Great instruction and environment my son loves it and looks forward to class.
Truly cannot say enough great things about Alessi Jiu Jitsu & MMA. My son attends classes 3-4 times a week and absolutely loves everything about it. There is never a doubt in my mind that he is not only taken care of but being treated as one of their own. Between Mike, Merry, Cody and Jasper it really feels like a family and a blessing for my kids to have such role models to look up to! I could not recommend enough. We love it here!
Great experience for my 5 year old son, he looks forward to go back each day. Coach Mike is great with the kids, structure and discipline while learning a lot. Highly recommend trying a class.
I have trained at a number of places throughout the years, and I've been very fortunate to have Mike's place nearby. Mike is a very knowledgeable and patient instructor. I have learned a great deal in the month that I've been there, and the group of folks that train there have been awesome to roll with!
I have been to a couple Jiu jitsu places that were ran like a cult, super expensive, bad hours, location, locked into a membership where you’re paying for classes you can’t make because of work, etc.. & it put a bad taste in my mouth. This is quite the opposite, haven’t trained in years and have felt completely welcome with the atmosphere at Alessi Jiu Jitsu & MMA and it’s been a great learning experience here (very happy with joining). Coach Mike is always open minded without an ego and he loves what he does, always trying to make everyone in the room better. He also is more than willing to help train people in specific careers such as Law Enforcement & Corrections who should always receive more training than what they are provided in today’s world! Highly Recommend!!
Amazing Environment and a great Instructor. I highly recommend to try it out
Great place! I'm excited that there is bjj and MMA looking forward to learning more.
Such a great place to learn an awesome sport with even better people teaching you has a family atmosphere that you don’t get at many places I highly recommend
Nice Guy, stopped by for an open mat. Good atmosphere.
Awesome school with great instruction. The environment is phenomenal and not just for growth in bjj but in life. Definitely a grappling gem in the area!
Awesome little spot in Chatham to train BJJ under a very knowledgeable Mike Alessi. All in on making people better- from beginner to a seasoned vet. Look forward to bringing my daughter in soon for Mini Animals!
Great coach and a great guy. My daughter has been training under him for almost a year. She has learned a ton and competes at a higher level now.
I’ve trained with Mike on and off for the past few years. He’s a great instructor that will take the time to make sure you’re understanding every step. The new gym looks great and I can’t wait for it to open. Whether you’re new to Jiu Jitsu or have been training a while you should stop in and check them out.
Mike is a great instructor. I’ve known him two years or so and have trained with him throughout that time. I’m excited to see this new facility open up. If you’re in the area thinking about trying a new gym you should check out Alessi Jiu Jitsu & MMA.
