  I've been training with Tim for about 9 years now, his classes are the traditional 2h format with a technical warm-up and some conditioning, followed by technique and then 45 minutes of sparring. Tim isn't just an instructor, he's a coach - he doesn't simply show you techniques, he teaches you the strategy of Jiu-jitsu and guides you on how to develop your own game. The regulars are a friendly bunch and always welcoming of new comers. We have a yoga class too 🤓

  I’ve been training at Black Badger Jiu Jitsu and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly. The atmosphere is welcoming, supportive, and motivating. Whether you’re brand new to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or have years of experience. Tim is an excellent coach who breaks down techniques in a clear, practical way and always takes the time to make sure everyone understands. He pushes you to improve but also makes training enjoyable. The mix of technical drilling, live rolling, and focus on fundamentals has really helped me progress. If you’re looking for a place to train BJJ that balances high-level instruction with a great community, Black Badger Jiu Jitsu is the place to be.

  Training at Black Badger BJJ has been an incredible experience. The atmosphere is friendly, focused, and supportive—perfect for both beginners and experienced grapplers. The coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and truly dedicated to helping everyone improve.
