University Kids Edu-Care

I cannot recommend this Jiu Jitsu school highly enough, especially when it comes to working with kids! The instructors are not only incredibly skilled but also fantastic at creating a positive, supportive, and fun learning environment. They know how to balance discipline with encouragement, making every class both educational and enjoyable for children. The program is well-structured, with age-appropriate techniques and lessons that keep kids engaged while helping them develop confidence, focus, and self-discipline. The staff genuinely cares about the individual growth of each child, fostering an atmosphere of respect and teamwork. It's amazing to see how quickly the kids grow in skill and character under their guidance. If you're looking for a place where your child can learn valuable life skills while having fun and staying active, this is the place to be. The transformation in my child has been incredible, both on and off the mat!

My friend and I took our first class here free of charge and it was such an exhilarating and fun experience. The staff are incredibly kind and have patience abound for beginners like us! I felt super safe there and was not discouraged by my mistakes thanks to their encouragement! Highly highly recommend taking a class here!

Top rate facility and staff. Have trained at a handful of bjj gyms and have been experienced good and bad. There is no instructor worshipping here or money chasing by the staff and owners. Just no nonsense training and instruction. Instruction is high level by coaches who still currently compete and are in the game. The staff and facility is family friendly. What I love most about this gym is that you can tell that the main focus of the staff is to provide a legitimate service to the community and not to just use a legacy to make money. Coaches are excited to see students progress and understand techniques. You can tell that all the coaches here are invested in Bushido literally and emotionally and genuinely care about the success of the each student. The owner has done an excellent job of staffing this facility with a family of coaches who not only are highly skilled jujitsu athletes and instructors; but also people who make apparent by the way they carry themselves that they are of high morale character and professionalism. The training area for grappling is hands down one of the nicest in Texas. It is obvious that lots of thought was put into this facility during its creation. The gym area of the facility is top notch with excellent equipment. Bathrooms are clean and orderly. Class schedule os broad which makes training easier by allowing you to be flexible with when you train. This is one of the best places to train bjj in Texas and the very best in DFW in my opinion.

Had a phenomenal visit here. The mats were super clean and the staff was also super friendly. Austin, the manager of the facility made me feel right at home and gave me an awesome tour of the facility! Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to use the weight room section, but they had nothing but high quality equipment. Very well organized and well-thought out concept Will definitely be back again. Thanks again for the hospitality!

This place is amazing!! Been coming for almost a year now and the BJJ professors are world class. Very welcoming environment and the perfect place to start your BJJ journey. If you’re a higher belt wanting to test yourself, there’s plenty of talented practitioners to push you to the next level.

Best Jiujitsu gym in Dallas to train Gi! Master Carlos Araujo and his son professor Carlos Neto are amazing instructors. They are active competitors who teach the techniques that they themselves have used to win multiple titles. Come train and learn from some of Dallas best.

Truly a family atmosphere with both high level competitors as well as hobbyist training partners. There's something for everyone here and they also have a great kids class! This is all without mentioning access to a cold plunge, sauna and full weight room to round out the package!

I have been training here for over a year now. Every instructor is first rate, patient, fun, and very encouraging. The whole gym truly is a very welcoming family with a huge heart. Every single person in class will take an interest in welcoming you, teaching you, and helping you grow your game. The facility is top of the line for both bjj and weight training and is super clean. I can not recommend it enough.

I love this gym. This place is an open community where any affiliation is encouraged to visit and make new friends. Sundays are like Jiu Jitsu brunch where you can sample techniques from visitors all over Dallas. They have a huge springboard mat that is super forgiving. There are multiple competition black belts on the mat at every class. It's also ultra heavy friendly.

Charles Scrappy Alvarez III

Scrappy is so blessed to be training at @bushido_jiujitsu_strength. Bushido Jiu Jitsu is one of the only schools anywhere in the country that offers 2 to 3 black belts teaching their kids class. The level of instruction is unmatched. In the short time that Scrappy has been training with @bushido_jiujitsu_strength we have already seen his Jiu Jitsu game get taken to another level. If you live in the Dallas area and thinking of putting your child in Jiu Jitsu you have to give @bushido_jiujitsu_strength a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed!!!!

If you want to learn modern jiu jitsu in a clean, huge spacious environment, come here. It is so underrated. The instructors are technical. The gym is still relatively new and growing, but it won't be long before it gets more and more packed. I dropped in for a couple days to get some training in while I was visiting from out of town. I hope to be back soon.

I train at a facility in Frisco, but I drop into gyms all over DFW. From Argyle to Dallas ive been to alot and I must say, this takes the cake! Excellent facility. Clean spotless mats. Excellent strength and conditioing, clean locker room with functioning shower. Memebers are very polite and inviting. I am not a memeber, but I travel 30+ min every weekend or atleast every 2 weeks to attend their open mats. If you are in that area and wanting a place to train, I cant reccomend a better one.
