  Great place if your are looking to learn self defense and to get in shape. The training environment is clean and safe and the people who go there are pleasant and friendly. Professor Albert Alvorado is the owner and main instructor of the academy. He received his black belt from Master Caique Elias who received his black belt from Grand Master Helio Gracie who was one of the founder of BJJ. If you go train there you will learn from the source. Professor Albert also practices judo (brown belt) and teaches private classes. There is also a kids class that helps children protect them self from being bullied what i highly recomend. If you are thinking of trying it out there is usually some sort of a deal such as a trial period for the first month. Regarding my self I trained here for 3 years while I went to Cal Poly Pomona. I have defended my self in 2 fights so far, I prevented1 serious injury from a fall and have saved 2 people from potential concussions when they were about to fall badly.

  My son and I both train here and have been with Professor Albert Alvarado for years. He is a fantastic instructor and really fosters a positive learning environment. I would and have recommended him to my friends and family. A great place to train.

  i highly recommend caique jiu-jitsu walnut. prof. albert holds true to the teachings of helio gracie and master caique elias. jiu-jitsu must be taught as a martial art. its primary focus should be self defense. Prof. Albert does that and he will also show you how to be successful in sport jiu-jitsu tournaments. the bjj community is being saturated with mcdojos and academies where their only focus is medals instead of life preservation. caique jj walnut will never have a watered down bjj curriculum, only an efficient jiu-jitsu curriculum that may one day, save your life.
