Really friendly and supportive BJJ club. Jamie, Matt and the whole gang are welcoming to new people - not just macho blokes but also women and LGBTQ+ community. First session free so you can borrow a gi and try it out with no commitment. Great fun! 🙂👍

I knew i wanted to try Jiu-Jitsu but that was all i knew about the sport. After emailing Marcus i dropped into a Friday session and have never looked back. The club is full of smiles and jokes, the atmosphere makes the training approachable and fun. The lessons are always well planned out with good instruction and the rolling at the end end of each is well supervised and always done with good nature. I'm addicted and so will you be if you come past and give it a go!!

Joined Brighton BJJ exchange a couple of weeks ago and already feel part of the family. Extremely friendly bunch of guys, very welcoming and more than happy to help a complete novice such as myself. The instructor Marcus is clearly passionate about teaching BJJ, his enthusiasm and clear instruction makes learning BJJ an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend this club!

I'm new to the club having only joined back in August for a 6-week beginners' BJJ course. The course was an excellent introduction to the fundamental positions in BJJ. I've since joined the regular sessions and I have found everyone to be welcoming, particularly some of the more experienced guys who have been very patient and happy to pass on their guidance. Marcus is a clear instructor and there are plenty of opportunities to ask questions about the techniques we're learning.

Really good place to learn BJJ. Great for beginners with a really friendly group of people to train with. Everyone is very welcoming and really try to help each other improve. The first free class is a definite bonus and gives you a chance to see how fun BJJ is. Would definitely recommend.
