My two kiddos were nervous when they first started BJJ here, but the coaches made them feel welcome from day one. Since then, their confidence, focus, and mental toughness have grown in ways that go beyond the mat. The instruction is excellent, and the environment strikes the perfect balance between discipline and support. It’s clear the coaches genuinely care about each student’s development. Joining this gym has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our kids.
Excellent BJJ Gym in an easy to navigate location with plenty of parking. Very clean and welcoming of all ages and skill. Coach Tyler is very good at being patient and teaching the young kids the basics/foundations of BJJ
BJJ SQUARED is a great gym. The coaches are terrific, the atmosphere is friendly. My teen daughters started Jiu Jitsu a few years ago with Coach Anthony. Both are still learning from him and are fortunate to also have other terrific coaches at BJJ SQUARED with various skills and techniques to learn from. One of my daughters competes in BJJ and the coaches go above and beyond my expectations helping her prepare for competitions. At the same time, they put no pressure on my other daughter to compete and she also receives quality training to help her improve. As a father with two daughters I'm very happy we found a great place that's friendly, courteous and my daughters like to attend. I love the fact my daughters are learning to defend themselves and they enjoy learning at BJJ SQUARED.
I’ve trained at a few Jiu Jitsu gyms over the years and have found my home at BJJ Squared. The leadership is committed, and the coaching is top-notch, suitable for every age and skill level.
If you have kids, you can’t go wrong with the BJJ Squared kids program, offering age-appropriate classes from age 3 all the way through to adulthood.
If you’re a reluctantly aging adult like myself, whether you’re just trying to learn and develop a new skill or looking for a good scrap, you can find it here—especially the 0530 Breakfast Club.
See you soon 😉
I have trained here with my four children for over a year and have had an overwhelmingly positive experience. Coaches Tyler and Boomer providing outstanding instruction to the kids while also promoting a safe training environment. Coaches Anthony, Tyler, Jim, and Jason provide exceptional instruction in the adult classes and promote an atmosphere where everyone who trainings is supporting the growth of the lower belts. In my opinion this is the perfect BJJ school for any age to train and grow with healthy, positive competition.
BJJ Squared is a great place to learn the art of Jiu-Jitsu. Gym is clean, family friendly & instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. I have 5 kids, 3 are in their kid program's & my oldest 2 train with me in the adult classes. Whether you just want to learn BJJ or be a competitor, they can provide everything you need.
First class gym for Brazilian Jujitsu. The team at BJJ Squared is a perfect environment for beginners looking to learn quality fundamental Jujitsu. The team welcomes all levels, especially teens and the ladies. Very welcoming gym to visitors and open mats. STRONG work BJJ².
I recently attended a woman’s self defense class at BJJ squared and would highly recommend it. It was laid back and fun and the moves are easy to remember. I plan on bringing some friends to another class.
Great gym and great people!
I was traveling and spent a week in Kennett Square. This gym was very welcoming and the people were friendly. Since i was taveling light, i couldn't bring my gi, but for Sunday open mat, they let me borrow a loner gi.

Great instruction for all ages and skill levels. Clean, plenty of mat space and always fun. Whether you're looking to train to compete or for self defense or just for fun, BJJ² is the place to be.
Tyler the owner of bjj squared loves to compete and continues to push those around her to achieve their goals. Also very patient when it comes to helping and teaching children
I recently was visiting home for the week and came across BJJ Squared while looking for gyms to train at. Tyler was extremely responsive and welcoming when I emailed about dropping in. The team was great during the classes and ranged for beginners through higher level belts. The coaching is individual enough where you'll be learning something no matter your level. I'll definitely be coming back on future visits to see the family.
great gym. A very welcoming atmosphere for the entire family. All the instructors are incredible and are eager to teach. Whether you are experienced in BJJ or completely new, this gym is worth checking out!
Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Very calm atmosphere with emphasis on technique and safety. My middle child is in the kids program and my other two will be joining as well. This has been a great activity for me and my son to participate in. Great location, good people, fair prices, cleans mats.
Great gym with a great culture. Top notch instruction, Anthony has years of experience teaching both kids and adults. Tyler is a dedicated Jiu Jitsu athlete who is great with kids. It doesn’t matter if you’re a kid, young adult, or an old guy like me, this gym is a great place for everyone to train. My kids and I have been training with this crew for years and I can’t recommend BJJ Squared enough
