  Had a blast black smith jiu jitsu niceville! Lisa & Jimmy were super accommodating to myself and the kiddos. Greatly appreciate their openness for allowing me to train and the new connections made with members of the club. Highly recommend if you’re in Destin, Fort Walton, or Niceville to pop in!

  I highly recommend this gym to anyone in the area or visiting! I am in the area this week on vacation. With an upcoming match, I wanted to train a few days. I messaged their FB page and Lisa immediately responded. I joined their women’s class this week and am so thankful I did! They were welcoming, friendly, and highly skilled! I left learning a few new techniques! I will definitely be back!

  I've been training at Blacksmith Jiu-Jitsu in Niceville, FL, for the past 11 months, and I can confidently say it's been a life-changing experience. When I first walked through the doors, I didn't know the first thing about fighting or how to control a situation on the ground. But thanks to the incredible guidance of Jimmy, Lisa, Decan, and Dawson, I'm now a completely different person—mentally, physically, emotionally, and even on a spiritual level. Their unique form of jiu-jitsu, known as Tru-Jitsu, has not only equipped me with the skills to defend myself but has also become a passion that I’m absolutely addicted to. In fact, I’m so committed that I switched my truck's license plate to "TRUJTSU" as a testament to my dedication. The gym has become more than just a place to train; it’s a community, a second home, and a source of endless growth. If you're looking for a place to transform yourself and find an unparalleled sense of strength and confidence, Blacksmith Jiu-Jitsu is where you need to be. It’s hands down the best sport I’ve ever done, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. Thank you, Blacksmith Jiu-Jitsu, for everything you've done for me!

  This place is excellent! We brought our nephew in for an open mat while he was visiting us and he was welcomed by the team that runs the gym with open arms. Everyone in attendance (staff and patrons) was friendly and supportive, despite his obvious young(er) age. Our nephew said he loved the gym and when prompted for reasons, he said "it was just a great environment". We can't wait to bring our daughter to BlackSmith Jiu Jitsu for regular lessons soon!

  I just completed my second day of training in Florida, and I couldn't be more thrilled about my experience at Blacksmith Jiu-Jitsu in Niceville. From the moment I stepped onto the mat, I was greeted with a warm welcome and an invigorating training environment. A special thank you goes out to Professor Jimmy, whose expertise and attention to detail are truly unparalleled. He took the time to walk me through a series of techniques that were precisely what I needed to refine my skills and take my game to the next level. His approach is not only technical but also incredibly inspiring, making every session impactful. The gym itself boasts a fantastic facility, clean and well-equipped, fostering a perfect setting for both beginners and seasoned practitioners. The community at Blacksmith Jiu-Jitsu is tough, committed, and incredibly welcoming, making each session both challenging and rewarding. I'm genuinely excited to implement the new techniques I've learned into my routine, and I'm looking forward to my next visit.
