can understand. The Jiu Jitsu pedigree of Coach Ruben will take your jiujitsu or mma game to another level. I highly recommend CEV Athletics .You owe it to yourself to get started and thru the process never forget why you started.
My kids love everything about CEV. As a mother, I love that they try to teach my kids respect, responsibility, and manners as well as Jiu jitsu.
