  My whole family loves training at Carlson Gracie Green Valley! It's incredibly family friendly, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes everyone feel like part of the team. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, kind, and truly passionate about what they do.   I have belonged to this gym for a year and a half. Family owned and operated, this is a safe space for families with children. They have classes for all, ages 4+, and they are so welcoming to beginners! My favorite thing about this gym is that they are a safe space for women! They offer weekly women's self defense classes. They encourage and empower women of all ages to become more confident in their strength and abilities, as well as teach techniques that can be helpful to protect yourself from danger.   The instructors at this facility are truly exceptional. I have been undergoing training for approximately a year, and I am extremely satisfied with the quality of instruction. In fact, I was so impressed that I enrolled my daughter when she reached the age of 6, and I have plans to enroll my son here as well when he turns 3. A helpful tip: The 6am classes provide an experience akin to private lessons, offering focused attention and personalized guidance.

  So happy I found this location. Heidi the professor is absolutely amazing. As a jiujitsu beginner I’ve learned so much attending the classes here. She teaches at a perfect pace for me that I’m able to comprehend, and I’ve really gained a lot of confidence in my game.

  Amazing humans run this place, they have changed so many peoples lives including mine. I would always show up to class feeling something and then leave an entire new person. Humbled and grateful for them. I have never done any grappling before I began going about 9 months ago. They taught me with great patience and allowed me to grow and learn at my own pace. Confidence is a by product of this incredible place. The work and the desire for all the students to grow and learn is the real foundation of Carlson Gracie Green Valley. Amazing instructors, amazing students. Awesome time rolling. I recently just moved out of Vegas area. I will greatly miss this place. But more importantly I will miss the people.

  I'd like to express how excellent this gym is. I had thought about joining jiu jitsu for a long time but was hesitate feeling like it's too late of a start for me. After meeting Heidi I decided to try and it's been a great decision. The coaches are excellent to learn from and great fellow students to make it feel like a community. If you are interested I hope you give it a try and find a home at Carlsen Gracie Green Valley.

  I’ve been training under the Carlson Gracie Team banner for awhile now. What started as a group of friends has grown and blossomed over the years. When you train here it’s something special. Egos get left at the door and people are welcomed in. I consider these folks family and that’s what you get. A good core group of people to train with. Bring your kids and then stay for adult class and you’ll feel right at home. It’s not just another gym. It’s a group of great people that genuinely care.

  This gym is AWESOME!!!! My kids have changed so much from when they started to now. Their energy and confidence developed on another level. Not to mention I no longer have to drag them to work out. Also it gives me and kids something to bond over. Heidi takes the time to go over the technique and has attention to detail. The coaches are good and make sure the whole class keeps up.
