Attending the Caio Terra Academy has been a transformative experience. The instructors are not only highly skilled but also create a welcoming and respectful atmosphere for students of all levels. The training is both rigorous and rewarding, showing me that technique and the discipline needed to improve technique is so important. There is a lot of camaraderie among members. Everyone seems to be there to learn and to help each other succeed. I definitely recommend them. Caio Terra Academy is the place to be.

Professor Vu is a great instructor! The atmosphere in this gym is exactly what you want in a BJJ gym: warm, welcoming, and family friendly. I stopped by to train while in town and was treated like family.

Caio Terra Association has brought great joy to me in many ways. At first, I thought that I wanted to try something new because I was constantly getting bullied. But now that I have been training for 3 years. I have realized how much this association has taught me. It has taught me respect, discipline, patients, thinking before doing things, and most importantly, being humble. Not only has this association brought me great joy and skill, but it has also been a great family to me. If you don’t feel you belong, getting bullied, wanting to try something new, come to Caio Terra alexandria Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! 01 team Family! -Connor Kim

I joined Caio Terra Academy in May 2024 as a new white belt with no prior experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. From day one, I've been impressed by the welcoming and supportive atmosphere at this gym. Coach/Professor Vu is an exceptional teacher who excels at breaking down techniques in a way that's easy for beginners to understand. His clear explanations and patient approach have been instrumental in my progress. What truly sets this academy apart is the family-like environment. The sense of community here is strong, making every training session feel like home. Whether you're a complete novice or an experienced practitioner, you'll find a place here. If you're interested in starting your BJJ journey or looking for a new gym, I highly recommend stopping by Caio Terra Academy. The combination of expert instruction, supportive community, and welcoming atmosphere makes it an ideal place to learn and grow in this martial art.

We’ve been training at Caio Terra Jiu Jitsu in Alexandria for about a year now, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! Our 9-year-old son has learned so much both on and off the mat. The teaching style here is exceptional—Professor Vu, his wife, Coach Grant, Coach Anthony and assistants all create an environment that fosters growth, respect, and discipline. We like the emphasis on solid techniques and the fact that belts are earned through skill, not just given out. It’s clear that this school is family-run and everyone genuinely cares about the students, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Our son has enjoyed here, and we are excited to continue our Jiu Jitsu journey with such amazing coaches who go above and beyond for their students. Highly recommend!

Don’t wait any longer! Take the plunge. Our 6 year old has been coming for 15 months and just competed for the first time over the weekend and had 3 submissions. If It wasn’t for the coaches and teammates we would not be where we are today. Truly a family here. We are so thankful to be with this academy as they are the epitome of hard work and discipline along with a little play ;)

I honestly can't say enough good things about Caio Terra Academy - Alexandria. The family atmosphere is amazing--we are all at different points on our BJJ journeys, but all on the same team. Coach Vu fosters that environment, and it is felt in every aspect of training. Since I started training there, CTA Alexandria has gone from being a place I go simply to learn and get in a good workout to a place I go to see friends, to decompress, and to gain life perspective. I can truly say it has made me a better person. And it's for absolutely everyone. I've played sports my entire life, but I am not a natural athlete. Nothing athletic has ever come easily to me--BJJ most certainly doesn't. But that's the beautiful thing about CTA-Alexandria. Coach Vu shows that yes, BJJ really is for everyone...even an athletically challenged 40+ year old with zero experience. 🙂 If you're considering trying out BJJ, you absolutely can't go wrong here. Can't make it in the evenings? No problem, the class schedule is amazingly accessible--there are early morning and lunch classes! Come check out a trial class and take that first step onto the mat. It may very well change your life! ***UPDATE 01/29/2025*** It’s been two years since my initial review, and I felt it was time for an update. Simply put, CTA Alexandria remains an absolutely fantastic place to train, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Over the past 2.5 years, my time here has helped me grow—not just in BJJ knowledge, but as a person. Training at CTA Alexandria has improved my physical and mental health in ways I never expected. But what truly sets this academy apart is the sense of family. It’s not just a place to train; it’s a place where you’re supported, challenged, and encouraged every step of the way. I experienced this firsthand last year when I was sidelined for several months due to an injury (NOT from BJJ), surgery, and rehab. Being unable to train was incredibly frustrating, but the calls, messages, and support from my CTA Alexandria family made all the difference. That kind of community is rare, and it’s something I’ll always be grateful for. Look, BJJ isn’t easy. It’s physically and mentally demanding. But if I can do it, anyone can. 🙂 And if you’re looking for a place to start your journey or continue improving, there’s no better place than CTA Alexandria. Step onto the mat—you won’t regret it.

It’s a joy to see how Jiu-Jitsu has positively impacted my daughters confidence and bravery! The environment at Caio Terra Academy has been a great fit for her. Over time, the skills she’s learned, both physically and mentally, will continue to build her resilience and self-assurance. It is so rewarding to witness her growth! -We absolutely love this family-oriented academy! It’s been an incredible experience watching Coach Vu and the assistants engage with the kids. (A special shoutout to Jr Coach Anthony and Jr Coach Ava) They have such a wonderful way of connecting with all the littles, creating a positive and encouraging environment. My husband and I highly recommend this academy for anyone looking for a supportive and nurturing place for their children to grow.

This jiu jitsu gym is amazing. All belts have a profound respect for the culture of technique over brute strength. Everyone is ready and willing to learn and grow together. Family oriented. I roll here as do three of my kids. The others will join once they are old enough! Fortunate to have found this gym 🙏

Caio Terra Academy in Alexandria is amazing! All of my kids have trained here, Coach Vu and his family and staff are knowledgeable, patient and committed to teaching Brazilian jiu jitsu in a safe and challenging environment. Tournament days are exciting. The kids from CTA love to compete and are always eager to support their teammates during matches by coaching, cheering them on or cheering them up. I would absolutely recommend this academy to anyone interested in learning jiu jitsu.

My son joined Caio Terra BJJ Alexandria 6 months ago. In that time he has gained BJJ technical skills, confidence in himself and a passion for martial arts that I have never seen before. Huge credit to Coach Vu and his staff for preparing my son in Jiu Jitsu and life. Teaching him skills to overcome adversity has helped him as a student in Jiu Jitsu, but has really transformed his character. Can’t thank Caio Terra BJJ Alexandria enough for the excellent BJJ training they have provided in such a short time.

“My 6-year-old son has been training at the academy CTA for only 8 months, and we are amazed at how much confidence and discipline he has gained in such a short time. The support and dedication from his coach and the entire team have been truly exceptional. We are grateful for the guidance, patience, and encouragement he receives at every step of his journey. As a bonus, he competed in his very first jiu-jitsu tournament and, to our surprise, won second place! But more than the medal, we value the skills and self-belief that he has developed through this experience. Thank you to the academy and his coach for making this possible!” Jennifer Castro Matias Aguilar Mom’s

For anyone thinking about training BJJ in the DMV area or looking to stop in, this place is for you. The environment of people is so diverse, it’s hard to not to feel accepted and safe here. As a newcomer to the art, everyone I trained with was always helpful and rolled safely. You get in great shape while training too! My son is very shy, and we’ve tried many sports with him, but Caio Terra Academy of Alexandria is the first place where he genuinely looks forward to practice. The staff did an amazing job integrating him into the class and keeping him engaged. The coaches strike a perfect balance between maintaining the discipline structure of martial arts and creating a low-pressure environment where kids can learn and have fun. Plus, being an IBJJF-registered academy ensures high-quality training. Highly recommend for anyone looking to start or continue their Jiu-Jitsu journey!

They work in a fun and encouraging environment, which keeps my son excited and eager to attend every lesson. I’d also like to give special appreciation to Junior Coach Grant, whom my son really looks up to. My son started with Caio Terra after a poor experience at another jujitsu class/facility. Coach Vu was welcoming and found the right place for him to explore his interest in jujitsu. The community and instruction at Caio Terra built his skills, confidence and gave him the grace to grow (which can often be hard for a teenager). Thank you Coach Vu for being an exceptional individual!

I have trained at Caio Terra Academy Alexandria for three years now. Whether you be a hobbyist or a competitor; Professor Vu is always there to accommodate his students. All classes focus on technique and safety, with plenty of options including morning, afternoon, and evening classes. When you become a part of CTA they become your family, as they did for me. Never did I ever believe that Bjj would become part of my everyday life like it is today (Or that I would be a coach for that matter). I say this because I’ve always been a shy, introverted person. For a long time I thought I had to push people away in order to be successful. If it wasn’t for God and the people here, I would have never gotten past that pride. I am so grateful and blessed to be a part of this academy and I wouldn’t have it any other way. A big thanks to all my coaches and teammates who have helped me get this far, and I pray that we can continue to build one another up for many years to come. Oss - Antony

Every journey begins with taking the first step, and my first step was to get on the mats at CTA. That choice changed my life forever. I will be completely honest- I was nervous. Am I too old for this? Am I athletic enough for this? Do I have the skills required? The short answer: I am proof that if you put your mind to it and promise to give your all, Professor Vu (and the other amazing coaches) will give you the motivation and skills to conquer any obstacle that life throws at you. BJJ is a life skill that extends far beyond the mats. When my whole family joined me to train here it only solidified the incredible benefits of BJJ. Sharing the journey with them has strengthened our bond. I am honored to be apart of the CTA family. CTA is our home away from home. -Kyle Carraher

My daughter has attended two other martial arts schools in the area and this one is by far the best. The coaches work well with children of all ages. The older, more advanced students are taught to encourage and support the younger, less experienced students. All of the children are taught to use their skills and abilities defensively outside of the facility. The environment is welcoming, focused and professional. I have two children enrolled, and there are enough students for each of them to train with a variety of kids at various skill levels each evening. The kids and I recommend this school.

“Americana” “side control” “bow & arrow choke” “arm bar” If you understood what those things are- this is the place for you! If you didn’t understand what those things are- this is the place for you! Caio Terra has been one of the most amazing discoveries my family has made since PCSing to the area. My husband began his BJJ journey here well over a year ago and the instruction he received was so fantastic, he enrolled our two young children, and then I quickly followed suit (which is crazy because I’m a MASSIVE introvert- but there’s an amazing group of gals, including moms, that show up to roll all the time!). The environment itself is unlike any other gym we have been to- Everyone is so encouraging and the community is uplifting. Every single coach has been amazing (which seems crazy to say, but it’s true). When I say this has been a life changing experience, I wholeheartedly believe it. Massive thanks to CTA for the instruction, the kindness, and the creation of a community that is genuine and compassionate.

The discovery and discipline in a fun learning environment has been amazing. our son is excited to come to class and had even expressed interest in add more skills classes and possibly competitive BJJ. we watched him grow and develop stronger communication and listen skills. Life long skills that he will need for the rest of his life. He wants to learn more and Caio Terra Academy is the best we've been to. This is our BJJ home now. The perfect academy for adults and children alike to immerse themselves into the world of BJJ. The coaches here absolutely understand how to safely teach and instruct beginners. This sport has completely changed my son’s ability to focus, manage his emotions, and provide a physical workout. We love it here at Alexandria BJJ. I’ve been training since September and it’s been nothing but a great experience. It’s a great gym with a great culture. Everyone is trying to help each other to improve and everyone tries to keep each other safe. The coaches teach in a way that makes everything understandable, immediately useable, and the lessons build in a strategic and logical way. My daughter has also trained for a few months and the kids program is great too. It’s a great way for kids to get exercise, learn discipline, make goals to improve, get experience competing, learn sportsmanship, and so many more things. I started my jiu jitsu journey back in August of 2023. I was looking for places that I could learn BJJ because I had no prior experience or knowledge, and CTA was/is extremely welcoming to me and was a kid friendly environment which is important because sometimes after work I must bring my kids with me. The staff of CTA are the epitome of professionalism, very welcoming and knowledgeable. The culture that they have built is where everyone pushes each other to get better so no one is afraid to ask for help and everyone is willing to help where and when they can. Professor Vu himself is a great teacher. The way he methodically breaks everything down is great, and if he sees that you need additional help, he will break it down even further to a level for you to understand. Every time he speaks to the class, he keeps it 100% real and tells you what you need to hear, not what you think you want to hear. He is transparent, sets real expectations and is firm, but fair to everyone. I appreciate that to the point where I’ve signed both of my kids up to participate in classes so we can share in this experience together. If anyone were to ask me about starting BJJ, the first place I would recommend is CTA. The environment is always great, you will always get a good workout in a sport that you can use to avoid potentially dangerous situations and I truly believe everyone is invested in everyone becoming better. I am extremely thankful that I found CTA Alexandria BJJ.

I have been attending CTA for a little over a year and a half, and it has been life-changing for me. After the pandemic, I had gained close to 50 pounds of unhealthy weight, and BJJ is one of the main reasons I was able to lose 30 pounds and recover my confidence. But beyond the sheer numbers, I am truly happy that I found a sport that I enjoy going to instead of having to go to the gym as an obligation. The staff at CTA is very welcoming, and there are numerous class time options to accommodate your work schedule. Professor Vu is a great teacher, and the more I practice BJJ, the more I notice how exceptional his technique is. However, the most important thing I appreciate from Professor Vu is that he is 100% transparent and does not sugarcoat things; he never overpromises and sets real expectations. The atmosphere is very friendly. There is this culture where everyone will try to help each other, and is invested to help you get better. Because of that It feels very easy to ask questions whenever you feel lost or don’t understand something. If you are looking for a way to exercise, challenge yourself, or learn a practical skill that can help you avoid potentially dangerous situations, I highly recommend this place. And if you are on the fence, I believe CTA still offers a free trial class for you to decide if it will be a good fit for you before you commit.

If you’ve ever driven down Franconia Rd between South Van Dorn and Frontier, you may not know of the hidden gem in the shopping center at the T-intersection of Beulah and Franconia Rd. A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy owned and operated by a local family called Caio Terra Academy - Alexandria BJJ that we found through a Google Search. The website is easy to navigate with a lot of information. The academy offers a free trial class, and the academy team is very responsive to inquiries via email or phone/text. There are classes offered during the week and weekend as well. Signing up was simple and there’s different options to choose from (e.g., month to month, 3 months, or 6 months). If you plan to start right away and don’t have a BJJ Gi, let the academy know you want to purchase a CTA BJJ Gi and arrive a few minutes early to the first class so you can help your child put on the Gi. From the academy team to the parents of the kids, everyone is always greeted with warm smiles when you walk through the door of the academy. Professor Vu, coaches, and assistants are amazing with the young kids. They are kind, patient, and understanding of the big emotions the kids experience throughout the class. These are particularly of importance to our family since we have young children, and one is an introvert. Signing up for BJJ with Professor Vu is one of the best things we’ve done for our kids. Professor Vu teaches the kids to focus, cultivate self-discipline, and build mental resilience. Whether your child needs a productive way to focus their energy, build confidence, or you just want your child to learn self-defense, we strongly recommend trying CTA-Alexandria BJJ with Professor Vu.

Professor Vu is amazing! He is well trained in jiu-jitsu and knows how to explain complex techniques to kiddos. I specially like that he doesn’t just teach the kids how to defend themselves but he provides every day examples and situations to get his message across. His assistant coaches are also very knowledgeable and promote a friendly environment in and outside the mat. We are very happy with the school!

My kids like BJJ Alexandria as the coaches are dedicated. They are not just teaching BJJ but respect and discipline. Ria is the best. She helps the place running smoothly.

My journey at this JiuJitsu school has been absolutely fantastic, especially as a first-time female student. Professor Vu's professionalism and teaching skills are truly exceptional. The environment is incredibly supportive, and the people who train here are of the highest quality. Thanks to my husband's recommendation – he's been training here for a while – my passion for JiuJitsu has deepened significantly. I wholeheartedly recommend this school to anyone looking for a place that values and nurtures technique in this incredible martial art.

We love CTA!! My son has been training with CTA for more than 3 years now. His coaches pushes him to be better and also learn important life skills lessons along the way! The atmosphere in class is encouraging, regardless of skill level. They support each other's growth, building confidence and a strong sense of discipline. We are very lucky to be a part of an incredible Jiu-Jitsu family!

We absolutely love this place! My 6 year old has been training for about a year now and she just completed her first competition after being encouraged by her coach. She did really well despite having tough competition and it being her first time ever going to an event like that. We love that the studio is family owned an operated because it feels like the instruction is personalized and that the coaches truly understand the strengths and weaknesses of all the students. The coaches are also very knowledgable and work really well with kids.

My 2 sons have been at CTA for 2 years and this gym has been a blessing. Coach Vu dedicates his time to teach proper technique and has helped them improve their skills and in turn has helped them perform well in comps. They have also built friendships with teammates and are always eager to go to class.

If I could give this gym 10 stars, I would! This is a family establishment, run by the most loving, dedicated family. It makes people of all ages, genders, and races feel welcomed. I am brand new to BJJ and every single person I have met on this mat is eager and willing to take time out of their training to advise, teach, and share their passion of the art with me. It is a cooperative and safe environment, making an individual activity really feel like a team. I tried two other gyms in the area prior to picking this one and it's the best decision I've made all year.

Fantastic kids' jiu-jitsu program! The instructors are incredibly patient and skilled, making it an ideal choice for beginners. The learning atmosphere is top-notch, creating a safe and supportive environment for kids to develop their skills and confidence. Highly recommended!

We love this place so much! The decision to come here for my son to continue Jiu Jitsu was easy. Every coach works hard to break down moves and explain the process. Then everyone practice those tactics. With this team my son’s technique and strength has continued to steadily grow.

An outstanding gym for all ability levels. Coach Vu is not only a tremendous practitioner, he is a talented and patient instructor. This is a friendly, accepting, and technically skilled academy. Whether your goal is to compete, improve your fitness, or learn a new skill, I can't recommend this academy highly enough.

This gym community and coach Vu are a godsend. We moved from Ohio and I wanted to get my 9 year son into a sport he knew and continue building skills. The coaches are attentive, push the kids in all the right ways. I highly recommend.

We can't speak highly enough of CTA Alexandria. We have experience with the youth program. Our son has learned so much, gets a great workout and really loves and enjoys coming to train here. All the coaches are wonderful and knowledgeable. Some other schools have instructors with experience in BJJ but may not be skilled at working with children. CTA Alexandria's instructors really know BJJ *AND* are really great at educating youth. We are grateful for everything our son is learning - so much about the sport and also about respect and mental toughness. We love that there are options here for all levels of athletes - instructors can meet kids where they are in terms of fitness and also in level of interest. Our son also loved the winter camp they did last year as well as the fun kid's nights they have. Lastly, the studio and building are so clean. Many thanks to Professor Vu and Ms. Ria and all the coaches for all they do.

I recently moved to the Northern Virginia area and spent some time searching for an academy to continue my BJJ journey. After trialing different gyms, I was pleasantly delighted with the quality of CTA Alexandria. Professor Vu and his team of instructors are phenomenal! They are able to break down techniques in a clear and accessible manner that has helped me build more foundation and confidence into my skill sets. One of the things I enjoy the most about CTA Alexandria is the unwavering commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. No matter where you are in your journey, everyone is incredibly kind and dedicated to helping each other grow! I recommend this academy wholeheartedly!

I first trained at CTA Alexandria back in 2019, and most recently my young children and I all trained there while in the DC area for a year . I recommend CTA Alexandria to anyone who is interested in learning BJJ or who wants their children to learn. A few high points: -It's a family-run business and it feels like it. The coaches are friendly, knowledgeable, and seemingly always there. Everyone knows each other and you quickly feel that you've joined a family. -The pricing is extremely reasonable for the area. For the three of us I saved $100 monthly over nearby competitors. -For the children's classes, there is often several coaches on the mats. The result is that the children learn much faster than they would at another gym with only one teacher on the mats at a time. -This is one of the more female-friendly gyms I've been to, and there are many females in the adults and the childrens classes. My daughter liked it at CTA. -The level of the technique being taught is good. They stick to the Caio Terra curriculum for the most part, and my observation is that overall the repetition and focus on certain techniques leads to faster skill retention. -The gym offers Gi and No-Gi, as well as Fundamentals classes. Overall, the focus of the gym is more on traditional Gi BJJ. There have been some No-Gi classes which focused on wrestling takedowns, leglocks, etc. There are some accomplished wrestlers among the students, as well. I loved training at CTA and look forward to returning when next I'm in the area.

My son started last September with no prior experience at 9 and loves it there. You can tell Coach Vu and the team love what they do and he provides the same level of detail to technique of the day as you’d expect in any adult class but also does well to ensure the kids remain engaged. There are enough instructors to float and make sure the kids are learning and getting guidance as necessary. They get enough mat time with live rolls that they’re prepared putting what they learn to the test to learn and grow from what works and what doesn’t and many kids have been successful in outside competition. On the flip side even the kids who are strictly recreational are treated just as well and I’ve never felt there is any favoritism shown toward either group. Although you can tell they take pride in the CTA affiliation there are no high pressure sales tactics to buy branded merchandise to attend class. I also appreciate that Coach Vu drills into the students that you have to put in hard work to earn promotions and nothing is given. Overall we feel lucky we fell into this academy when we moved to the area and my son has enjoyed training and competing under the CTA banner.

Caio Terra Academy-Alexandria Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has been an incredible experience for our son's Mitchell (10yrs old) and Noah (6yrs old) thus far! Coach Vu Tran and his staff have a wealth of experience and create an environment where learning is BJJ fun! Coach Vu and his staff emphasize discipline, technique, safety, and the importance of establishing a genuine love for BJJ. Though the classes are large at times, the coaches are evaluating each child very closely, which was important to us. Soon after Mitchell and Noah began attending regularly, you quickly notice that it is a family environment, where the instructors, kids participating and the parents are extremely encouraging. Mitchell and Noah were initially very nervous about participating in BJJ but their confidence has grown tremendously as their skills improve. As a result of Noah's performance to date, last week he received his first stripe on his belt from Coach Vu, which he is very proud of! Witnessing Noah receive his first strip motivated Mitchell more but I have already seen his BJJ skills improve as well as his mental toughness and discipline playing other sports. We highly recommend Caio Terra Academy-Alexandria Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to anyone in the area!

I've been training different martial arts for a few decades, and this school is one of the best I've ever attended. Professor Vu and his team have built an incredible culture. The instructors are always finding ways to adapt their teaching to students having different abilities. The upper belts are encouraged to roll with the lower belts to help them learn and grow. And students definitely earn their stripes and belts at this school. Both myself and my son train with Professor Vu. After every class and open mat, my son and I both consistently say that we can’t wait for the next time. My only regret is not joining this school sooner!

Our experience at Caio Terra - Alexandria has been wonderful. Our oldest child has been attending Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) classes for a year now and at first he was shy and insecure but we have noticed a significant change. He has learned a lot of new skills and how to defend himself. He also gained a level of confidence and discipline that was not there before and it's not just in BJJ. We have noticed this change at home and at school. Professor Vu and the rest of the coaches at Caio Terra - Alexandria provide a fun and safe environment to learn and practice BJJ. Recently my youngest son and I also started attending BJJ classes at Caio Terra - Alexandria and we are really enjoying it. I strongly recommend CTA - Alexandria if you are interested in starting or continuing your journey in BJJ.

I shopped around quite a bit for a BJJ/MMA gym in the Northern VA/DC area until I was finally referred to CTA Alexandria by a colleague. After our first trial class, I knew instantly this was the spot (both for myself and my seven-year old son). The kids program is awesome. It’s very technical with an emphasis on discipline and respect, all against the backdrop of a fun, supportive environment. There’s also a great student-to-instructor ratio so each student gets the attention they need. Specifically, the program balances a perfect mix of practical drills, technical instruction, and live-sparring where they can apply what they’ve learned. It’s especially neat to see the kids improve their grappling skills and grow in confidence with each class. I don’t know if my son would’ve fallen in love with BJJ like he has if he hadn’t been introduced to it through CTA. Likewise, the adult classes are legit. Coach Vu and his cadre are true professionals. Despite their deadly proficiency, they are humble and sincere. And that instructional style is not only reflected in their competitive accolades, but also in the rapidly growing community they’ve built around them. Even though the classes represent a broad spectrum of experience, skills, and age, everyone looks out for each other’s welfare while still training hard. And that makes for an environment that’s somehow humbling, encouraging, and empowering all at the same time. It’s like you’re rolling with family. If you’re looking for a BJJ gym that you can call home, I can’t recommend CTA Alexandria enough.

I have trained at CTA Alexandria since 2019 when I was completely new to BJJ. From the day I started I found the academy to be a fun and welcoming environment for all ages. Professor Vu is extremely dedicated to his student’s development and promotes a culture of safety and inclusiveness. Whether your focus is on competition or not this is an incredible place to train. Do yourself a favor and come try a class!

My husband took our 11 and 7 yrs old boys last spring break for a trial class. We love the coaches and the atmosphere. We like the fact that Coach Vu incorporate discipline and respect in the class. Most importantly, our boys are learning BJJ skills in a more fun environment. I would definitely recommend this school. Ms. Ria, is very welcoming and accommodating, everyone makes you feel comfortable. We love it so much that we decided to change our membership from monthly to yearly membership.

The Caio Terra academy in Alexandria has a great training environment for adults and children alike. The academy's class schedule has a lot of times where you can come in and train with very detailed and easy to follow techniques. The coaches focus on a few techniques month to month to ensure every student understands the material. Overall, a great place to learn and train!
