Really welcoming atmosphere. My son did a drop in while visiting from out of state and loved how kind everyone was. He said he learned a ton and asked us to extend our trip to MA just so he could hit another class with this place. Great atmosphere and instruction. You can tell they're all happy to be there!

Perfect place to start or continue your jiu-Jitsu journey. Solid group of people and awesome instruction. Very welcoming to newcomers, really made me feel at home without any experience in martial arts whatsoever.

My son got into Jiu Jitsu when he was in high school and this is the place that started it all! To him, Justin is the GOAT and he still returns for classes when he is back home from college. And now, our 12 year old daughter is loving every minute of her classes with Justin. Highly recommend.

A welcoming atmosphere, where teaching each other regardless of where you are in your Jui Jitsu journey is key. Justin (the owner) is well schooled in the art. Competent educated and open, this is the place to be.

Justin, the owner and lead instructor, is one of the best blackbelts I've had the pleasure of working with; his vast knowledge, and ability to break down and communicate complex techniques in clear, easy-to-understand ways, is a skill not often found in a coach (and is especially important in a complex combat sport like jiu-jitsu). The academy is vibrant and welcoming and a lot of fun, where you'll find training partners of all levels to work with and take your jiu-jitsu to the next level. Highly recommended!
