I’ve been training at Black Wolf Shoreline going on my third month now and have really enjoyed my experience thus far. I’m 38 with zero martial arts background and the instruction and training has been absolutely top notch. I spent the majority of my professional career working with athletes at the highest level in triathlon and swimming and feel confident recommending this program to anyone at any level of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The programming is straight forward, adequate time is spent breaking down the skills, and we do live “rolling” every session. The instructors are highly qualified and invested in everyone’s improvement. Because of my experience and confidence in the program, I’ve also enrolled my 6 year old son who quickly took to class and looks forward to attending. For me, it’s great to have this bjj academy so close to home in Madison.

Only gym I know that offers classes every day (7 days a week). Ranging from Gi/No Gi and Striking/Kickboxing.
Gym itself is very clean and sanitary, allowing use of a changing room and fully functional bathroom.

I’m 47 and started BJJ training at Black Wolf a little over a year ago. Best decision I ever made. Great, technical instruction from top notch BJJ practitioners along with training partners who are always willing to help everyone learn and grow. My son has joined as well and loves the kids program and personal attention he gets. I highly recommend joining this gym to test your limits and learn a valuable martial arts experience that you will take with you forever.
Black Wolf Martial Arts is such a great training environment. The instruction is high level and the community is amazing! My daughter started her JiuJitsu training there and she loves it. The kids program is great! The kids love it and are all advancing so much. JiuJitsu is truly the best martial arts for kids. They are always engaged which is great for kids. Started training here about 3 months ago with zero knowledge of BJJ. This is a clean, well run and welcoming gym that offers multiple GI, No GI, Striking and self defense classes multiple times a week. The instructors are highly technical with decades of BJJ knowledge and training experience. Fellow classmates of all ages are friendly and eager to learn and help each other out.
