Jeff is a 1st Degree Black Belt, U.S. Army Veteran, and founder of Grapple or Die. His journey started with Karate and Judo, moved through wrestling, and led him to Jiu-Jitsu in 2004 via the Modern Army Combatives Program. He earned his black belt in 2022 and his first degree in 2025.
Noah “Ace” Kiszka was a 3x West Virginia State Wrestling Place Winner and wrestled as the starter for Fairmont State before pursuing MMA. Noah is currently a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Blue Belt under Chris Bower and holds a 5-1 record in MMA.

I trained here for two weeks while visiting, and the experience was amazing. The coaches were welcoming, the students were friendly, and the level of instruction was top-notch. Highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for great Jiu Jitsu!

I recently visited Fredrick for a family vacation and I must say, the gym exceeded my expectations. It’s an outstanding facility with top-notch mats and a fantastic array of free weight options. I had an incredible time training and rolling with everyone. Thank you for the amazing experience! I’ll definitely be back to this gym the next time I’m in town.

Bowerhouse truly has it all. From the facility and equipment, the community and culture, to the coaches who can walk the talk. The Kickboxing classes with Coach Rob are great and he does a wonderful job of scaling the drills to the varying skill levels of the people present. The BJJ classes are taught by some of the best in the industry, who are incredibly patient and happy to help each individual in their pursuit of becoming better. Bowerhouse fosters an environment for growth and excellence in all capacities while remaining incredibly welcoming. I can’t recommend this gym enough.

Coach Rob is truly the godfather of fighters an incredible coach and martial arts mentor. I’ve known him for many years, and his dedication to his students and the sport is unmatched. Bower House has one of the best martial arts programs in the area, with great coaches who care deeply about their students’ growth. The facility is large, clean, and welcoming, making it a perfect place for training at any level. Whatever your goal is, if you’re looking for top-tier coaching and a positive training environment, Bower House is the place to be.

Been coming here for over a year and a half now. Such a great gym and love the environment here. Jiu jitsu is world class and they also have weights which is great for getting it all done! The Bowers are awesome too and treat everyone like family! 🙌🏻💪🏻
