My son has been attending Jiu-Jitsu classes here for more than two years now. The coaches are amazing, and the environment is highly supportive. There is a great community of friendly parents as well. Highly recommended!
If you want the latest mats,weights area,air conditioning and all the fancy stuff there are lots of other places that offer that but that’s it. At Carlson Gracie Farnborough your membership pays for the highest level of coaching with so many black belts on the mats and as a competitive club they all have competed to a high level with many competing around the world on the biggest stages and teaching bjj what actually works not only in comps but in self defence with practical day to day use if you are in a job you would need to use it. With so many high quality coaches your not stuck with just one style of training like other gyms and this is crucial imo for all round development. The kids programme is probably the best currently in the uk with the trophies and accolades to back it up. My son also trains here and has learnt so much and confidence to,we both have ADHD so finding the right environment has been crucial. There is classes for everyone here regardless of age,gender or age.
I've been training at Carlson Gracie Farnborough for six years and, having trained at many other Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gyms both locally and around the world, I can confidently say that the coaching here is the best I've experienced. Whether your goal is to compete at a high level, learn self-defence, improve your fitness, or simply enjoy training, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better BJJ gym in the local area. I couldn't recommend Carlson Gracie Farnborough highly enough.
A fantastic family friendly club, wonderful coaches who continue to compete at the top level as well as support and developing others. There are classes available for all ages and levels including women’s only. Not just a great training group but a warm and encouraging community of people.
If you’re thinking about starting jiu-jitsu—or looking for the right place for your kids - i can’t recommend this club highly enough. The coaching, culture, and community are second to none. Probably one of the best clubs in the country.
I’ve had the privilege of training at some of the best gyms in the UK during my jiu jitsu journey and CGF is right up there with the best. From a competitive standpoint there’s black belt coaches competing on a world stage, individuals using their jiu jitsu for MMA and the kids program is the best around. CGF is flourishing in all aspects of jiu jitsu! Great coaches, great team. The perfect place to start your journey!
MY son used to do Jiujitsu in this club. I still recommend it to people. They accept you like a family member in there. Its such a friendly atmoshpere and amazing training sessions. Thanks to Gary and team.

This is an excellent club. Great instructors, really high standard of training and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. There's a great timetable with plenty of classes, that includes boxing and wrestling as well as Gi and no Gi BJJ. The children classes are particularly well run, safe and fun. a very professional, welcoming and well run club.

High quality tuition in a competitive yet informal atmosphere and a real sense of being part of a team. Many higher grades to learn from and excellent kids coaching. The juniors can start from as early as 4 years old with an emphasis on fun through physicality, and they are soon part of a thriving environment with a prolific competition presence. For those who don’t wish to compete, there is no pressure to do so and there is plenty to be said for learning a life skill while getting great exercise.

One of the best places in the UK to train. A large number of Black Belts and higher grades that are always happy to help out and explain techniques or where you are going wrong. The whole team is dedicated to improvement and its a really friendly environment. Highly recommended

Get taugh BJJ by high level black belt coaches who really care. The best team there is around! Welcoming to people of all abilities 'we all started somewhere'. Fantastic kids team with great instructors I've been training here for over 10 years and its changed my life If you are looking to start BJJ, you just found the place!
