I have enjoyed watching our children grow as martial artists as well as young men. I appreciate the multiple instructors on the mat and the variety of training phylosophies.
This has been the best place for our kids! The instruction is top notch. The professors and coaches take time with every kiddo to help them excel. They also have kids no gi classes which has really helped my kids improve their skills.
Very nice people, kid-centered (for the younger age groups) and they are great with our kids. Nice balance of discipline, strategy, skill development, and fun! Our children love it. Very clean facility. Highly recommend for children. (They seem very knowledgeable for adults as well, I'm just not taking the sessions, so the review is focused on my children's experience).
This team is the absolute best around. The instructors have an incredible attention to detail and enthusiasm for the art. I’ve had the privilege of training under the founders Hector and Eduardo and can truly say that my skill level is a testament to there love for the art.
This is the second Academy location I have been to. Very clean gym and the staff is amazing. Classes are clear and concise. Love the energy of the students and professors. Definitely try this gym out, great for beginners as well as those who have trained previously.
My first day here coach hector and Andre made me feel extremely welcomed. I took longer than others to understand the techniques but they showed alot of patience and guided me through them. There was never a time where I felt unsafe or uncomfortable. I highly recommend this place for people looking to start their martial arts journey. They also offer amazing kickboxing classes. The class schedules make it easy to do it consecutively which helps out with of a busy schedule!
Absolutely love Academy Yorba Linda! The atmosphere is amazing and makes me feel inspired and empowered. Coaches are amazing, very technical, supportive, and helpful. The other martial artists and coaches show so much positive encouragement. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to do martial arts.
I love this place!! Started off at the Downey location but come here often since it’s closer to home! Professor Hector is the best coach to learn from his technique and his demeanor in class make this school one of the best Jiu Jitsu schools for anybody looking to roll at any level. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to learn Jiu Jitsu or just stay in shape!
