My kids have trained with Castle Rock Martial Arts and Master Scott for a couple years now. He does a great job of creating an environment of learning, mutual respect, building of self-confidence, to help his students grow as individuals.
Posted 1 year agoMy son was a member of CRMA for several years and he gained a lot of confidence! He absolutely loved going here and unfortunately due to other obligations has not been able to continue now that he is in middle school. He will absolutely return here if he able to in the future. The instructors and rest of the staff and amazing! I highly recommend CRMA to anyone!
Posted 1 year agoWe have been members of Castle Rock Martial Arts for 8 years and have loved every minute of it! I have seen my son grow and flourish under the instruction and care of the instructors at CRMA. He has not only developed necessary self defense skills but has gained self confidence as well. I have witnessed Master Scott pour into struggling teens with encouragement to help them overcome their situations. What sets CRMA apart from other studios in the sense of family. I have recommended CRMA to friends who have joined and love it as well. I highly recommend CRMA with all my heart! Thank you to all of the instructors at CRMA! Gisella Likens
Posted 2 years agoCRMA has been such a great place for my son to train over the years! He started as a Little Ninja when he was 4 and worked his way up to a green belt. My daughter also trained there and loved the classes. The instructors are amazing! Master Scott is great with all of the kids and provides so much knowledge and expertise! He has been a great role model for our son! They offer a wide variety of classes that fit different schedules throughout the week. We are so happy we found CRMA when we moved to Castle Rock!
Posted 2 years agoMy kids have been coming here for 2 years and we love it. The instructors are great and my kids are learning valuable life lessons in a safe and positive environment.
Posted 2 years agoAn amazing place, owner and staff. My son learned so much discipline and skills. I highly recommend CRMA for kids and adults.
Posted 3 years agoMaster Scott and all the instructors are awesome!! It makes a huge difference when the whole team is on the same level of caring and teaching! They are amazing with kids! They don’t just teach for a job, they teach because they are truly compassionate, caring and truly love what they do because it shows.
Posted 3 years agoLove CRMA. Master Scott is great with kids…all the teachers are very patient and help break it down to help learn how to move and why. Highly recommended.
Posted 3 years agoMaster Scott and the other instructors are incredible with my three young boys. Each child is treated as an individual, and instructors are very good at using names during interactions to make instruction personal. Children (and students in general) learn physical and mental fortitude, self confidence, respect of those aground them, positive peer influence and interaction, and of course martial arts. My boys are also making friends and having fun through the hard work that is required. The staff is also very focused on the community, always trying to promote the feel of a “tribe” instead of just an extra curricular activity. Overall, our experience has exceeded our expectations. We tried CRMA for an intro period, but moved on to other sports. It wasn’t until we came back and committed to a few months that our boys really grew to be part of CRMA family and have excelled ever since. CRMA, thanks for everything you do for your students of all ages!
Posted 3 years agoThis is such a family atmosphere, ALL the instructors are amazing and very passionate and patient with everyone. Master Scott and Mrs. Cheryl (his wife) are awesome people and so caring.
Posted 3 years agoWe love this gym! It is a great mix of self defense, exercise, and good old fashioned fun! The instructors are knowledgeable and patient and have created an environment in which all personality types will thrive.
Posted 4 years agoWe love CRMA school so much we are ok to drive all the way from Parker so our kid can attend classes. Owners, masters and staff are all great!
Posted 4 years agoMy teen daughter and I have been attending Krav classes for about 8 months. Quality professional instructors. Always available to answer questions regarding technique. Good family environment.
Posted 4 years agoMaster Scott is an amazing instructor! This is a great place to learn and everyone is part of the MMA family!!!!
Posted 4 years agoBest martial arts classes in Castle Rock area! Our 5 YO loves it. He learned a lot from the classes, and the most important is how to stay safe.
Posted 4 years agoMy family and I love this place. My 2 boys have been working their way through the Youn Wha program the past 2 years and have enjoyed every bit of it. Their confidence and coordination have improved a lot since joining. After just sitting there watching them for so long, I finally decided I should join too, but signed up with their Gracie Jiu Jitsu classes. This is really fun and a great way to get exercise while learning self defense. Master Scott and all of the instructors are really knowledgeable and helpful. They can help teach the basics as well as advanced forms. If you are looking for a martial Arts studio, look no further. You won't regret it.
Posted 4 years agoMy daughter absolutely loves everything about CRMA! This is their passion - Master Scott and his wife Cheryl and all of the teachers are genuinely committed to the success of each of their students. They go above and beyond each time we come for a class and attend one of their seasonal community events. They know everyone by name, are so encouraging, while challenging students at their appropriate level that we will never leave! lol! It's like one big family! I highly recommend this everything about CRMA!
Posted 4 years agoWe signed my 6 year old daughter, and she loves it! We like the way how they take care and teach. She is going to learn alot, not just the MA but also lot of different values and principles.
Posted 4 years agoMy 8 yo started going to martial arts at CRMA a few months ago and loves it. It's great to see her enthusiasm, growth / learning, and level of engagement. She practices a lot at home and talks about martial arts to all her friends. We can see that she's learning about body control and energy, as well as learning self defense techniques that could really help her in unfortunate circumstances. We love the community at CRMA, the instructors, and the fact you can see the kids learning and growing before your eyes. Highly recommend!!
Posted 4 years agoWe've been regulars at CRMA for just over two years and absolutely love it! The owners and staff are welcoming, personable, and provide superb instruction for a wide variety of material. If you're interested in martial arts - at any level - this is the place to go!
Posted 4 years agoWe love CRMA! Our son is really thriving there. It’s a great family environment. Master Scott is really great with the kids. We highly recommend!
Posted 4 years agoAwesome! My kids have been attending about 18 months. It is a great place for kids to build confidence, learn discipline and respect, and get a great workout in while having fun. My daughter actually stood up to an older boy at a Halloween party that being rude to her friend.
Posted 4 years agoAfter training off and on for over 20 years, I'm super picky about where I train. I've trained in many schools and settled on one before I moved to Colorado where I was then left with wondering if I would ever find a school that comes close to where I trained before. Castle Rock Martial Arts does NOT disappoint! I am ever grateful for this school. They offer a well-rounded program and still keep things VERY affordable. I get to train under some of the best people and Master Scott keeps abreast of current techniques and truly has a deep understanding of the Martial Arts. ALL of the instructors here are amazing! Myself as well as my 3 kids train here and they absolutely love it! So, if you're looking for a good school where you and/or your kiddos can train in a fun, safe, life-changing place, CRMA is the place to be!
Posted 4 years agoI started at CRMA about a month ago and I am loving it. The instructors are knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming. Thank you CRMA for starting me on my Jiu Jitsu journey!
Posted 4 years agoWe recommend castle rock martial arts. Great atmosphere, excellent teachers. Very happy.
Posted 4 years agoWe signed my 10 year old son up for youth martial arts because a friend of his was really into it, and it has been a great experience for all of us. For him, the confidence boost from working hard at something and achieving belt levels has been a game changer for his mood day to day. For us, it has been wonderful to watch his development and perseverance in a positive and supportive environment. He’s moving, figuring out what his body and mind are capable of, and making friends along the way.
Posted 4 years agoHands down wonderful place! Excellent with children! The kids always have a great time! I highly recommend CRMA for both children and adults. There are actually a few families that are taking classes together at the same time. Wonderful place!
Posted 4 years agoWe’ve been a part of the CRMA family for 8 years! Amazing leadership, positive discipline, self defense techniques and so much more! Can’t say enough great things about Castle Rock Martial Arts!
Posted 4 years agoThey are wonderful with children and my son absolutely loves it!
Posted 4 years agoBest all around martial arts school anywhere in castle rock!
Posted 4 years agoGood Staff, Everyone is super nice.
Posted 5 years agoOur whole family attends CRMA and love it! We started with just our homeschooled children attending but they loved it so much that we all wanted to give it a try. The staff is fantastic and we look forward to every class.
Posted 5 years agoTop of the line training and an amazingly clean and organized academy. Really happy to be apart of an genuine Bjj academy. Amazing for all levels. The kids programs are a great after school and weekend activity.
Posted 5 years agoMy 4 year old grandson loves it!
Posted 6 years agoMaster Scott and Team helped our son with confidence and believing in himself. Highly recommend this academy for that extra confidence boost and helping to reinforce foundations in respect and leadership.
Posted 6 years agoSpent at least 8 years here. It was my second home. Taught me a well rounded martial arts and always was supportive and helpful. Had so much fun here. Miss it every day!
Posted 6 years agoCRMA is more than a martial arts studio. It is an amazing community where my boys are learning great core values while developing strength inside and out and continue to build martial arts skills and technique. I am so very happy that we stumbled upon this local gem 5 years ago!
Posted 6 years agoOur children now 7 & 9 have been in Martial Arts for about 4 years. After a brief stint at another academy, we chose CRMA. We can not be happier! Master Scott and his staff are amazing at what they do. They know how to tailor training to different age groups and make sure to split up the class accordingly. Where I had experienced a 40 student to 2 instructor ratio elsewhere, CRMA will split the class into 4 or more groups usually with a ratio of around 7 to 1 (max). The cost / benefit is there! My kids love it and are flourishing. Our goals for the children were respect for others, and authority. Self esteem. Bully - proofing. And eventual ability for my (forever to be petite) daughter to be able to take care of herself in her teenage and later years. CRMA is teaching (and bolstering what we do at home) all of these things!
Posted 6 years agoSimply the best! Having trained in other martial arts schools in AZ, TX, and CA, nothing compares to Castle Rock Martial Arts in Castle Rock, CO! First off, Master Scott is the most well rounded instructor I've ever had the privilege of training under, and continues to bring tradition along with new and progressive concepts into CRMA. Along with being an amazing Master instructor, he is also extremely humble and has an amazing way of connecting with his students- regardless of their level, age, or capabilities. There is such a sense of pride and community, along with a family atmosphere that is second to none. In addition to learning something new in each and every class while also honing in on the foundation, the support continues way beyond just learning martial arts. Master Scott, Ms. Cheryl, and all of the instructors bring a different aspect and approach to each class, which provides a unique learning experience while bringing out the best in others. I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to train at CRMA, and my two kids (ages 12 & 8) are also students! I am proud to be a part of the Castle Rock Martial Arts family, and highly recommend CRMA to anyone looking to train in martial arts. Whether you are a beginner or a black belt, whether you are young or “not so young”, or maybe you’ve just watched The Karate Kid so many times that you dream of being the next Daniel LaRusso, come to Castle Rock Martial Arts, and you’ll see for yourself why so many people absolutely LOVE this school!
Posted 6 years agoMy three kids attend classes here. It has been great for boosting their self esteem and sense of responsibility. It has been fun to watch them work together to practice their skills. They also motivate each other to keep up and advance through the belt system.
Posted 6 years agoTI highly recommend this studio. Great for families and they care about the kids!
Posted 6 years agoMy 4 year old loves going to class here. The instructors are all very patient and kind to him. This is a very family friendly place with a room for younger siblings who aren't old enough to join in.
Posted 6 years agoAmazing place to take your child, or yourself! Great instruction, lots of opportunities at various disciplines and Master Scott truly cares about everyone there. Takes the time to help develop not only martial arts techniques and stills, but life skills that will be used for a lifetime.
Posted 6 years agoEvery dojo offers a chance to learn and better yourself, but what sets CRMA apart is the family atmosphere. From the 1st day you will feel like you are part of an amazing community. Little ninjas is an amazing introduction into learning respect for themselves and others around them, all while building a great foundation. Youth classes build on this and help your child learn how to push themself to become their best in the dojo and within the community. The adult classes will push you to test yourself while striving to be the best version of you. I love spending time in a place where everyone respects each other and goes out of their way to help you achieve your goals.
Posted 6 years agoCastle Rock Martial Arts is a fantastic studio. Our daughter has flourished since beginning training 18 months ago. Master Scott and the instructors are encouraging while expecting the best from the students. They gently direct the students to excel. We love the family we have at Castle Rock Martial Arts. From the moment we walked into the door, Master Scott and the instructors have known our names, greeted us warmly, and taken the time to know us individually. This makes the studio much more than a martial arts training studio. It is an extension of our family. Our daughter looks forward to attending classes every week. We cannot recommend Castle Rocks Martial Arts enough for anyone wanting to test the waters of martial arts.
Posted 6 years agoGreat place for all ages teaches kids to be tough and responsible and they have a great time doing it. Highly recommended.
Posted 6 years agoMy oldest son trained with Master Scott and Cheryl when they were just starting years ago. Years later my youngest son has been training for over 2 years and absolutely loves it. They teach and instill good values along with strong training principles. I wouldn’t choose another place to send my family.
Posted 6 years agoSecond year in and still very impressed, our son is excited with every visit. He learns new techniques and grows with each belt promotion. The environment is clean, safe, and dedicated to training properly with an organized pace to serve all levels involved. Amazing instructors, Master Scott and team are on the cutting edge of modern Martial Arts. Family friendly, or for serious training, they have the perfect balance for everyone.
Posted 6 years agoWe love it here! My 8 year old twins go to school with Scott & Cheryl’s son, so we have known them for years. My kids just started in May , but their focus and determination to achieve higher levels is impressive! All the instructors are so patient and helpful.
Posted 6 years agoMy kids have been going now for almost 9 months. They love going. It has helped them with their focus. Love the principles they teach.
Posted 6 years agoWe feel very lucky to be part of the CRMA family. The respect and structure they expect (and provide!) is so impressive, but not surprising, as Master Scott and Ms Cheryl are not only fantastic teachers, but good people, too. The time and attention they give each student is applauded, and their experience and personal accolades speak for themselves! We enjoy going every week and my son is thriving as a student there. Have absolutely recommended CRMA to other people, and will continue to do so.
Posted 6 years agoUpdate: we have been going to this martial arts gym for a year and a half now & still absolutely love the curriculum and the community that has been built between students and teachers. My teenager enjoys being here--which is saying a lot! Thanks for creating such a fantastic environment for families. My daughter LOVES coming here, it's always a challenge cleverly disguised as a good time. I don't have to cajole her into maintaining the commitment she made to attend weekly classes, IN FACT, she often asks to attend extra classes outside from her belt-specific curriculum. Thank you, Master Scott, for creating an environment where my kiddo can blow off some steam while having fun and building a CRMA family to grow with and mature. My family truly appreciates all that y'all do here!
Posted 6 years agoOur family spends more time here than at home on many weekday nights. We couldn't be happier with the experiences and life lessons our kids learn while training here! It's a family experience and atmosphere. They know and genuinely care about each kid in their care. A great sport and studio for building character, confidence and self esteem!
Posted 6 years agoGreat family place lots of kids attend. The master makes it fun for everyone.
Posted 6 years agoGreat family place. Look forward to it every night except first monday of the month when I can't come.
Posted 6 years agoWe've been at CRMA for a few months now and all three of my kids love going. They are not only getting great exercise, they are also learning respect, character and kindness in addition to learning how to defend themselves. Looking forward to many years to come at CRMA!
Posted 6 years agoWe are so glad we signed our son up for little ninjas. They cover discipline, safety, and they work on moves for protection. All these things are super important for a child his age. He has already made a ton of friends in the process.
Posted 6 years agoI started 3+-months ago to take up a new sport after years of Ironman Training and having had a professional coach for two years. I cannot speak more highly of Master Scott and the other Instructors: they take a personal interest in your training and needs. I first took of Krav but felt I needed more technique; I was immediately counseled in a Hybrid Schedule in Youn Wah Taekwondo and Jujutsu: No problem! I highly recommend CRMA.
Posted 6 years agoI attended classes here for about a year. Mostly Krav Maga and Brazilian Jujitsu. Master Scott and the other instructors treated me like family the second I walked through the door. Master Scott and his team provided the perfect environment to instill not only the self defense skills I sought out, but the confidence, discipline, and resilience as well. This studio changed my life for the better, and if I had not moved without hesitation I can say I would be training there to this day. Castle rock martial arts is not just a typical studio, but a true family that is oriented on helping each-other succeed no matter the situation. Words cannot express my gratitude for the opportunity I had to be a part of this establishment for a years time. If you’ve been searching for a studio for some time look no further, this is absolutely it.
Posted 7 years agoCRMA is a great place to train no matter what your goals are. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun to work with. Classes are fun and informative. Whether you want a great workout, to learn valuable skills, or just to meet a ton of awesome people, CRMA is the place to go!
Posted 7 years agoI am so glad we found Castle Rock Martial Arts after looking at various places to do martial arts in the area. The variety of classes and the times they are offered are great for our family. In addition to learning martial arts, Master Scott and the staff do an amazing job teaching respect, discipline and focus. I could go on and on, but my suggestion is that you give them a try and see for yourself!
Posted 7 years agoWe have had our kids in Martial Arts here for 7 years. The instructors here truly care about the students, and provide excellent training in a broad spectrum of martial arts. My daughter earned far more than a Black Belt here, the life lessons and self-discipline reach far beyond martial arts and helped shape who she is today. If you live in Douglas County, this is as good as it gets for a martial arts education center. 5 stars all the way!
Posted 7 years agoCRMA is run by a great family and I have seen a lot of growth in my son that may have not had the greatest confidence or coordination from the start. He was able to try new things that he would not normally have attempted (forward rolls!) and improve mentally and physically because of his practice in martial arts. His favorite is the Kids Krav Maga!
Posted 7 years agoThis place is awesome! My 7yo has been coming here for the last year and a half 4 nights a week and he loves it. Master Scott and Sheryl really do an amazing job with the kids. My son's confidence is through the roof and the discipline he is learning is invaluable. We look forward to training here for years to come.
Posted 7 years agoI am 17, and have been taking krav maga at CRMA for almost two years. This is a fantastic place to learn real world self defense that actually works. You will walk out of this school feeling a lot more confident in yourself and your ability to protect yourself and others when needed.
Posted 7 years agoI started going to CRMA two years ago attending the Krav Maga class when I was 52. Not only has it raised my awareness and ability to defend myself, it has also helped get me into better shape. More important than what I have gained personally is that it has given my teenage son and me something to do together. Three days a week we get to spend great father-son time. I have watched both his character and physical growth up close while going. Thank you to Master Scott, Cheryl and the rest of the staff at CRMA. You guys run a great family place while meeting people where they are. Bruce Church Castle Rock
Posted 7 years agoWe have been coming here for about a year now. We love the instructors and appreciate that there is a homeschool class. Our son is particularly fond of the sparring class. We had tried another studio locally but we enjoy the atmosphere here.
Posted 7 years agoWe love this place! Master Scott was a great find. Both our kids are excelling and go at least 3 times a week. They love it and you will too!
Posted 7 years agoI really love martial arts because all of the instructors are awesome.
Posted 7 years agoI enjoy learning there very much, everyone is super nice and helpful.
Posted 7 years agoWe heard about Castle Rock Martial Arts from a friend and decided to give it a try. After a demo class we ended up signing our son up for little ninjas. It was the BEST decision we could have made. The teachers, the environment and the experience these past few months have been wonderful. The teachers truly care for each student, the environment is welcoming and very clean. The experience is only something you can see for yourself. Our son has dramatically improved in his confidence and character thanks to Master and Mister Scott’s help. Highly recommend Castle Rock Martial Arts.
Posted 7 years agoCRMA is teaching these kids much more then martial arts, and my 6yo is having a blast. The includes a perfect balance of structure and discipline, and fun. The life skills will surely give your child an advantage, and the training principles (be polite, be patient...) work great at home too! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!
Posted 7 years agoAbout a year a go I signed my son up for martial arts here at CRMA. (We thought it would be good for him (he's 11) and help him build his confidence--which it has tremendously.) After a few months of sitting and playing on my phone while I waited for him, I thought hmmm, maybe instead of just sitting here, I should sign up myself. Then I thought, wait, this would be great for the whole family--so I signed us all up! My daughters were reluctant at first (they're teenagers) but now love it. Even my wife loves it. It is a great workout and we love the fact that we do this as a family. You cannot put a price on good QT with the family nowadays... Let me tell you about the place. It is clean, organized, warm, welcoming and friendly--in fact, it's like a family. Master Scott is personable, funny, and really knows his stuff. Not only is he skilled as a martial artist, but he always shares wisdom about life that is applicable for all ages. My kids love him and all the staff. We have met some great friends here. CRMA offers a variety of martial arts training including Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (my sons favorite). The girls in my fam really benefit from the Krav--and after watching some of the Krav training I know I wouldn't want to mess with these folks who know these skills. They can dish out some pain when necessary. If you are thinking about starting martial arts I would strongly encourage you to consider CRMA. It doesn't matter how young or old you are (heck, I am almost 50) this is the place for you--and your fam. -- Noy Sparks
Posted 7 years agoI have been training at CRMA for the past five years, most of that time with my two daughters. This school is legit, and is neither a fight school nor a belt factory. Whether you are into the more traditional martial arts, krav-maga, jiu-jitsu, or whatever - you will find top notch instruction that meets you where you are, and helps to guide you at a very high level through your martial arts journey. The community is genuine, supportive and caring, and all are truly welcomed.
Posted 7 years agoI am 13 years old and have been training at CRMA since I was 6years old. CRMA has been a big part of my growing up, and over the years, the CRMA community has become a sort of family for me. Training there has made me more confident in myself. The instructors there are very kind have found such a school!
Posted 7 years agoMy daughter and I started attending a few months ago and we both love it. Master Scott and the instructors at CRMA are very knowledgeable and provide a great learning experience for the whole family. My daughter definitely looks forward to going every time we get a chance. Thank you to everyone we’ve met at CRMA for making us feel welcome!
Posted 7 years agoI love CRMA I have been doing it for 5 years and have enjoyed every second of It. The community is very welcoming and I love it
Posted 7 years agoWe love doing martial arts here as a family! It has given everyone a great sense of achievement and accomplishment, not to mention all the great life principles that are being re-emphasized here for our children and us. This is a really great group of people and creates a strong sense of community being part of it! And, I love being able to beat up on my husband, lol :-)
Posted 7 years agoCastle Rock Martial Arts is amazing. Master Scott Carrol is great with both kids and adults. My two boys and I have been going for about 8 months and we all love it. My boys especially love the Krav Maga class and have learned so much. I love that it is really like an extended family. Master Scott and all the staff go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable. You can't go wrong with CRMA!
Posted 7 years agoCRMA is the best martial arts school in Douglas County...in Colorado!!! My family trains there 4 times a week. I have seen my son grow these last few years into a leader, teacher, incredibly patient and kind friend (he's only 10). The instructors help all their students really learn and understand the skills and exercises they teach. I have never seen such a community come together as a family and support one another. Its really something special!
Posted 7 years agoCRMA has been a vital part of my life since I started with my son and best friend nearly 6 years ago. I started as a white belt and worked as hard as I could to achieve what I think is my best. I am now 1st Degree Black Belt in Youn Wha Ryu. I was also given the honor of teaching Krav Maga. The skills I have learned have made me who I am today. I could never give enough stars for what I get from this school. Thank you Castle Rock Martial Arts and Scott Carroll for all you do for me and my family.
Posted 7 years agoI have been a student at CRMA for 6 years. I have learned as much in martial arts as I have in school. Be Patient, Be Polite, Be Alert, Be Brave, Do Your Best, Respect Yourself and Others. The instructors are incredible and I have the best time while I am there. I am working on getting my purple belt, I just tested last Saturday and got my 2nd degree blue belt. - Talon age 10
Posted 7 years agoWe love that everyone in our family, from 5 years through teen and adult can train at CRMA. Outstanding program!
Posted 7 years agoWe love Castle Rock Martial Arts. It's a great community of people training together, a good balance of challenge and fun, and a healthy focus on the mental side of martial arts. I would recommend it to anyone.
Posted 7 years agoCRMA is a place like no other. All of the instructors show that they care about the kids and enjoy teaching. Master Scott and Ms. Cheryl are an amazing couple- not only do they do a phenomenal job at running a business, but they really care about their CRMA family on a personal level. We are very blessed to have Castle Rock Martial Arts in our lives. We love it here!
Posted 7 years agoVisited when my grandson Nathan Brittman had his belt testing. I was very impressed with the most honorable way these young men worked to teach and direct these young people in the ways of self defense, self respect and respect for all. It was beautiful to see. I am so pleased my grandson is learning these attributes not only at home but also through this most respected talent. Thank you to the wonderful men who are guiding these future leaders. Bonnie Brittman
Posted 7 years agoSuper great teachers! It was so cool watching my nephew learn how to protect himself! I have to admit, it was pretty inspiring! The amount of respect everyone has for each other is, I feel, is the best part!
Posted 7 years agoMy son (7) has been attending here for a few months now and LOVES it. The games they play are fantastic and build confidence. The instructors are wonderful and engaging. My son wanted to come here mainly for the weapons class and he has enjoyed learning about the history of different martial art weapons and how to use them properly. As a parent I’m grateful he is learning self defense in the Krav Maga class, such an important life skill. We would highly recommend this studio!!
Posted 7 years agoMy son loves going to CRMA! Great staff, teaching my son respect and building his confidence. Very happy with the program.
Posted 7 years agoMaster Scott and his whole team are the real deal. They are wonderful and patient with the kids but have also found the right balance in seriously teaching the relevant skill sets and life lessons. Solid academy that teaches mixed martial arts, encompassing many different styles, focusing on real world applications. A+
Posted 7 years agoOur kids have been attending since last spring and they love it! Master Scott is amazing with kids. I love how he focuses not only on physical skills but also on life skills like respecting yourself and others, being polite, and being patient. All of the instructors that work with the kids are supportive, kind, and build up their confidence. Being a part of this martial arts school (and family) has been a great experience!
Posted 7 years agoGreat family-friendly environment that is always willing to help release your full potential. My son and I both enjoy the wide range of martial arts activities including both the MMA as well as weapons training.
Posted 7 years agoThere could not be a better place to learn all types of martial arts for all ages - from karate, to kick-boxing, to Brazilian jiu-jitsu, to Krav Maga, and more. Master Scott and Miss Cheryl are incredible martial arts teachers and masters, and amazing people as well. Not only will you and your kids learn martial arts skills that help you feel more confident and safe, but leadership and character lessons as well. This is a great gym with outstanding teachers and a strong community of students.
Posted 7 years agoWhen I first moved to Colorado, people said to not tell anyone else because they will also love it and never want to leave. Castle Rock Martial Arts is exactly that, but the amazing, humble and masterful instructors warmly welcome and embrace their growing family! My wife, son and I have attended for nearly 2 years. It is an honor to submit to Master Scott’s and Mrs. Cheryl’s leadership along with the other great instructors who push you and teach you a great variety of practical life skills and expert techniques to help keep you safe and strong and feel confident. It is obvious from the first visit that they love to mentor others and truly care about your success. And we are always learning something new. See you there!
Posted 7 years agoExcellent teachers with extensive knowledge of martial arts. Encourages the kids to do their best and are down to earth and friendly. Our experience has been top notch.
Posted 7 years agoMy son has attend classes here since he was 4. He is now 9. My oldest daughter has been doing classes for almost two years and my youngest daughter just sign up this week. We highly recommend CRMA. Great family atmosphere. Awesome facility.
Posted 7 years agoGreat martial school! My son and daughter has a lot of fun in class while learning self-discipline, respect, self-defense and that hard work pays off!!
Posted 7 years agoAs a Doctor of psychology I am more than impressed with Castke Rock MA. Master Scott has the charisma that is rarely found in many leaders. He not only teaches the children how to protect themselves physically but he teaches values like kindness and respect. This dojang is unique in its ability to welcome families and individuals. My boys have gain a great deal of confidence from this Academy and it has been worth every dollar and moment spent. Doc.
Posted 7 years agoGreat classes. I took karate for 7 years as a young adult and have now signed my family up here. I wanted my girls to learn how to protect themselves and all the instructors do a great job teaching. My daughter and I take jui-jitsu, I take Krav Maga, and my wife and daughters take the traditional class's. My wife was so scared to start and now she loves it and has earned her yellow belt. Come check it out.
Posted 7 years agoI have the honor and privilege to train under Master Scott and his instructors at Castle Rock Martial Arts (CRMA), and now my kids are training there as well! (ages 11 and 7) Through the years, I’ve trained under different instructors and different styles (mainly JKA), and I have never been a part of a martial arts family like we are at CRMA. Master Scott has an amazing balance of understanding his students needs, where our limits are, and how to absolutely bring out the best in everyone that walks into his class. This school is truly built on a passion for martial arts while helping others realize their potential both mentally and physically. Castle Rock Martial Arts is a blend of various martial arts styles, and offers real world applications, self-defense, stranger-danger for kids, Krav Maga, and everything in between. Whether you are a young child (They have a fantastic Little Ninja’s class for ages 4-6), young adult, or just young at heart, they have classes for everyone at every level. I highly recommend Castle Rock Martial Arts (CRMA) with Master Scott, Ms. Cheryl, and the other fantastic instructors as we constantly strive to be better each class and we are always learning something new! #MartialArts #karate #kravmaga #CastleRock #CRMA #BJJ #BlackBelt
