As a parent and spectator at Ascent Martial Arts for two years, I had the pleasure of watching my daughter grow and thrive in such a supportive, family-focused environment. The sense of community is undeniable, and everyone genuinely enjoys their time there. It was so inspiring that I decided to join the class myself—and I couldn’t be happier with the decision! The experience has not only been a lot of fun but also a fantastic way to stay active. Whether you're watching or participating, Ascent Martial Arts makes you feel like part of the family. We love going every week! This is the first time my son has really felt passionate about anything! Ever since he started, he is more motivated, he actually wants to practice and get better.
Absolutely love this place! My daughter has grown in confidence by a mile and she always looks forward to the next time she gets to go to class. We are so thankful to have found this place! The owners are incredibly nice people and very welcoming to any and all who come. It feels like home! I can't wait for my son to join in when he is older!
The best place I could find; it’s been like our family; our safe place! My two kids love their classes and the teachers, they are helping them to be safe, strong, and martial arts ! I ve been to a few other martial arts place before for my little one. Once I attended Ascent Martial arts I knew this it. This is not just martial arts. It’s way more than that. They really have such a positive influence. I’ve seen my son develop more confidence, discipline and agility. He loves it! This has been such a great experience so far. Being able to participate in an activity with my family has been incredible. As far as martial arts is concerned they are very dedicated and detail oriented. Always encouraging with the goal to be a better version of ourselves. I cannot thank Mr. and Mrs Mauro enough. If you are looking for a martial arts place where you want your child to grow in a positive environment please look no further!
I’m so happy we decided to try out martial arts with Ascent. The kids are loving it and I am loving all the growth and learning that I’m seeing already. Nathan is a born teacher, really has a way with kids! The whole family is positive and encouraging and so good at what they do! We are blessed to have found them. I absolutely love the way they roll basic lessons of life and “being a good/responsible human” into the teaching. This is just what my kids needed!
This class is truly an awesome find for my family! We are learning by leaps and bounds in a fun, controlled, and supportive environment. The instructors are patient and positive, and teach important lessons on character and respect throughout class. I couldn’t ask for a better class for my family. Thanks Ascent, you guys rock!
our kids have been doing ATA since October and we have really enjoyed seeing their amazing progress. the kids are enjoying their classes and the instructors have done a great job.
One of the best decisions I have ever made for my children: Ascent Martial Arts has enabled my three children, ages 3/4-7, be more better people, with better minds, honesty, and strength. Their body and emotional wellbeing has been immensely impacted by our year (so far) with this ATA Family. I was so impressed with the growth of my children, that I joined myself. I looked at many other martial arts schools in the area, and this one was far more in alignment with how I want my children to grow — where they learn self-belief, honesty, discipline and self-esteem. I have seen one of my more timid children become confident and able to speak in front of large groups. I’ve seen another one of my children become a leader with friends. I have seen another of my children learn how to calm their body and sit still. If you are looking to have your kids grow in mind, body, and heart, I hope you will check out this amazing school.
Mr morrow put hands on one of my children (one who is not in the class). And I don’t mean a high five or accidentally. He physically assaulted one of my children. Don’t give your time or money to this jerk. He doesn’t even teach the right standard, his students are constantly put at a disadvantage at tourneys because of his incompetence. *reply to their response of my review I have to address your lies. It was not my child who told me the story, it was my wife. I KNOW exactly what happened, so don’t try and gas light me, that’s just lame. The reason it’s taken close to a year for my review to be made was that google reviews wouldnt post it what with my calling you several things in my initial review, once I went on and took that out, they posted it. You know exactly what you did and why it was wrong, you can beg the question, gaslight and spew all the condescension that you want BUT I know the truth. And if I were you, I’d do better to not ever touch a child that way again.
