"I'm absolutely thrilled with my experience at Aztlan combat sports! The instructors are top-notch - knowledgeable, supportive, and passionate about teaching. The training is challenging yet fun, and I've seen significant improvement in my skills since joining. The community is like a family, everyone is welcoming and encouraging. Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn martial arts and get in shape. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could!" 💪🏿

I was doing a project over by Purdue stopped in and welcomed with open arms. They have a good program I was only here for two days one day for no gi day and on for Gi. Both were challenging. Both were informative. All the instructors seemed really happy to be there and to also be helping and teaching people. If you wondering this is the place for your kids and all skill levels.

In my eight months training, Aztlan has become like another family to me. It is a great, supportive environment for women wanting to learn jiu jitsu & also a good place for children. The gym space is large & clean. Highly recommended!

I've been training at Aztlan Combat Sports for around a month now, and it's been an incredible experience. As someone with no prior experience in any combat sports, I was initially apprehensive, but the coaches here are exceptionally nice and supportive. They take the time to ensure everyone is progressing and learning correctly. The members are equally friendly and welcoming, creating a positive and encouraging environment. Whether you're a beginner like me or an experienced practitioner, this gym offers a fantastic community and top-notch training. Highly recommend!

Just started here a month ago and everything is fantastic. I had no previous experience in judo or jiu jitsu, but every instructor and other student has been patient, friendly, and welcoming. Highly recommend.

I am a grad student at Purdue University and found Aztlan in my search healthy outlets. I have been training here for nearly a year, and the community, training, and friendships I have found here have been outstanding. The gym has recently moved into a bigger studio and the additional mat space has allowed the leadership to invest in a more complete training curriculum. The head jiu jitsu instructors professor Hall and Professor Reyes are great, along with their coaching staff. I am eager to grow alongside this school.

The best dojo in town! The professors are excellent, the people are friendly, and if you're looking for a place to truly progress in martial arts and be part of a passionate community, this is it. I moved here from France, and thanks to this dojo, I feel right at home.

When I first embarked on my journey in BJJ, I was grappling with personal challenges that traditional weightlifting at the gym couldn't alleviate. That's when I had the privilege of conversing with Professor Hall. During our insightful discussion about life, he provided valuable insights into how BJJ could be a transformative force. Meeting Professor Shank further enhanced my experience as he enlightened me about the impact of overthinking, particularly during our sparring sessions. He pointed out my elevated breathing and encouraged me to embrace a calmer mindset, breaking free from a lifelong fight-or-flight mentality. Joining Asgard proved to be a turning point for me. Not only did I witness a boost in confidence, but I also experienced significant weight loss, a remarkable achievement for someone on a larger frame. The camaraderie at Asgard is unparalleled, transcending mere friendships to create a sense of family. There are no cliques here—everyone is part of a unified team, fostering respect among brothers and sisters striving to become better versions of themselves. The Asgard community goes beyond the physical aspects of BJJ; it's a sanctuary for those battling demons of trauma and pain. Through this martial art, we collectively overcome obstacles, emerging as stronger individuals ready to make a positive impact on our community and the world. I am immensely grateful for choosing Asgard, and I encourage anyone reading this to reach out to Professor Hall, Professor Shank, or any member of the Asgard family. It's not just a gym; it's a life-changing decision where you'll learn the principles of BJJ and apply them to enrich your everyday life.

I've always wanted to try martial arts, just wasn't sure which one. A friend of mine at work has been doing jiu jitsu for years . So I came in and did the one week free trial. I'M HOOKED ! Been going twice a week now for 3 months. The Coaches are great teachers. Everyone is easy to get along with and extremely helpful. I'm 50 yrs old and do not work out. This is an excellent way to lose weight and get in shape not to mention self defense. Also a fantastic stress reliever.

I was suffering from anxiety and was having trouble mentally. The class gave me am outlet for what I was dealing with. In a safe and controlled setting. Through the conditioning work outs and training I've lost 15 healthy pounds in under 6 months. I'm 43 and almost in as good of shape as I was in my 20's. I hold all the coaches in the highest rearguard. They are personal they know what they're doing and they care about you and your well-being. Asgaurd has charged my life for the better. I wish I would have joined a lot sooner

This is a fantastic place to train, the training is as challenging but still extremely fun. The atmosphere is very welcoming and there is no judgment if you struggle, people will take the time to help you figure out what you are doing wrong and then help you fix it. I will continue to go here for years to come hopefully i will see you in there.

I have been training at Asgard since late January of 2021. I love this place. Coach Hall, the owner, is a great man and very encouraging as well as accommodating to anyone who walks in those doors. The kickboxing coaches Justin and Tanner are top notch and always willing to help. They always give tips and encouragement every session. Pretty much anything you need is provided , just come in gym clothes and a good attitude and you’ll have a great time. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and there’s a trial period so if you decide it’s not for you, you’re not out anything. Trust me, you’ll love it.

I have been sending my son here for the last couple of months and have been very impressed with his results under Coach Mo’s training. As a parent of a child who has little interest in anything other than video games, I’m so happy to see him looking forward to kickboxing and grappling classes. The prices are reasonable and the staff are very patient and knowledgeable. Great hidden gem!

Great place for kids! My son takes a few classes here. He learns excellent technique from Coach Mo. In addition to technique, he teaches the kids how to be a good people as well. The kids learn respect for peers, parents, teachers and coaches. He tells the kids the importance of completing their school work and chores at home. It is an all around excellent place!

BJJ has been a drastic change from mynormal sports and what an amazing journey it has been. ACS has played a pivotal role in me being able to develop myself and my skills with lots of fun and laughs along the way!

This place operates more like a closed circle than a martial arts academy. The lack of professionalism and the pressure to stay exclusive raised serious red flags. If you're looking for a place that respects your freedom and growth, keep looking.
