Been at this gym for a little while now. Few things I’ve noticed really quickly, you have a strong support system at this gym not only do you have all the trainers wanting you to succeed but also most members are there to help you grow. Something you don’t see everywhere. The trainers also accommodate for anyone with injuries or limitations without the gilt or shame that you’re unable. As a member with knee problems this is something I can really appreciate. Ryan is a really good guy especially when it comes to hard times. There was a point where I unfortunately had to stop my membership due to a work injury Ryan without any hassle offered to put my membership on hold to avoid the start up process again but was willing to cancel if that’s what I chose.
Overall I’d recommend this guy to anyone looking for results and small group fitness.
Ryan is a great trainer! He’s been working with my son and has helped him learn proper lifting techniques while also supporting healthy weight loss. My son is more confident, stronger, and motivated. Very knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. Highly recommend 5 star all the way
Been a member here since the opening in November 2020, and here is my raw take:
There is so much knowledge Ryan and Marlon have when it comes to biomechanics, strength training and just becoming a better athlete. They have seen so many clients at this point that they know instantly what to fix or add/remove from a training program and always prioritize safety first. I continue to learn new things from Ryan in 1 on 1 strength sessions as they are very high quality and only take an hour max.
Also for the Martial arts side of things, Will the striking coach is as real as they come. He has much experience in multiple different types of striking and has created a challenging but also safe sparring environment for people who want to push themselves. After training with him for two years now, its amazing what he has been able to get me to do, even with my tight hips!
The BJJ program here is filled with talent and open mats on Saturday are quite the experience. You get a good mix between smaller skilled people, but also a good range of heavy weights, a lot of them being upper belts. Doing privates with Hawk, one of the instructors, is definitely worth the time and investment and several of the other blackbelts are great coaches too.
Overall a great environment and my only critique is that I hope the gym continues to grow, into a huge city.
Such an amazing gym! The trainers are knowledgeable, supportive, and always push you to do your best. The workouts are challenging but fun, with everything from boxing and kickboxing to HIIT, strength training, and more. The members are very welcoming and encouraging. Whether you’re new to working out or have been at it for a while, this gym has something for you. Definitely try it out using their 3-day trial period if you’re looking for a place that helps you grow, get stronger, and feel confident.
Absolutely LOVE this gym! The owners and trainers are FANTASTIC! They keep you so motivated and kick your ass in class!! Must try the 6 week boot camp!!!
Just finished my 6-week transformation challenge with these guys and I lost 12 pounds! This facility creates an environment that feels safe and encouraging but also hardcore and motivating! The sense of community working out with other members is amazing too. I am so happy with my results and I couldn’t have done it without the amazing trainers here. If you want to look and feel your best this is the place to go.
Such a great gym awsome place to get started into weight lifting and working towards one's weight loss goals I could only go for a few months but I was able to learn so much and get a good chunk of my fitness goals completed and started. Sad to have to leave (moving out of London) but now feel I can continue more confidently in the gym. Ryan is so welcoming and the whole atmosphere is amazing.
I did a few trial classes late 2022 (HIIT and Boxing) and really enjoyed then but due to family planning didn’t end up joining. Flash forward to 2024. I joined in November and have been regularly attending. I absolutely love all the classes and trainers. Ryan knew my name right away and always greeted me when I came in. The trainers are really good at correcting any form issues and create a welcoming and fun environment. It’s a great place for all types and experiences. It’s worth checking out!
It took me a while to decide whether or not to write this review, but I ultimately felt it was important to share my experience — especially given the current state of the fitness scene in London. I believe places like this may be contributing negatively to it.
At first glance, this gym presents itself well. The atmosphere appears friendly, the staff seem welcoming, and the community appears supportive. However, my experience suggested that this perception is somewhat misleading and driven by a tightly knit inner circle — individuals who have known each other for years and whose reviews may be biased or artificially inflated.
I was initially offered a three-day trial pass, but after attending just one class, I was unexpectedly asked to pay for the remaining two days. I approached the situation politely and only participated in a beginner-level kickboxing session. From what I observed, these free passes are selectively honored — seemingly offered only to those who have something to offer in return, or, frankly, to individuals who fit a certain appearance profile. This raises serious concerns, especially for parents considering this space for minors.
The owner, Ryan, presents a particularly concerning dynamic. His public persona seems to contrast sharply with some of his behavior behind the scenes. In previous years, I’ve witnessed him criticize other training styles (such as CrossFit) only to later adopt them when they gained popularity — which feels more opportunistic than genuinely progressive.
Additionally, I’ve personally observed and heard from others about inappropriate workplace gossip involving Ryan and staff from other local businesses. There’s also a recurring theme of undermining or mocking other trainers’ techniques when he feels he can get away with it. At times, this behavior has come across as petty or even driven by insecurity.
Another red flag is the overwhelmingly positive Google reviews — most of which lack substance, before-and-after stories, or real client outcomes. Many of these seem to come from individuals who have received special treatment in exchange for positive feedback. This undermines the credibility of the gym and makes it difficult for new clients to make an informed decision.
I’ve heard mixed feedback about Ryan — some people have said he’s improved recently, and I genuinely hope that’s the case. But based on my own experience and what I’ve seen and heard, I personally wouldn’t return. Nor would I recommend this environment to others, especially those seeking a safe, honest, and supportive training space.
