I had a very good experience learning to weld here. I started as an amateur who knew basically nothing about TIG welding. Chris and Pete, through their very patient and individualized instruction, managed to get me to a level where I could identify major problems, and safely and competently weld as a hobbyist. Thanks!

Recently went on a Tig welding course at the CBWA. Two of the best instructors I have ever come across. Chris and Pete, great guys, brilliant at teaching, helped me out so much. Guided me through the course, nothing was too much trouble. You won’t go wrong if you decide to go on a course with these two gentlemen, Thanks guys.

I spent a week doing my level 1 tig welding course here recently. I had a great week and learnt an awful lot. Both Chris and Pete were extremely helpful and very friendly. I can’t wait to come back for another week when my company book me in for the level 2 course

Completed a 5 day Introduction to Carpentry course with Arron. Loved every moment of it. Inspired me to do the next course. Would also consider trying other courses. Would highly recommend it.

I had a great experience with CBWA. The training was excellent, and the support throughout the course was outstanding. A special thank you to David Winterburn for always being supportive, professional, and willing to help whenever needed. I'd also like to give a big thanks to Shay, whose teaching style is clear, patient, and easy to understand. He takes the time to explain everything properly, which made learning much easier. As an Asian student, I found the environment very welcoming and supportive. The staff are respectful, approachable, and genuinely want you to succeed. I would highly recommend CBWA to anyone looking to start or progress their career in the electrical industry.

I recently completed a welding course with CBWA and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The course was well organised, hands-on, and provided a great balance of theory and practical training. A special thanks to Chris and Pete, who were outstanding instructors throughout the course. They were knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to take the time to explain techniques and answer questions. Their encouragement and expertise helped build my confidence and improve my welding skills significantly. The training environment was professional, friendly, and welcoming, making it easy to learn and ask for help when needed. I would highly recommend CBWA to anyone looking to learn welding or improve their existing skills. Thanks again to Chris, Pete, and the whole team for a great course!

I'm currently enrolled on the Gold NVQ Electrical evening course and so far it has been fantastic. I have no prior experience in this trade and have been quite nervous. Jack and Malcolm deliver a great course, and quite recently Shay has supported me in his own time to help me pass some exams. They all genuinely care about your progression and support you on your development. I look forward to attending every evening and always come away wanting to know more. The way the training is delivered is engaging, fun and on a level that everyone can enjoy. If anyone is looking to either develop, retrain or change career this is the place to come.

I'm from Colombia and I'm passing through London, and I took the opportunity to take the MIG welding course they offer on weekends. I'm very happy with everything I learned. Paul the instructor, is excellent. He was very patient with me, explaining each step, even using a translator because I don't speak English, but that wasn't a barrier to learning and practicing at my own pace. Thanks to Madison Grace, who guided me every step of the way via email until I completed my registration for this course. I hope to take other courses while I'm in London. Thank you.

Excellent MMA & TIG training – Chris and Peter go above and beyond I trained at CBWA Coventry doing MMA and TIG, and I can honestly say it’s an excellent training centre. The workshop environment is proper, the training is well structured, and everything is focused on real skill-building — not just ticking boxes. What really makes CBWA stand out is the support from the instructors. Chris and Peter are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely devoted to helping you improve. They take the time to demonstrate techniques clearly, watch what you’re doing, and then give practical feedback that actually works. They’re patient, encouraging, and they push you in the right way to reach the standard needed. Because of their guidance, my confidence and consistency improved massively in both MMA and TIG. I’d highly recommend CBWA Coventry to anyone who wants serious training with instructors who truly care about your progress.
