At Centurion Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Egham, we merge the tradition and values of ancient Roman centurions with the transformative power of jiu-jitsu. A centurion was an elite military leader in the Roman Empire, renowned for their discipline, courage, leadership, and combat skills. These warriors embodied physical and mental strength—qualities that are also fundamental in jiu-jitsu.

I've been training at this gym for a while now, and Eduardo has been a huge part of why I keep showing up. He's a brilliant coach — technical, patient, and genuinely invested in every student's progress, whether you're brand new or years in. He explains techniques clearly, breaks down the details that actually matter, and pushes you hard without ever making you feel out of your depth. The class atmosphere he's built is welcoming and hardworking at the same time, which isn't easy to pull off. If you're thinking about starting BJJ, or looking for a coach who'll actually invest in your development, I can't recommend Eduardo and this gym highly enough.
