Holy smokes! I’ve been doing jiu jitsu in Colombia for a few months but took a break and decided to to give it another try while we were in Austin for work and I am so glad I did! My family and I were able to do a private training session with Paul, the founder, and it was not only a great workout but fun, educational and Paul is a kid whisperer! We will absolutely try to squeeze in more classes before we leave and if we lived here would have signed up on the spot. Everything is incredible quality, the place was super clean and they actually have healthy snacks and drinks for you to buy instead of just standard unhealthy options.

Our kids (8 and 11) have been training jujitsu for two years and we recently switched to the new AMP gym. The facility is clean, modern, and built for serious training. Coach Chloe and her team deliver high-level coaching with a real focus on proper technique, strategy, and competitive mindset. The kids are learning faster than ever and actually look forward to every class. Highly recommend AMP to any parent wanting quality jujitsu that produces results. Thanks Coach Chloe and team!

Can’t say enough good things about AMP. My son has been going here for about a year and I have noticed positive improvement in behavior politeness, social development, confidence In the way he carries himself and his ability to speak his mind in front of other people. Not only are you or your child learning a t beneficial sport you are gaining friends, teammates, coaches that are more than just coaches Teaching the art of joy jitsu but like family members teaching life lessons as well. They are rooted in strong morals and values and have homework for the kids to reflect on how they have or can practice solid honest behavior in daily life. Not only that but treat the parents as family and create a community you will meet and make friends with like minded individuals. Special outings for the kiddos to go bowl or laser tag, they truly go above and beyond and not because they have , because they want to. Professor Paul has created something special and I highly recommend you go see for yourself. And this is all just extra perks by the way. You also get to train and learn from highly experienced, knowledgeable coaches with a caliber of skill that is impressive and unmatched.

I've been going to AMP for about 2 months now and have only had positive experiences. The location is clean, the coaches are friendly and helpful, and the classes are accessible. Anthony and Chloe are great! I appreciate they're learning philosophy and have already learned a great deal. My kids love the parent/kids classes, too. Highly recommend!

We’ve done a couple of birthday parties at Amp BJJ and these guys deserve every star they can get on this review. They’re organized, safe, the kids have a ton of fun learning grappling skills, and they do nearly all the work. It’s amazing how fast they get that bounce house up. And the cutting of the birthday cake with a sword is simply a chef’s kiss. My son and his friends had a blast.
