I highly recommend AJ’s Kickboxing Academy. I was very nervous before I started. But I have always felt comfortable and supported here. The instructors are patient, explain things again when I need it and never make me feel embarrassed when I forget a combo 0.3 seconds later 😂😂😂😂😂 Everyone is friendly and there is no judgement. The classes push me and help me improve, but the atmosphere is still welcoming and fun. If you’re thinking about trying kickboxing but believe you’re not fit enough, confident enough or simply won’t be able to do it, please give it a try. Sometimes we think we need to be ready before starting, but the confidence comes from showing up. I’m so glad I did! 🥊

I have been training at Kickboxing Aj’s for almost six months, and my daughter has been attending since March 2025. I am extremely happy with this place — every training session teaches me new skills, and kickboxing has truly become my passion. The atmosphere is welcoming, motivating, and supportive, and every trainer puts tremendous effort into teaching and helping each student improve. Training here has also made me much more disciplined and focused in my daily life, which I really appreciate. My daughter absolutely loves this sport. She looks forward to every class, has learned so much, and gained confidence along the way. The coaches are patient, professional, and genuinely care about each student’s progress. It’s more than just a training center — it’s a community where both adults and children can grow, learn, and enjoy themselves. I wholeheartedly recommend Kickboxing Aj’s to anyone looking for high-quality training, whether you are just starting out or looking to develop your skills further. ❤️

My son & daughter both train at AJ’s. My daughter has been training for nearly 3 years and the confidence she has developed in that time is superb, as well as gaining valuable kickboxing skills. My son has been training for 6 years & has just gained his 3rd brown belt ready for his black belt next year and is also part of the fight team with a few fights under his belt. He has developed massively thanks to Chris & the other instructors & is very confident. Both my children look forward to every class and PT session. If you’re looking for a martial arts school that commands discipline from all of its students but makes every class engaging for every student then get yourselves to AJ’s

For years I struggled to engage my son in sport, we tried so many different activities. But from the first day he stepped into AJ’s he was hooked. The staff are incredibly supportive, there is a great community atmosphere. They have the perfect balance of fun and discipline. We are now both blue belts and looking forward to our on-going journey. I am very thankful to AJ’s. It really is a club for all, I would recommend anyone to give it a go.

Absolutely amazing place. If you’re looking for self defence for your little one then look no further. The coaches are so patient and take the time to teach and correct. My son’s confidence has grown so much from coming and after a few months he got his first belt and a few star of the class certificates. They create a calm and fun atmosphere but also teach respect and are the loveliest people. I know my son will be coming to AJ’s for years to come.

My son was already experienced in taekwondo when he joined this club but by learning new techniques of kickboxing from excellent, experienced and knowledgeable teachers he has regained a passion for martial arts. He really enjoys the classes and comes back from each class buzzing.
