    Fantastic BJJ club with very knowledgeable coaches. Great balance between technique drilling and sparring which is important especially for beginners. I haven’t tried kick boxing and MMA classes but it’s on my list.

    CG Hackney is an outstanding gym. I’ve been training here since early 2025 and the experience has been excellent so far. Spent most of my time with Coaches Nelson and Nick who are highly knowledgeable, and genuinely skilled at what they do. The gym is clean, the vibe among members is great, and the training is top notch. they offer Judo and MMA alongside BJJ. Highly recommend.

    If you're thinking about starting Brazilian Ju Jitsu, I strongly recommend Carlson Gracie Hackney. I have already learnt so much in a short amount of time. I've been taught by both Fabrizio and Nelson and they are both incredibly patient and attentive coaches. The vibe of the gym itself is very friendly and welcoming and my fellow students have also taught me a lot. Thank you!

    Out of all martial arts gyms this is honestly my favourite,I used to commute to west London everyday for training because just couldn’t find anywhere in my local area , thank you Nelson and Fabrizio for opening new gym in East London👊🏼Professional coaches and passionate community I find myself improving and enjoying more every class, excited to grow together with the team! 100% recommend for all levels
