Buscapé leads the kids’ capoeira classes with brio and lots of patience! Mixing playfulness and fundamental technique, my daughter won in confidence as the session progressed. Other very cool perk is the exposure to Brazilian Portuguese through capoeira songs that the kids learn together. It’s a cultural experience where families feel a sense of community. A whole vibe worth every penny!

I’m loving my experience at Afrobraz! I started in Sept/24 with some free Capoeira classes, and was really looking for a welcoming place that would be able to handle a beginner level learner like me (newborn, lol). So far, I have been impressed by their care, patience and willingness to take the time in order for me to learn at my own pace. I’ve never done any martial arts before, so this is a totally new experience for me and it’s exciting to see where it takes me, especially growth wise. If you feel intimidated at first like me, rest assured that you’ll be well taken care of at AfroBraz! 🌞

My 8 year old daughter loves the Capoeira class! She absolutely adores the music, playing the instruments and the workout, sprinkled with some life lessons from her mestre.

This was one of the best experiences in Montreal. Maestro Buscapé is a passionate and inspiring person. The energy and atmosphere is amazing and very welcoming. I am very glad I discovered capoeira in this place.
