  Alan is an insanely kind and patient instructor who welcomed me with open arms in to his gym with zero jiu jitsu experience. He breaks down jiu jitsu technique in an easy to understand way, no matter what kind of learner you are, you will get it if I can. Everyone in the gym is insanely helpful and kind. Truly a home away from home, great family atmosphere. My whole family attends classes at Caridian and we look forward to every class. Jiu jitsu is an amazing workout and very practical self defense that I know I could put to use if I ever needed to.

  Caridian BJJ is more than just a BJJ gym it’s a home and are treated like part of the giant lovable family immediately! Though I just started and life has stopped me from training for a minute I know I am always welcome with open arms! Alan is the most sincere teachers I have ever met and truly cares about each and every one of his students! His end of class picture warms my heart as a memorabilia of what you’ve learned, who you learned it with and the progression of success that you see in yourself! Would recommend for all ages and advices for adults who are nervous to start is to just walk through the door!! Take that first Step!!

  Caridian BJJ is by far the best BJJ academy/lifestyle change in Tampa. Alan and his team of coaches are amazing, extremely knowledgeable, and patient. Both of my sons and myself attend this academy and could not be happier. My kids confidence and skills since joining are incredible. We have only been attending for about 3 months but the journey has been amazing and we could not ask for more. I definitely recommend Caridian BJJ to anyone looking into any martial arts or if you are just looking to start a journey full of health/mental benefits while making lifelong friends.
