91 Vittoria St, Birmingham B1 3NU, UK
The UK's pioneering centre for Brazilian Capoeira. Based in Birmingham but operating in London, nationally, and internationally.
This is a special place. It is a community that welcomes new people even with no knowledge of capoeira of all ages. You learn the various moves, the songs and make a lot of friends.
Wonderful space and amazing capoeira classes to get into Brazilian culture through movement and music. There's a lovely coffee shop on the side to have a taste of Brazil's best including açaí smoothies and tapioca crepes
A great place to learn about Brazilian culture and Capoeira. I have been training here for a few years and it has truly enriched my life by providing not only a safe space to develop physically, but also mentally and emotionally through music, the Portuguese language, a supportive community, and adult friendships that can be quite hard to come by at this point in life. I would recommend everyone to join in the fun and try Capoeira with Mascote and Joyce!!
Great place and Amazing Teachers. You not only get and learn everything about the Capoeira but also meet a lot of new friends from different cultures, countries, etc... This is exactly CDOB. Highly recommended to come and try, you never know, it could be your new passion forever.
Amazing place! Amazing people! Amazing teachers! Capoeira changed my life and I'm sure it will also change yours. So do not wait, just try it! Super positive energy!
Good, highly skilled capoeira teachers, friendly and welcoming community. Studio itself is good quality, safe to train barefoot. You will learn about capoeira, music, its history and Brazilian culture.
