I’ve been visiting this gym whenever I’m in London for work, and it’s always a great place to train. As a black belt who travels a lot, I really appreciate the quality of instruction — clear, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful. Professor Martin runs the room with a calm, welcoming presence and teaches with real attention to detail. The culture on the mats is excellent: friendly, technical, and ego-free. Whether you’re a brand-new beginner, a seasoned competitor, or a visiting traveler like me, you’ll feel right at home. Highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for solid Jiu Jitsu in London.

I visited Martin's class while on vacation since I train at a Carlson-affiliated school, Supreme MMA Oakland. Martin responded with all the necessary details when I filled out the contact form online, class was great, easy to walk to, lots of space, clean mats, everyone was welcoming, and Martin's teaching and demos were really insightful and detailed. It's clear he has a passion for what he does and shares it with everyone. Thank you! Oss!

Hands down the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym in London! I originally joined when I was living in Clapham, but even after moving to Greenwich, I still make the trip across the city just to train here—that's how good it is. Coach Martin is incredibly skilled, patient, and genuinely invested in everyone’s progress. The classes are welcoming, inclusive, and suitable for all levels, from total beginners to seasoned grapplers. Plus, the vibe is always on point with Coach's bangin' playlists keeping the energy high. Cleanliness is top-tier too—Coach runs a tight ship when it comes to hygiene, with spotless mats, loads of space, and excellent equipment. The community here is something special. People support and push each other in the best way, and training here gave me the confidence to compete, which turned out to be both a humbling and really fun experience. Whether you're looking to level up your BJJ, get fitter, or just be part of a solid crew, this place is the real deal.

A great dojo. I really love training there. Since I started Bjj in 2021 it’s my second home. The guys are amazing and friendly, they welcomed me very well, the coach is Lovely and very patient. I really recommend that if you are looking for a place to learn the base of jiu jitsu, with all the respect we deserve, you are definitely choosing a very nice team, you will do very well, and you will certainly not regret this choice.

The classes are insightful and lots of fun, Coach Martin has cultivated a wonderful atmosphere and culture at the club, which made it very welcoming to an absolute beginner such as myself. The group has been particularly helpful and patient helping me find my feet. I have already recommended the group to my family and friends, particularly other women as I've already found it massively empowering and the vibe is so unintimidating and open. I look forward to continuing to train there in the future. P.S. It's so much better than bloody yoga.
