I have been a regular member of All Star for years now. I can confidently say that this place has become more than just a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school to me; it's a second home and a cornerstone of personal growth. Excellent place. If you are on the fence either about whether to start trainining Jiu jitsu, or whether to start training here, go ahead and make the leap. It's a good, no nonsense vibe. People are serious about training, and there is a good mix of belts, but also welcoming and helpful to new folks. Haris and EJ are very high level, and very humble. More affordable than other schools in Chicagoland (none of this 'belt testing/stripe testing fee' nonsense). Adem Redzovic said it best: Haris and EJ both have a spirit of joy/levity about them, and that spirit makes all the difference in training.
I am visiting All Star Jiu Jitsu from Missouri. I was immediately welcomed in like I had been coming in for years. All of the coaches are amazing practitioners and teachers. This is a top notch gym, I highly recommend coming in if you are even considering it.

Really amazing place, very high level training and instruction. EJ and Haris are some of the best instructors I’ve trained with. Very high level rolls, all humble folks who just show up to train and have fun. This gym is what JiuJitsu gyms should be. Great kids class taught by black belts which is rare. Can’t say enough good things about this gym. Nice mats with spring floor which is awesome to roll on. Men, women, kids all welcome which is also something you don’t find very often.
I was visiting Chicago and was welcomed at All Star Jujitsu as if was home. They even let me borrow a Gi 😁🥋 Coach EJ took his time to explain the techniques very thoroughly and went around to help everyone. The gym itself is very spacious and clean! I highly recommend trying All Star Jujitsu to anyone that is thinking about challenging themselves and learning something new. You will love the friendly environment and amazing staff!
As a student who has been going here for 1 1/2 years, these classes have helped me grow mentally and physically. 11/10 would recommend to every person in existence.
We came here as part of a Boy Scouts activity and the instructors were phenomenal. The space is spotless and the instructors were incredibly patient with the group of 20+ boys. They gave them their personalized attention and really connected with them. My son personally had a fantastic time. We live so close and tbh never really realized this space existed, a real gem in the community! Thank you for the wonderful time!
I'm consistently impressed by how well coach EJ handles the kids classes. He's got a special talent for coaching - especially at competitive events. Absolutely amazing. Haris and EJ have built a positive and welcoming environment and I feel very lucky to have my daughter in their classes.

My son loves training in Jiu Jitsu at All Star. I am very impressed with the instructors. They are very patient with the students, who both learn a lot and have fun doing so. I highly recommend this for kids who may not be interested in traditional sports, but still want to be involved in an activity.

Coach Haris and Coach Ej have many years of experience under their belts. Once you step onto the mats, you’ll feel welcomed and never intimidated. They will walk you through every step and answer any questions you may have regarding your training or class. The place is sanitized and the open space allows you to have a complete view of the mat in case your little ones are practicing. This place is child friendly and beginner friendly as well so you’ll feel confident enough to train. Lombard is lucky to have great instructors teaching them. Check them out! I’ve had the fortune to be trained and train with both Professor Haris and Coach EJ of All Star Jiu Jitsu for the past 11 years. The knowledge of Jiu Jitsu these two possess and their ability to share the art are top notch. Both have also taught my daughter for the past two years and really connect with kids. My daughter can’t wait to go to their classes. This school is a great edition to the west suburbs.

Two of the best instructors in Illinois. Both EJ and Haris are welcoming from the very first time you meet them. They offer top level training in a comfortable atmosphere. Its a great place to train for any level. Whether you are competing or starting your first class, EJ and Haris will be there to show you different ways to improve. You will improve on the mats and off the mats as a person. I’ve seen them teach beginners, kids and competitors. They connect with all their students and make sure they all achieve their goals. I have watched Professor Haris rise through the ranks and it is awesome to know that world class yet down to earth instruction is 10 minutes from my job! EJ is the man always with a smile and brings a genuine positive energy to the mats. He is a great instructor as well. If you are out near Lombard or if you pass by on your way home come hang with us.
I have know Haris since he was 11 or 12 years old since I was one of his first jiujitsu instructors here in Chicago. I have seen him grow into a great Teacher and father to 4kids. He is amazing teacher with great energy and knows his jiujitsu knowledge. the town of Lombard is lucky to have him as a instructor over there. Your in great hands with him as your teacher I promise you that. If he does something crazy make sure to tell me I will try my best to choke him which is very hard to do now since he is bigger and stronger then me. But it will not get to that since he is a great guy. On top of that the co onwer EJ is the filipino phenom ready to take over the world with all his new bright to ideas and his energy of making people feel like family. This two are a unstoppable BJJ duo. I hope I don’t lose any students from Chicago leaving me to train with them in Lombard.
