Professor Campello is Methodical, considerate and explains technique in a gifted way. The gym is a great environment to hone your craft and relish in good vibes and improvement!
Campello Jiu Jitsu is incredible! I have two boys that have been coming here for years and he does so great with them. The class is a tight knit group that really gets to know each other well, which I love. Leo Campello is a wonderful teacher that makes it fun while they learn. My boys have gained so much confidence since starting, I could not recommend it more. 5 stars for sure!
My son (7 years old) has been training at Campello Jiu Jitsu for some time now. When he started out he was pretty timid. I have watched my son not only enjoy rolling with the other students but his self confidence has sky rocketed! Professor Leo has played an essential role in Levi’s growth. He is very involved and will take time to provide individual assistance to kiddos that need it. Levi’s turning into a little man. I’m excited to see him continue to improve.
Great school with great people and instructors!
Seriously a really good gym I recommend everyone should try it ! Kids an adults love all the instructors
Regardless of your age, gender, goals or experience level, Campello Jiu Jitsu is an excellent place to train. Class sizes are comfortable with a good mix of all belt levels. With almost half a century of experience between the two of them, learning from Professor Leo and Professor Scott can’t be beat. It’s one thing to have knowledge, but the ability to humbly teach and transfer that knowledge to others is special, and these two will change your life!
Dropped in for an open mat and noon class while in town for business. I drop in to a lot of places when I travel, and I have to say that the skill level of the crew here is on par or better than any other spot I’ve visited. Professors Leo and Scott have their guys trained up well. Although they don’t have a lot of students compared to some of the bigger gyms in bigger cities, their noon class is well attended, and they have a lot of colored belts that feel every bit of their belt level. If you’re looking for a place to train in Coeur D’Alene, I would definitely recommend Campello Jiu Jitsu.
If your looking for world class Brazilian jiu-jitsu training, Campello jiu-jitsu is the place! Professor Leo has the skills and knowledge that will elevate your game whether beginner or advanced. North Idaho is lucky to have Leo Campello here to share his life's work and knowledge of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
Dropped in for a class, well traveling. Great crew! Very welcoming.
Owner and 4th Degree Black Belt Professor Leo Campello is absolutely exceptional. He has trained in Brazilian JiuJitsu going on 30 years now. This is a family oriented gym. I train here every week as well as my 2 daughters whom are 11 and 10 years old. The culture here is phenomenal. Professor Leo not only teaches my daughters the beautiful art of JiuJitsu, but also teaches them self defense skills for off the mat. Professor Leo teaches a way of life that my girls will eventually take with them as they grow into teenagers and on to adults. Professor Leo is dedicated to teaching the rich history of JiuJitsu and my family is thankful to have found this place in our town of Coeur d’ Alene. I highly recommend this gym!!!
Great place to train. Professor Leo Campello is a 4th degree black belt in Brazilian JIU JITSU. Excellent fundamentals taught in a family friendly environment. No ego’s. Come and try a class and see what it is all about.
