Easily one of the best decisions of my life. Whole heartedly recommend Brasa Bowen BJJ. Come here with an empty mind and a willingness to learn and challenge yourself. You will leave richer mentally, emotionally, and physically. (1) Amazing atmosphere: the coaches in this academy set the tone for leadership and guidance. Incredibly warm, friendly, and kind. The overall vibe is very relaxed and friendly. (2) Great colleagues: . We are all here to learn from each other, and it shows in how we train. The advanced, more experienced students here are so generous in sharing their knowledge, and letting the newer students learn and improve. (3) Personal growth and development: Because of (1) and (2), a safe space and environment to challenge yourself physically and get stronger mentally. Definitely putting my little daughter into their kids program!

We love this jiu-jitsu family run academy, my son is 10y old he started learning jiu-jitsu about a year ago and I cant express how jiu-jitsu has changed his little life, he has much more confidence and better self esteem. My son is able to protect himself at school when someone is messing with him. They teach you how to keep your partner safe but still excute a proper jiu-jitsu move that is not violent. Their Coach/professors are so understanding and patient. We tired a few other academies, ultimately ended up choosing Brasa Bowen BJJ for the super family friendly atmosphere, being able to sit in the academy and watch the children participate, learn and genuinely enjoy themselves with their class mates. I highly recommend this academy. Excellent receptionist and excellent coachs.

Brassa Bowen BJJ London has changed my life as a father and a husband. I’ve lost over 30lbs since I’ve started my journey and recommend this academy to everyone. They have the best coaches/staff available. I’ve met some life long friends and built relationships I’ll cherish for life. BJJ is for everyone.

Brasa Bowen Academy has truly changed my life in so many ways. The mental, fiscal and emotional advantages that my son and I have taken away from the Academy in the last 10 months is bar none. I have never witness or experienced such a great community in my life. I would recommend the Academy to all ages and walks of life. This place is truly a diamond in the rough.

Being almost 50 and walking in with minimal grappling experience, I was very nervous to start BJJ. However, Brasa Bowen BJJ is amazing! The instructors (and students) are kind, humble and want to help you succeed. If you're looking for a welcoming environment to start your BJJ journey, this is the place! It's never too late to start. If I can do it, you can too.

Joining this club is like joining a family! The coaches look out for us and bring out the best in us. We learn skills on the mat and build our confidence off the mats. Highly recommended Bowen Brasa Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to all ages and levels of experience.

5 stars for the class itself, 0.5 star for the service. The receptionist with braids is so mean, hard sell on phone and after class. I felt I was treated differently compared to other customers. She was impatient, ignored me when I approached the desk, and asked me to place my belongings in an area that was already full. I was also told I could not walk to the washroom with shoes on or barefoot, and was required to do so only in socks, which felt unnecessarily rigid and uncomfortable. The coach deserves credit, but the reception service needs improvement, l have never had such disrespectful experience before at other gyms. Messy gym layout - no clear floor for footwear changing. No spar, only drills for lower belt.
