I've trained at cardonas BJJ for 5 years. I felt like I belong here since day one. I trained under professor Oscar, professor Claudia Cardona Ibjjf world champion, I tell you my Jiu-jitsu has grown so much, never have i felt disappointed or demotivated in my growth as a Bjj practitioner. The academy has excellent environment, with high level Jiu-jitsu belts on the mats , its healthy and safe place to trained, with professional grade mats that are clean and sanitize. they offer kids programs that my 6 year old daughter started 5 months ago and I can definitely tell you I seen how much she loves it, her Jiu-jitsu has grown and she is excited to attend her classes every week, that tells me the academy is definitely doing something great. Can't wait to see her Jiu-jitsu in a year. Whether you want to trained as a hobby or aimed to become a professional bjj fighter I can definitely see that happening here. Truth be told, I know their son Mateo who is a professional and world champion Jiu-jitsero, who is currently at one of the best BJJ Schools in the USA (AOJ) by the Mendes brothers, knowing his starting point was at Cardonas BJJ is a huge deal for me. With that said, I'll continue my Jiu-jitsu journey and my daughter's and pretty soon, my 2 year old boy's at Cardonas BJJ. OSS!!

My 7 year old boy is attending this academy for a year already and I can see his improvement in many aspects of his life. Everyone there from students to coaches are very friendly and make you feel part of a family. I even started training 6 months ago and it has been one of the best choices I’ve made. 100% recommended!
I’m really happy to be part of this family!!! They don’t just teach bjj, they actually love to coach and make a champions from scratch… any sport is easy, specially martial arts, if you want to push yourself to the limits you must have to try this gym!!! Remember: everything is about us and we will growing stronger as long as we keep pushing ourselves and have people (coaches, trainers, professor) that help us to achieve our goals…

The school was a nice size. It had a breath of experience and everyone had a good vibe. They were aggressive and had a nice style. With me they enjoyed playing spider guard. The professor and the students were all willing to match my pace and allow me to train knowing that I still have to work tomorrow! I highly recommend.
We have been a part of the Cardona BJJ family for a little over a month now. The professors here are patient, kind but firm. Exactly what my hyper 4 year old needs. The foundational knowledge of BJJ and the respect they instill in the kids is priceless.
They are welcoming to everyone and make you feel part of the family right away.
Another plus is the owners/professors are world champions and raised their son to be one as well.

My children have been training at the academy for more than 7 years. They have always felt very good and have been treated very well, with a lot of respect. They are teachers who are very dedicated to what they do. I recommend the academy 100%.
Phenomenal Gym,
The coaches here are top of the line. Not only are they world champion fighters but world champion class of people as well. Ive trained at many Gyms locally and otherwise and this one is the best one I have been to.
These coaches do a fantastic job helping instill discipline and accountability through their teaching and relationships with the students. Remember this is Jiu-jitsu.. not painting class The coaches will push you where you cannot push yourself ,as that is their job, and they do a dang good job at it.

When I was looking for academies to sign my son up to I came across Cardona BJJ and decided to try them out. My son was having some behavioral problems and I figured martial arts would help him with discipline and self defense, without knowing what a positive impact they would have not only on my son but on myself as well. Coming to the academy every days feels like getting home. It is a family environment. Yes the kids are pushed to their limits but at the same time they are encouraged and talked to with love and kindness. My son has a special relationship with each professor as well as with the coaches he’s learned to trust himself more and has started behaving so much better. Anyone can teach Jiu Jitsu but Cardona inspires you to love it!

This jujitsu gym is one of the best Gyms here in the Palm Beach area. Not only is the gym clean & impeccable, it also has very friendly people and the most important thing is that this gym pray to God before and after class.
I highly recommend to every parent that would like to push their kid to be the best version of them self to try out cardonas jiu jitsu ! My two kids husband and i train at this gym we now call family.
I have had a great experience at this gym. My kid learn a lot of good techniques that work well with my style. Professor Oscar takes the time to show you techniques properly. There is a lot of competition in the class and lots of drilling.
I was looking for somewhere to teach my daughter self defense but she has been gaining and learning so much more. Cardona’s giving her confidence, discipline and a great source of support. Thank you for everything!

I signed up my daughter 4 months ago with the intention of her having an entertaining and just a physical activity to practice. This place is awesome!! I have only been there twice but I can tell how good the dojo is. I started going because of my boyfriend and I was nervous at first (I didn’t think jiujitsu was for me) but after the first class I could tell that the instructors are not only skilled practitioners but also patient and dedicated teachers. The sense of camaraderie among fellow students creates a welcoming and supportive environment. The facility is well-maintained and equipped, providing an ideal space for training. I would 100% continue my jujitsu journey here if I wasn’t moving for college!!!!!
This is by far the best dojo in south Florida. The professors care about their students and are always making sure that everyone is pushing their limits. I would 100% recommend going here and can tell you that you wont regret it.
Everyone is super nice, awesome professors, by far best gym in West Palm Beach. I’m sad I am leaving for college but I will definitely be coming back to train some more.
My son started training a little over a year ago. Was looking for a positive and active outlet for him. This was the best decision I have ever made for my son! He has become more confident, healthier, and strong mentally and physically. Cardona’s welcomed him with open arms, with the best professors, coaches, and training partners that push him every day to become better on and off the mats! This is definitely our second home and family!
My husband and I have been training here for years now. I invite everyone train here. This is the best lifestyle to live. I’ve never felt more disciplined and in shape. The professors and coaches will always push you to the highest standard and push your limits to become better. They also have fun and interactive events all the time for all level and age students.
Been coming here for 3 years, excellent environment for anyone whose serious about training. Facility is fairly new and always kept clean. They also teach muay thai monday, wednesdays and fridays. Highly recommend 👌

I've known Professor Claudia since middle school and gave BJJ a try just recently. This gym has exceeded expectations. The gym is very clean, consistently being cleaned in between classes. They are very professional and have various belts and they all are very unique, teaching you and helping you train at many levels. You will leave class knowing something, and it will translate into your every day life. 10/10 give BJJ a try at Cardona's.
Writing this review coming up on my 6 month mark for reference. I have had a great experience so far in my time at the academy. When I started everyone was very welcoming and willing to help me during class. For those of you nervous to start your BJJ journey, rest assured that you will not be thrown to the wolves here. Picking a BJJ gym is difficult for someone with no knowledge of the sport. Fortunately this academy has a lot of the things that you may not pick up on when you are looking around at different gyms. For starters there is a wide variety of training partners. Big, small, young, old etc. Having a diverse pool of training partners is very important to ones progress. The other area where this is important is belt level. There are a wide variety of belt levels that will help you test your progress. It has been a wonderful experience getting to roll with black belts as a new white belt just to see how much there is to learn. There are also additional classes you can attend should you want to compete and push yourself. Another aspect that is important is cleanliness of the gym. This is taken very seriously and it is very much appreciated. BJJ can get gross and sweaty and you want to have clean mats to be able to roll on. The last thing I will mention is that there is a great balance of men and women at the gym. A sign of a good academy is a strong female presence and this academy has that.
The Cardona’s are amazing people that really do care about their pupils and believe in what they do. It has a family environment vibe while staying dedicated to the art form.

World class, top of the line Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The training methods and training partners allow you to become a world champion, or learn at your own pace and be as good as you want. The lessons and training on the mat make me a better person and more confident in every area of my life outside of the gym. Professor Oscar and Claudia Cardona treat each student like family. Great for all ages and skill levels. I'm glad I joined.
The environment at Cardonas BJJ is mass, is top, é bom demais, it's the number 1, the professor Oscar is very good, technical, good at explaining BJJ moves, you will feel like family. Everyone is welcome, whether you are training to be a champion or training for recreational purposes. It's the best place for kids learning discipline, respect, and values and principles.

This is an awesome jiujitsu school. My two boys, 6 and almost 3 years old, go here. I have seen such a great improvement in their everyday lives because of the skills they teach them. The coaches are patient, and I'm surprised they can actually get my little one to participate. The family environment is great, and my sons love the cardonas and all the coaches. They never want to miss jiujitsu. Thank you for everything you do!
This is the best jiujitsu academy around. Not only that, they treat everyone like family. It is a big family. Signing up my kids here, and even myself, has been the best decision ever. As a mother I love the dedication they put into teaching the kids self-defense, respect, patience, commitment, and many other necessary skills to be successful in life. My kids love going there, and the satisfaction I feel seeing the Cardonas, and the rest of the coaches putting so much effort into these kids is unexplainable. Even the older kids help the younger kids with so much compassion and dedication. That tells you how well they prepare these children for the future. As a student myself, I love what I learn everyday. Bjj has become a passion because of them and I love how much encouragement they give to their students. I am forever thankful!

I found out about Cardona's bjj though my brother who is in it and as well as my nieces, it’s a great environment to be in, as well very respectful and they are very welcoming. I can see my self learning a lot here as time passes.

Was in town on business and asked to drop in on a Friday AM class. Very welcoming group. Got in some great drilling time and even squeezed in a quick roll. Wish I was in town longer. Really a great gym with good, nice people.
I have been training for about 4 months here and it's the best decision I have made in years. The gym is not just a gym. Professor runs the school like a family. Everyone is friendly and respectful and when I train I can really tell there is serious knowledge to absorb here. The best part is that they have classes available almost every single day of the week!

Honestly wow. I used to train here and I got tired of the yelling and bullying of the gym. At first they seem all nice hearted, but as time goes on you’ll get to know the double face of the proffesors. Don’t train here you are going to join a cult involuntarily.
One star to their customer service. My daughter went once to a class and my husband went twice and they didn’t like it (martial arts is not for everyone). My husband asked for a refund but the owners said that it was paid for and they refused to refund him. I think this is unfair and frustrating to lose money that way. If you decide to go to this place ask for a tryout class instead of paying ahead for something that you might not like.
I feel so sorry for my dad,me and my dad wanted to try out something new so we tried this place and i didnt really like it so he went back to go get a refund but insted of returning his mony he ended up wasting around 300$that is just unfair.
Unfortunately for my daughter and I didn't work, the place and the professors are very good.
But I don't think that it's fair that after 1 class for my daughter a 2 of mine they won't refund any of my $200 deposit, on top of that they hand me a Kimono for another $100 that I never used, that now I have to wait for them to sell that in order to give me my money back. Well if you see this review you can keep my Kimono and my money.
