Coach Marco and Coach Bob are collectively a class act. I came in for a 10 day free trial in January 2025, and was immediately hooked! I didn’t know exactly what to expect, but what happened—everyone was kind, patient and respectful. This practice is gender-leveling, highly athletic, and incredibly addictive. The instructors break down the basics, slowly at first, so that everyone can learn according to their own abilities. I highly recommend trying a class.

My 7 year old son has been training at Aguilera Martial Arts for a little over a year now and has been learning so much, making friends, and having a blast while learning some high level Jiu Jitsu. We started at another gym when he was 5 and had a negative experience. I remember visiting multiple gyms trying to find a replacement and when we arrived here at Aguilera Martial Arts my son was really happy to see the huge gym space, friendly students who welcomed him and Professor Marco, his son Coach Marco and Coach Blade who were friendly and welcoming! Aguilera BJJ is a FANTASTIC family owned business that we highly recommend! And it all starts at the top, with the Owner (Professor Marco), who I have found to be trustworthy, respectful, responsive, knowledgeable and kind. The instructors are so patient and helpful as well. My 2nd grader loves going to Coach Marco's classes because he incorporates fun games related to the sport so he is never bored (which was an initial concern as a parent enrolling their child in a slower paced sport). Oh, and try the FREE class - it will help you make a decision! The sport of BJJ is truly fascinating as we observe our son learning to use his body in ways he wasn't aware of. I love that classes are flexible with a range of days we can choose to attend and the school has a precise communication system, so we are always up to date via text and email regarding important notices. Excellent, family friendly Jiu-Jitsu gym. The owner and coaches are active competitors and actively train vs just coaching which shows in the quality of coaching. This is a safe gym on all fronts, from cleanliness to grappling partners which is immensely important to me as an adult female that trains. Rex taught me the way of the Bushido. My Bo staff skills and numchuk skills went up and I've also improved my style. Everyone fears a roundhouse kick from me when I wear my American flag parachute pants. There was no way I could get a girl like Starla before attending these classes. I met Marco in 2016 when he was training students at a gym i use to workout at. My only regret was trying a class then. I have thought about the sport on and off since meeting Marco and even reached out a couple of times. He was always responsive and never pushy to come in. I finally tried a class in September of 2021 and became a member. All of the professors are top notch and extremely patient with everyone. Been attending this location for jiu jitsu for 3 years and couldn't recommend it enough! Plenty of availability in classes every day, enough to accommodate anyone's weekly school / work schedule. Professor Marco is an excellent and well trained teacher that cares for all of his students of all ages. He works hard to keep the lessons clear and well communicated, and the gym is always very clean and looking great. Everyone who attends regularly always remarks how good it feels once the class is over, and the students work well with one another to better their techniques and skill. A very supportive and motivated community and I couldn't recommend it enough!

My family and I have been training at Aguilera BJJ since August of 2018. Marco Aguilera seamlessly combines complex/detailed instruction with a patient learning friendly atmosphere. This gym has a strong sense of camaraderie in the adult classes. We show up to better ourselves AND make the people around us better. The kids classes are challenging but fun and certainly make a positive impact on children. My children (Boy-7 and Girl-5) enjoy learning Jiu-Jitsu because Marco is creative and structures their classes in a way that trains the children while having fun. You can choose to pay for a bigger building, day care center or large franchise, but none will provide you with the combination of talent and heart that comes from Professor Marco into each individual student. My two sons (12 & 8) and I take BJJ classes here and I could not be more happy with our decision. Coach Marco strikes the perfect balance of fun, learning, and discipline with the kids. I have never had to push my boys to attend training. Watching them progress in their skills has also been rewarding. As a student myself, Coach Marco’s personality and approach to instruction are a perfect match for me. His laid back atmosphere inside the gym, but close attention to detail and close instruction keep me confident that his focus is always passing his knowledge. One of the best things about this gym is the schedule. I have never seen a gym with such a wide variety of class days and times. I cannot say enough good things about this place, the professor Marco, the Muay Thai coach, and the Aguilera family behind the name. My family started June 2020 and my son and daughter Maxwell and Lillian have both grown substantially in many areas. My son who is 9 was initially a very shy, quiet, reserved individual. His elementary teachers described him as being slightly withdrawn and guarded. He has grown to be very confident, more vocal, very respectful, eager to assist those around him, his teachers say he has completely come out of his shell. He completely loves every aspect of Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai. My daughter Lillian is described more as a distracted social butterfly with sass. She has becomes less easily distracted, more disciplined, more respectful, more confident for speaking up for herself against bullying in school. I also attend with my significant other of whom he already had a love for Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai. He'd gotten away from it due to life and responsibility and has fallen back into the joy it gives him and the sense of accomplishment and tranquility. I personally am enjoying feeling more confident in self defense. I'm a Realtor and you just never know in any situation as a woman you will need to defend yourself. My favorite part is that the Aguilera family makes you feel so welcome. They are leaders, they provide guidance and direction, they instill respecting yourself and other's around you. They have helped my children grow tremendously. I love how they teach with calmness, discipline, encouragement, and I can say they are the best out here!

I have been a student at Aguilera BJJ for about 2 years now. In the beginning, I knew very little about the sport, but Coach Marco and the other students were very welcoming and patient with me. It was an extremely welcoming environment and everyone was super helpful. Coach Marco’s wife walked us through all the classes offered and pricing. My wife leaned over and told me that we were joining the gym. The membership process was super easy. Coach Marco is an amazing coach and is one of the most patient people I have ever met. My three boys also love training at the gym and are interested in competing soon. This gym also offers MMA classes, Muay Thai, yoga for BJJ, weight training area with squat rack and deadlift platform. If you are interested in learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or any of the other disciplines mentioned above, come try out a training class yourself or bring your child to try out a class, I promise you will love it. I can say personally that coming here since Sep 2018, joining Aguilera was easily one of my best decisions made as a young adult. Coach Marco has taught such a wide array of skills and techniques, while remaining detailed and consistent to helping his students learn and get better. With how many classes are available each day, Marco makes it very easy for anyone to jumpstart their day, week, year on a better mindset. This gym has helped me to create a more consistant and healthy lifestyle overall, approaching many new obstacles in my personal life with a strong positive mindset. I dont know what I would do without an outlet like this, and for that I cant thank the coach enough. You should absolutely try this gym out. Cant recommend it enough.

Really enjoying the class. Muay Thai is one of the most lethal Martial Arts and coupled with BJJ is great. Coach Zac is very calmed and detailed explaining the technique, posture, etc. The class also include conditioning which get you to burn calories like crazy.

Coach Marco is the most supportive teacher you could ever ask for, while keeping his feedback real, which forces one to improve and think about what one is doing. Coach Marco Aguilera is a true professional. The quality of instruction at this Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school is superb and adds quality to the lives of the students. Jiu Jitsu is a fantastic way to heal or sharpen the mind and body. Coach Marco is an excellent teacher who will take the time necessary to make you familiar with the movements and techniques of Jiu-Jitsu. The gym is a welcoming size, which dispels any temptation to feel overwhelmed or threatened when joining the gym. I had been training at another gym for eight months when unexpected circumstances forced me to stop. After being away for a year I knew I needed to get back to it and find a new Jiu Jitsu home. I did various searches over the course of a few months and decided to give Aguilera BJJ Studio a try. They offer a week for free to try out their classes (BJJ, Kickboxing, and Boot Camp). After just one class I knew this was where I needed to be. Coach Marco a wonderful instructor, who is patient and shows a lot of care for his students, and ensures clear understanding of all techniques so no one is left behind. The other students are welcoming and eager to learn and truly make it feel like a family.
