Fantastic gym, with an unrivalled range of equipment. Staff and general gym goers are all very friendly. Would recommend! Car park can be abit though at peak times, would recommend walking down if possible

The gym is excellent. It has a lot of equipment so even when it’s busy, you can still find machines to use

Trained here twice via a day pass, great gym, massive infact. Staff super friendly, lots of space to crack on with your workout. Some equipment is fairly used but doesn't stop it from working. Will definitely pop in again when I want to mix up my routine!

Hands down, the best gym I have ever worked out in worldwide. Top of the line equipment. Massive floors space, so never have to wait for a machine. Multiple Olympic weight racks and Multiple free weight areas. There are many new machines that once you figure out how to use, are fantastic! It's funny how times have changed. When I left 30+ years ago to live in the US, no UK gyms could compare. Now gyms like this , show that the US is lagging behind. Also, thank you Cheryl for the £20 week pass. That was great. Will be back in the summer, to train in the gym again. Dean.

Great gym with an amazing range of equipment and a strong community- I’ve been a member for over two years and that’s the main reason I’ve stayed. However, members are becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of maintenance. For over a year there has been ongoing water leaking through the roof, with buckets and sheets permanently around the gym. The female changing room has been dark for months due to broken lights, there’s a strong unpleasant smell coming from the showers, and several machines are broken or outdated. It’s honestly disappointing to see a gym with so much potential being neglected. Many members feel the same way and have considered leaving. This gym doesn’t need a full makeover- just basic upkeep, hygiene, and repairs. I really hope this reaches the right person, as it would be a shame to lose such a great gym due to ongoing maintenance issues.

I’ve been using this gym for some time, and overall it’s been a great place. I occasionally bring my son with me. He doesn’t use the gym equipment—he only does a short warm-up or a bit of running under my supervision before we head to the boxing gym, where he’s a member. I also pay the £10 fee for my Son, and £40 for my self. The problem is one particular female receptionist who usually works Monday mornings. This is the second time she has confronted me. The first incident happened about a year ago and was resolved after I spoke with the gym owner, so I thought the matter was settled. Today (Monday, 20 July 2026), she again stopped me in front of my son and spoke to me in a rude and disrespectful manner, telling me my son wasn’t allowed in the gym before even asking where we were going. What bothered me wasn’t just what she said, but how she said it. A simple, private conversation would have been the professional way to handle it instead of confronting me publicly. The situation escalated because of her attitude. She then threatened to have me removed from the boxing gym, even though I had done nothing wrong. I told her that if the gym wanted to cancel my membership, that was their decision, but I would finish my session and leave. When I told her I would leave a review about her customer service, she simply said she didn’t care and refused to give me her name. That response says everything about her attitude towards customers. To make matters worse, while I was driving home, I received a notification that my gym membership had been suspended without any discussion or warning. I cancelled my direct debit immediately because I don’t want to train somewhere where I’m made to feel unwelcome and stressed. The gym itself is excellent, and the rest of the staff have always been friendly and professional. Unfortunately, this one member of staff completely lets the place down. I hope the owner reviews this situation because her attitude and customer service are unacceptable.

I am shocked at the experience I had with the young man with glasses at this gym. I didn’t even know he was the manager, but he felt it was his right to confront me during my workout. Without any explanation or reason, he came up to me and told me I was not allowed in the gym. His attitude was rude, condescending, and completely unprofessional. A manager’s job is to ensure members feel welcome and safe—not to harass them. I strongly believe someone with this behavior should not be allowed to manage this gym, as it creates a hostile and intimidating environment for everyone He needs to move out from that position

My experience with the gym management was very disappointing. The manager, who is usually seen wearing glasses and sitting at the front desk, came across as uninterested and unhelpful whenever I needed assistance. Customer concerns seemed to be ignored, and communication was poor throughout my membership. A gym should be welcoming, professional, and focused on its members, but that was not the impression I received here. The lack of attention to customer service made the overall experience frustrating. I would not recommend this gym unless management significantly improves its attitude toward members and their concerns
