Great school for competitors and hobbyists alike. Tons of mat space, large classes, and they offer an adult class alongside the kids class so as a parent you can train while your kids train; instead of sitting on the sidelines waiting. Top notch instruction and really friendly atmosphere.

I did Jiu jitsu for the first time in the Army and have trained on and off at a handful of schools over the years but none have ever had such an amazing group of people. The training is great but the community of people are what makes this school thrive and stand out above the rest.

The. Best. Time. We had a self-defense intro, group class,-of female family members that were in from out of town. My sisters, nieces, daughters and I all participated in a cross generational class (ages 30 to 70) So enjoyable and the coach made it fun while we learned.These are skills that every person should learn. This is a sport that usually appeals to men and I can see why it would be great to develop the strength and discipline. But they give space and support to women as well. - if we lived in this city we would definitely be signed up at this gym, as there is nothing like this at home. If you are a woman intimidated by places like this, bring a few friends for a group class, you won’t regret it.

I love this place, they always make me feel at home. I'm a beginner and a senior citizen, and my daughter brought me in. At first I thought she had lost her mind, but once I learned a few moves I felt so strong and powerful. Raphael is such a sweet instructor. He's funny, and made me laugh when I made mistakes. It's a great place for kids or adults. Even seniors!

The best BJJ place around! Great instructors and teammates to be around! Everyone works together to improve, yet push each other! Can't ask for a better place! *Edit* We have had numerous Seminars by big names in the sport! We have moved to a new location that allows us more room and looks fantastic. It has two mat spaces for different skillset classes beginner and advanced. Been training with this team for over a year now, competed 3 times with IBJJf and have had the absolute best time!

Starting jiu-jitsu as a family has been an incredible experience! From the first day at school, we were all very well received, even though we were beginners and had no knowledge or experience whatsoever. Rafael is highly qualified and has a patient and clear approach, especially with children. I recommend him to anyone who wants to start jiu-jitsu and live this transformative experience in such a welcoming and positive environment!

Whether you’re just starting out or have been working at it for years Rafa is an incredible instructor, and can make you better. Rafa makes being at the gym fun and is incredibly welcoming. He cares for his students and it shows in his teaching.

Professor Rafael is an amazing teacher. I had the fortune to train under him for two years and I cannot overstate the difference he made in my game. He is an awesome person and a true friend. If you have the chance to train at Adonai don't give it a second thought.

Absolutely the best! I started a year ago and wouldn't do it if was not by the teacher @Rafael Jesus, he is definitely a true leader that balances firm instruction with kindness and a caring attitude. My 3 kids and wife are now enrolled and we are excited about it. Adonai is the best choice for true Brazilian jiu-jitsu in the triad!

Great place, great atmosphere and instruction! Professor Rafael de Jesus, besides being a black belt under the legendary Cristiano Marcelo, an Engineer and a great teacher, he is also a world class competitor with over 10 years of experience - competing on every colored belt - that rolls with every student no matter their size or level of experience and knows everyone by their name. I cannot recommend enough that you try his place before deciding where to train. Osss.

I have trained jiu jitsu for years under several different t people. Rafa is by far my favorite teacher. He cares for each of his students and pushes for the best out of you. If he was still in my area there is no other place I would even think about training

Weird vibe when I got in there, the students are nice, but there’s something about the instructor had some weird rules and just didn’t seem very welcoming.
