First I believe martial arts has been instrumental in positively shaping my life starting at a very young age. Core values such as discipline, respect and honor are extremely important for our youth to understand. For this reason, I have enrolled my daughters with Professor Andrezza Facanha who exemplifies these values like no other. Her keen ability in keeping the kids focused while making class fun is a winning combination. This family owned dojo (forgive me in keeping my Shotokan roots) aka academy is rooted in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu but offers kick boxing classes well. In modern martial arts, I believe its essential to expose students to multiple disciplines hence "mixed martial arts." Andrezza's expertise is unmatched and I'm grateful to have my daughters enrolled. As there are multiple academy's in the area to choose from please take my word (I have over 30 years of experience in training) they are the best especially with kids! Oss!

After taking a break from BJJ for a few years we were ready to get back in the mat. We found Andrezza Facanha Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and couldn’t be happier. The training is challenging and the environment is welcoming to all levels. Professors Andrezza and Edgar are outstanding instructors and provide a fun and safe environment for the entire family.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Andrezza Facanha Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is absolutely amazing! Professor Andrezza is incredible with kids—she has so much patience, energy, and a way of making every child feel confident and excited to learn. The kids’ program is fantastic, and I love that they even have classes for little ones as young as 3 years old! The adult classes are just as awesome. The training is top-notch, with a great balance of technical instruction, hard work, and a welcoming environment. On top of the world-class Jiu Jitsu, they also offer kickboxing, which makes it a perfect place for anyone looking to train in martial arts, get in shape, or just be part of a positive community. Highly recommend Andrezza Facanha BJJ for both kids and adults—it’s truly one of the best places to train!

I can’t say enough good things about Sensei Andrezza and Coach Edgar and their new Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym. My two daughters trained with Sensei Andrezza and her daughter Maria for a couple of years before they moved down to Coral Springs and we’ve seen so much growth in them, both on and off the mat. They’ve developed discipline, confidence, and respect, while also cultivating a deep love for BJJ and kickboxing. One of the things I really appreciate is how Sensei Andrezza allowed my 8-year old daughter to assist in coaching her 4-year old younger sister’s class, which they absolutely loved. I started training BJJ myself last year and have had the privilege of learning from both Sensei Andrezza and Coach Edgar. They’re incredibly professional, organized, and have a deep understanding of martial arts. Beyond that, it’s clear how much they truly care for each of their students, helping them grow both as athletes and individuals. They have a unique ability to simplify complex techniques, making it easier for students of all levels to grasp. If you’re in the Coral Springs/Parkland area, you’re extremely lucky to have access to their expertise. They’re truly missed, and I can’t recommend them enough!

I've been training at Andrezza Facanha since they had their soft open and I can honestly say it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made when selecting places to train. The two lead instructors are knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate about teaching. Classes are well-structured, challenging, and fun with lots of technical focus and drills to establish technique. The instructors take the time to explain techniques clearly and provide personalized feedback. Most of all, the sessions are well moderated so you feel safe when training aggressively. The gym itself is clean, spacious, and well-equipped with a friendly and supportive atmosphere. I was very impressed with the hours and variety of classes. The early morning 630am options are great for working professionals and the later evening mix of gi and no gi allow for training variations. I'm also impressed by the gym's commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for women. The women's-only classes are a great way for female practitioners to train together, learn from each other, and build confidence on the mat. My kids had the honor of training with Sensei Andreza for 2.5 years prior to her moving south and opening her gym. She created a unique bond with each of my children growing them, challenging them and bettering each one on the for the better both on and off the mat. She coached my youngest son to his double gold, my oldest son to his double silver and my daughter to her gold in her age group and bronze medal fighting up an age group in the national newbreed championships. If you are considering jujitsu in coral springs check out this gym you will be happy you did

Andreza is hands down the best jiujitsu professional in South Florida! She’s incredibly knowledgeable and has a true talent for teaching—whether you’re a complete beginner like me or an advanced black belt looking to learn new techniques. I have known Andrezza both professionally and personally for around 10 years. She truly loves teaching and coaching martial arts. My daughter loves training with her and my son is soon to follow. If you are looking for a family oriented martial arts gym go check them out.
