  Great place to train at whether youre a complete begineer or a pro. Many different classes to train AM or PM with nice showers if you go right after work. Coach Frankie puts a balance on training and also your activities outside the gym. Everyone here is super respectful and good communicators if you want to drill a move or are looking for ways to improve your game.

  Awesome place to start training or continue your journey. Quality instruction for all levels available! Gym is clean, mats are clean and has multiple restrooms and showers. Frankie is awesome and so are all the other instructors. Great vibes all around. Highly recommend if you’re in the Sacramento area!🤙🏽🤙🏽

  You should train here! I’ve been traveling the western states and training jiujitsu. And I don’t think anywhere is as welcoming as Ares! The coach’s and the athletes alike have been very hospitable and it has been a real treat getting to train alongside them. Frankie is a GREAT instructor. He is knowledgeable and generous with his knowledge. You can tell by the whole team, from white belt upwards that he is a great leader. Whether you are a beginner or a competitive athlete, you are going to find great training and great training partners here at Ares Sacramento! I can’t recommend enough.

  Great gym for those looking to compete seriously or just try jiu jitsu and make some new friends. The gym has a very clean, safe and friendly atmosphere. The coaches do a great job giving students individual attention while still pushing the group as a whole. They are welcoming to everyone, there's no silly academy rules, so just show up with a good attitude and good hygiene and you'll fit right in!

  The staff is welcoming and the classes are great for all levels. Don't make an excuse that you will start in a month, just get up and go now! They have a class just about every night at 6:30pm.

  I have been going to this location for a few weeks now and I can feel myself getting better and stronger. The instructors there are friendly and approachable with amazing techniques. They have a pretty large mat space and even showers! And they offer free trials so come check them out. Can't wait for them to start kid classes so I can sign up the whole family!
