The best place to train martial arts in Regina! The all-access membership gives me the options of training Jiu Jitsu (both Gi and NoGi), Wrestling, Muay Thai AND MMA. This also being the only facility in Regina to offer beginner MMA classes. I myself train primarily Muay Thai Kickboxing and while this all started as a healthy hobby both physically and for my overall well-being, I also had the opportunity to compete in my first fight which I never thought I would gain the confidence to accomplish. While the training at Ascendant Martial Arts is high level, the community surrounding the gym is what makes you leave with a smile on your face every single time. 5/5, I wouldn't recommend any other gym in the city!

Kid has gone here for all disciplines. She didn't really enjoy them... If the coaches and place wasn't so welcoming she wouldn't have gone back as martial arts we found aren't her thing. She asked again to go back as she misses everyone. Keep up the good work!

Sean and Hajar have built an incredible gym founded on building friendships, confidence and feeling like part of a hilarious family. At Ascendant you'll find a unique mix of bjj, wrestling, muay thai and mma which allows you to try new martial arts all in one place or do them all! Trust me when I say, this gym is a fantastic place to start your martial arts journey (as I did) or begin a new one. Ascendant is extremely inclusive and dedicated to encouraging its students to be there very best selves.

Sean and Hajar are awesome instructors! Ascendant has great programs, and everyone on the team is super friendly and welcoming. If you're looking to train in Regina, this is it.
