Excellent school for jiu jitsu. My son started in January and loves going there, whether for his weekly classes or holiday camp. The coaching team is great the children get into sparring straight away, in a fun way

CWBJJ provides an exceptional environment for learning and practicing BJJ. At it's heart, camaraderie and collaborative spirit underpins a culture of safety, support and fun and naturally promotes the pursuit of excellence. The coaches are wonderful, the classes are well-designed, and with an absolutely stellar community of thoughtful, kind and disciplined BJJ practitioners, this is a brilliant place to learn or practice at any level. I wholeheartedly recommend CWBJJ!

I started 3 moths ago, and I can say I found it a wonferful place to begin with. They explain, and exercesis the techiniques daily. A place where you can laugh and enjoy the class while at the same time we put efforts to put in practice the techniques. 100% reccomend it if you are planning BJJ 💯

I’ve been here for over a year now, can’t deny it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made financially, physically, mentally and socially. It’s such a lovely camaraderie, I’ve made some great friends here. Another thing I’ve also loved about being here is the stress on inclusion. João and the other coaches are genuinely lovely people and keep making sure no one feels uncomfortable or out of place - irrespective of their gender, race or whatever really. I’m grateful for this gym. It’s saved my life. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a supportive community!

I have been training here for months now. It may not be the cheapest option where you can learn jiu jitsu in London, but you will learn through a structured process and there is a big emphasis on safety. There are many classes each day including gi and no go but most importantly nice people and approachable coaches. You can always ask your questions and will get an answer. I can only recommend!

As a complete newbie to Brazilian jiu jitsu, I couldn’t wish for a better environment to learn than the Canary Wharf BJJ gym. All the instructors are so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable, and there’s a real community vibe to the gym. I was really impressed on my initial visits that João (who runs the gym) immediately remembered my name! There’s a real sense of togetherness amongst all the trainees too, and I’ve made some great friends along the way. The organisation of classes and timetables is top notch, with a focussed position of the week each week, and plenty of slots from morning to evening, there’s always at least 2/3 classes a week I can attend. Over my first year training I’ve already seen a noticeable improvement in my skills, and I would recommend CWBJJ to anyone interested in learning BJJ at any level.
