I was able to drop in to the open mat at 10th planet today and I had such a great time! The owner, Casey, was helpful in getting me set up and had a very cool vibe. I haven’t to be another gyms open mat in years in fear of getting injured by people I don’t know, but I had great rounds, felt safe to train, everyone was so nice and I made new friends! It was a great reminder as to why we should have open mats and train with other people. I liked the open space facility, it was very clean and also had showers! I hope to be able to visit more in the future! Thank you Casey and 10th planet team! 🤙

I had the pleasure of joining an open mat at 10th Planet Las Vegas (Henderson) during CJI/ADCC weekend. Everyone was super welcoming. There were a ton of others visiting, and all locals and visitors were great to work with (including some ADCC/CJI competitors and UFC fighters). This gym has a lot of space. Mats are super clean. Coach Casey and Coach Andy were super friendly and accommodating and made us root that much harder for Coach Andy in the tournament. Because it was an open mat, I don’t have anything to share on curriculum, but if you’ve been to any 10Ps you know they are always innovative and attentive to details and you’ll learn a ton with lots of friendly beasts. I would assume that’s especially true for a gym run by such reputable coaches as Casey and Andy. They have showers, but I opted to head back to the hotel to shower because of how many people were there for the event. Great experience and absolutely will be back next time I’m in the area. Highly recommended.

I've actually never been to 10th Planet but I've recently been able to train a bit with coach Patrick Hoffman and if he's any indicator of what type of BJJ school this is then I feel inclined to leave a 5 star review where I can. He's an incredible teacher and I'm honestly blown away by his ability to convey important details and improvements to techniques that are both new to me and ones that I'm familiar with. I hope to keep training with Pat as long as possible and if I'm in Vegas I'd love to stop by 10th Planet.

I've been training at 10th Planet for a year now and have finally gotten around to writing this review. I must say, the size and scale of the facility is truly impressive. There's a ton of space, so you never feel like you'll bump/smash into other training partners, and every class felt like an event, with upwards of 30 people of all skill levels coming together to train and grow. The instructors at this gym were second to none, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to each class. Shout out to Coach Casey Halstead and Andy Varela, with so many students of different levels and backgrounds, the energy in the gym was electric. You could feel the excitement and intensity in the air as everyone worked to improve their skills and push each other to new levels. One of the standout features of this gym was the sheer size of the classes. With so many students in each session, the dynamic was unlike any other gym I've trained at. Despite the size of the classes, the instructors were able to give individual attention to each student, helping them to progress and reach their full potential. In conclusion, if you're looking for a top-notch Jiu Jitsu training experience, with spacious facilities, knowledgeable instructors, and a dynamic community of practitioners, then look no further. This gym is a true gem and I can't recommend it enough. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or just starting out, you'll find a welcoming and challenging environment that will help you reach your goals and grow as a practitioner.

Been going to 10P since Feb 2021, and has been hands down the best decision I made for the year. No-Gi all the way. The 3 class times 6am, 11a, 6pm allow for flexibility in a schedule like a signature 10P Rubberguard. Coach Casey and Andy Varela is as legit as it gets, champion caliber instructors right here in the fight Capital of the world. If you're looking for a more Cold Killer competitive champion pace and mentality I highly recommend attending Varela's evening 6pm class.

10th Planet Las Vegas is awesome! I couldn't have asked for a better gym. I joined about six months ago with no background in martial arts and have loved every second of it. Coach Jesy and coach Pat downtown are great dudes and really take the time to make sure you feel comfortable with whatever they're drilling for the night. The culture is awesome too. There are people of all levels in the class and everyone is super helpful teaching what they know and helping you improve along the way. If you're looking for a Jiu Jitsu gym in Las Vegas 10th Planet in DTLV is the way to go!

I’m a 43 year old beginner to jujitsu. I Went to vegas for a business trip and wanted to train while down there. Called the main number and the person who answered was great (maybe his name was Justin?!) … He was a purple belt and ended up meeting with me at the Henderson location to greet me. Very nice of him. The training as expected was top notch!! Coach Casey was awesome to be around and motivated the class to push hard and do our best. Even though I’m not a member of the school I felt like family right away. If I ever return to the vegas area, this is my school to attend !

The instruction you receive is of the highest caliber and a random night of training could easily have some of the best in the business training right along side you. They go out of their way to help pair you with someone who has a similar skill level so that you can continually improve. There are plenty of certified savages in here but without the big egos. I have only been there one time but it was highly recommended by my private coach. I enjoyed the session and felt the leader Anthony (hope I got his name right) was very aware of and caring about the group. I am currently planning to sign up. As far as the only guy to leave a 1 star review don't heed that. He slammed another place just because of 1 phone call lol. Serious grapplers would have shown up and rolled, and I bet he didn'r really roll at 10thP either because no specifics on what happened. I mean like 43 other people gave it a perfect score. That says it all. From what I saw during my visit every effort was made to be safe, including temperature checks for covid. I am vaccinated and looking forward to my training there. Also all the other students seemed respectful and serious, ready to learn.

Las Vegas is one of the absolute best places to live if you want to learn Jiu Jitsu, and 10th Planet Las Vegas is the best in Vegas. Great atmosphere and better people. Coaches that actually care whether you are there and aren’t looking at you as a payment, they all have a team first mentality that translates in a way to make you feel like family. Everyone is humble and helpful while being absolute monsters on the mat. In the previous gyms I’ve been to I saw constant injuries from teammates and here I can truly say that everyone on the mats care about each other in a way that prevents injury. The kids program is also top notch with so many boys and girls having fun and learning the value of hard work and dedication in a healthy and safe environment. Come down and try it out for yourself and you will see why it is worth 5 stars and why we are the best in town.

I began training in mma a year ago and recently found myself wanting to train more in depth in specifically jiu-jitsu. As a female in a very male dominated sport, the idea of walking into a martial arts school for the first time can feel overwhelming. Not at 10th Planet! Right from the start, Coach Casey and his instructors were very welcoming, as were the other members in the class. The level of comradery and support far surpassed my expectations. By my second class, I truly felt I belonged there, regardless of my level of experience, and that level of comfort is necessary to get the most out of my training! I very much feel at home at 10P and look forward to a long partnership with them in my training. I highly recommend 10th Planet, especially to any women who are looking to start training, or increase their current training, in JJ for self defense and/ or competition.

World Class instruction and bumping shoulders with savages I see in UFC, stop by 10th a Planet Las Vegas when you have an opportunity!!!

I had trained before and contemplate training again for a while. I visited a few schools, but none of them really motivated me to take the leap. I randomly stopped by and spoke with Coach Casey and from just chatting with him (no sales pitch given), I said let's do it. I have ZERO regrets. In the past year, I've lost around 40lbs, made a bunch of friends, earned my blue belt and met tons of cool people and visiting instructors. Everyone will roll with you, no matter size, belt level, etc. (which wasn't a norm at my previous schools). I'm constantly getting feedback, I feel like i'm improving, no one is out to hurt me, i'm staying in shape and I'm having a great time. I'm very thankful for having these people in my life.
