We love how the coaches care so much about the students here. My son has grown physically and mentally by leaps and bounds during his time at Alliance Jiu-Jitsu. Adults and kids can get their first three classes free to try it out!
Such a great gym, from newcomers to people who have been doing jiu jitsu for several years. Vlad is an amazing coach, and all the teammates are chill dudes. Would highly recommend.
I cannot say enough good things about Vlad and his gym. My son has done youth classes and I took adult classes. I was so impressed by the way the youth classes were conducted and Vlad knew everyone by name even if it was one of their first few classes. I'm still not sure how he does that, but it is a superpower. The youth classes seemed to emphasize structure, fun, discipline, and encouraged the older students to help the younger/newer students which I found very valuable.
The adult beginner classes are not too intense and approachable. Vlad is extremely welcoming and friendly to everyone that comes through his door. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who has considered BJJ as Vlad will walk you through everything based on your skill level.
I was visiting from out of state, very welcoming, laid back, professional and solid instruction and training. Looking forward to visiting again! Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to train🤙
My boy in the youth class. The instructors really have a heart for teaching kids. They work with them individually and patiently while also driving respect and discipline.
My son has started his training in BJJ at Alliance and loves it! I can already see how his attitude is changing as far as he acts more mature when I ask him to take care of his chores, and how he speaks and treats others. He is 16 and we all know what a tough time being a 16 year old is... I'm very impressed with the instructor, Vladimir his knowledge in the art, and the other members who have more experience than my son how they help the new members.
Awesome place to train! Stoped by for a private and a noon class after, wile I was out of town working, Vladimir is very knowledgeable and I'd definitely recommend stopping by here if your in the area!

I began training here in January 2021, with minimal experience prior. Coach Vlad takes great care with newer, inexperienced students. He encourages you to listen to your body, and train accordingly. Being 30+ years old, I was initially worried about injuries, but Vlad does his best to help you avoid injuries and overtraining. He works hard to assign training partners for your benefit.
The environment is fun with all types of people and ages. The training can be competitive or more relaxed depending on your level or training desires.
Most of the other students are knowledgeable and willing to help, answer questions, rep techniques, and respect their training partners.
In a short time, my jiu jitsu has grown immensely. The great instruction, opportunity to rep, and openness for questions makes learning the technical aspects of the game enjoyable.
The kids classes are great as well! My 6 year old began training here at the same time and she has also grown tremendously. I would highly recommend letting your kids try BJJ!

I just started JiuJitsu a few months ago and I am amazed by the positive atmosphere and great teaching that is provided. As a black woman I feel as though I finally belong in a establishment that helps me build up my skills and potential as a fighter. I would definitely recommend to family and friends!
I have been training with Vlad on and off for the better part of three years. A busy work/family life makes it difficult to train consistently, but Vlad is always welcoming, understanding and happy to pick up where we left off. If it’s been awhile since I’ve been to class he always asks how I’ve been, if I’ve been working out and if I’m comfortable to roll. I couldn’t of found a better gym to call home.
Being involved with sports for most of my life, up to and including the collegiate level, I’ve never had a better coach. Vlad’s knowledge is unmatched, he has the best attitude and approach to all that enter his gym no matter their background or experience and he is a coach that I truly believe is world class on all levels with the ability to get anyone where they want to go with bjj.
Though my time at Alliance JiuJitsu was brief, I had a great experience and met some great people. The environment within Alliance was very positive and encouraging. Everyone that attended attemped to elevate their skills whilst challenging me to elevate my own. It was Vlad that oversaw and facilitated this creative and rewarding training. I train all over but Alliance ames will always be home. Vlad is a super nice, patient man. Whether your a beginner or have experience everyone is always welcomed with opened arms and given high quality instruction from day one. Highly recommend trying a class.

The staff is patient, kind, understanding, but also knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging. The facility is clean and orderly and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting.

My son attends the m/w/f evening classes for his age group (he's 8 currently). Vlad is an amazing teacher, very patient with all the kids. He is knowledgeable in this practice and takes the time to make sure the kids know what they are supposed to before moving on.
Vlad is a great instructor - he really knows his stuff!! Fundamentals classes are laid back and you can go at your own pace. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I wish I had more time to attend classes more often!
I've known Vlad and Doug for a long time and can't overstate what great guys they are. They've got a stable of killers (including MMA and Grappling Champions) , and a great kids program to boot.
