Caveirinha Jiu-Jitsu Family (CJJF) is a premier Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in North Texas. Our academy welcomes all ages, body types, and experience levels, giving everyone a chance to learn and have fun in an organized and safe environment.
I started training at CJJF Prosper in July 2023, with The Warrior Challenge and fell in love! I am forever grateful for the community and family feel that CJJF offers, as well as all the skills I have learned on the mat. Thanks to Professor Jon for introducing me to the gym and to Coach Carlos who has changed my life with Muay Thai! I am so excited to continue my journey and urge everyone and anyone to join! You will improve your body, your mind, and your soul!
Posted 7 months agoI’ve trained BJJ at gyms around the world. None of those can compare to CJJF. CJJS’s black belt professors are great at adapting the maneuvers to different fighting styles and body types and the training partners are great at pushing me outside my self-imposed mental boundaries. All in all, I couldn’t ask for a better learning environment and experience.
Posted 4 months agoWe enrolled our son at CJJF a little over a month ago. He had been training for over a year at a different gym, and we decided it was time for a change. We couldn't be happier with our decision to continue his journey with the amazing people at CJJF. Everyone has been so welcoming and amazing. Professor Jonathon Hunter is a fantastic instructor, along with all his staff. Neil is always super helpful with any of our questions or needs. The attention to detail during instruction is outstanding, and all the instructors work hard to ensure that the kids are able to practice and perform what they've learned proficiently. Our son has loved being a part of the CJJF family and really enjoys the instructors as well as the daily games of dodgeball and bulldog! As a family, we feel our son is safe and in good hands every day he attends class. We are confident that he is getting the best instruction available, and we are excited to see him continue his journey with CJJF. Posted 1 year agoFrom day one at the Caveirinha Academy in Prosper, the sense of community has been incredible, and the patience of all the professors has made learning a rewarding experience. I started with the Warrior Challenge and have enjoyed every class since. The coaching has been top-notch, and the 1:1 time with instructors has really helped me refine my learning and address any questions I’ve had. Professor Jon, Winters, Coach Henny, and the rest of the instructors are truly dedicated to their students, providing guidance and encouragement every step of the way. I look forward to continuing my Jiu-Jitsu journey here! Highly recommend CJJF to anyone looking to train in a supportive environment.
Posted 5 months agoCJJF has been absolutely amazing for our boys! We especially appreciate Coach Belazenhia—his demeanor and approach with the kids are incredible. His patience, encouragement, and ability to teach with kindness make such a positive impact. All of the coaches are fantastic, and our boys have learned so much since joining. We’re so grateful to be part of this community!
